I remember seeing all these trailers in 2007. I was 6 years old and loved the other 2 films. I was hyped like everyone else was for Spider-Man 3. Me, my dad, and my aunt watched the film in theatres right after it came out. We liked it. Sad that Sony couldn't let Raimi make the film he intended, cause it could of been as good as the other 2 films.

These trailers and TV spots are epic. Shame Spider-Man 3 couldn't live up to the hype because of an overstuffed script and Sony forcing Raimi to include Venom in the film instead of saving him for Spider-Man 4. But this movie is still a guilty pleasure of mine, and I enjoy it more than either Amazing Spider-Man film.

RiderNexus What I love about his performance is that, while I love certain aspects of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's performances (Maguire was a great Peter Parker, Garfield was a good Spider-Man), I feel like they never fully captured the entirety of his character. Maguire's Spidey, while not bad, didn't crack many jokes, and Garfield's Peter Parker was kind of a prick. Which is why I'm glad that Tom Holland successfully depicted both sides of the character, at least in my opinion.

This film is the best of the original trilogy, the best, in my opinion, of the franchise (yes, I loves the Amazing Spider-Man, which is a close second), and one of the best superhero "movies" of all time... a true Masterpiece! MORE Flint Marko/Sandman action/plot themes, with much more emphasis on him trying to find a cure for his daughter, & more interaction with his family... an entire alternate ending was shot involving him getting into a deadly brawl with SpiderMan, almost killing him, then for his daughter & wife to come for him to get back to his senses and leave with his family, shortly after apologizing to Peter for killing his Uncle (all of this happens BEFORE the final confrontation w Venom). 2. MORE of Harry's turn into Goblin; scenes were shot involving Harry constantly being haunted/suppressed by visions of Norman telling him to fulfil his destiny & kill Peter, also a scene where MJ comes to comfort Harry after his brutal fight w/ evil Peter had his face disfigured (the lines from the trailer were present: "We have to forgive each other, OR everything we ever were will mean nothing"). 3. MORE of Peter & MJ together; more was shot of them trying to figure how to work through their relationship now that threat is eminent. Alternate/extended takes of dialogue were done(heard in trailers), and even a scene where Peter goes inside her appartment to apologize to her after he hit her earlier, to which she mournfully disaccepts, also an emotional extension of the bridge scene where MJ breaks it off w Peter, while Harry on looks (from trailer). 4. MORE of Eddie Brocks story/relationship w Gwen Stacy; more dialogue/scenes shot, particularly a scene where he goes to confront Gwen at her house, & another where he gets drunk and violent at a bar following the scene where evil Peter escorts Gwen to the bar where MJ sang at. 5. MORE Black Suit & Venom; many scenes where Peter goes to Dr. Conners frequently, scenes where evil Peter is shown in full effect (during the bar dance, he kisses Gwen passionately in front of MJ, that's why she gets mad at him), MJ says "What's happened to you?" after being slapped & looks at the ring that Peter had, also a scene where Eddie confronts Sandman, who turned into a sandcastle unknowingly for his daughter to play on, at a beach and threatens to I'll his daughter and wife if he didn't help kill SpiderMan. 6. Love theme (all three), Peter asks Harry for help (USED during ALT scene where Peter, not in costume, confronts Harry after disfigurement & asks him "I need your help, I have to stop it"), Family reunion (USED for the alternate ending with Sandman & his family... very touching), Web of love/crash land, Sandman's birth, Happy Ending, & End Web.

The reviews of this movie discouraged Sam Raimi to the point of canceling Spider-Man 4. Imagine going from the critical success of Spider-Man 2, often regarded as the greatest superhero flick of ALL TIME, to being GRILLED so hard over Spider-Man 3 that you just wanna give up superheroes altogether.

+ASAP BIDOOF Nothing was decided for Spider-Man 4, that's why it was canned. There were multiple options, but my favourite was that all those Bruce Campbell cameos would turn out to be Mysterio watching Spiderman or some shit, it sounded awesome.

I remember being 5/6 years old being obsessed with this film! Watching these trailers/tv spots on repeat. I remember my parents getting me the DVD and watching it on repeat including all the bonus features! This film is so nostalgic to me and now after all these seeing some of the deleted concept art and Scenes would be beyond amazing to have the orignal Rami ending with Eddie's Skeleton and all the deleted scenes that bring more depth to the original story! I like to think I'm not the only one who wants the Rami cut! Whos with Me?
I'd definitely love to see all the deleted material for this movie, it's a shame we've only gotten what feels like scraps over the years. But it fits with Sony's consistency, I guess: deleted ASM 2 material, especially containing Shailene Woodley's MJ, and more recently the Goblin vs Tobey Spider-Man from NWH that was cut that will probably never see the light of day.

The first 2 are great, this let me down. I'm sorry but the potential was wasted by the lack of focus and lackluster script. As for amazing Spider-Man, I enjoyed it but its also flawed. Amazing Spider-Man isn't as good as the first two in Raimi's trilogy but it's better than Spider-Man 3.

When I saw 1:09 part of the trailer for the first time I thought it was actually Felicia Hardy instead of Gwen, I thought she had Peter under some trance or something.

My 2 favorite superhero movies made a tie for 1st place 1. The Dark Knight & Spider-Man 3. The Amazing Spider-Man might replace Spider-Man 3, but it will still be one of my favorite superhero movies of all time.

I loved all of the Sam Raimi Spider-man movies since my childhood brings me back memories good times watching.
I don't care what people say about Spider-Man 3 because Tobey is the only one who has completed his story especially wearing the Venom suit. That alone makes this movie awesome. All hail Tobey Maguire!

Imagine going from the critical success of Spider-Man 2, often regarded as the greatest superhero flick of ALL TIME, to being GRILLED so hard over Spider-Man 3 that you just wanna give up superheroes altogether.
Hopefully Sony can give us Spider-Man 4 since Tobey Maguire appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

+ASAP BIDOOF Nothing was decided for Spider-Man 4, that's why it was canned. There were multiple options, but my favourite was that all those Bruce Campbell cameos would turn out to be Mysterio watching Spiderman or some shit, it sounded awesome.

I love the last part of the first trailer where in the window we can see his Red and Blue Suit while on the outside we only see his Black Suit.
I remember being 5/6 years old being obsessed with this film! Watching these trailers/tv spots on repeat. I remember my parents getting me the DVD and watching it on repeat including all the bonus features! This film is so nostalgic to me and now after all these seeing some of the deleted concept art and Scenes would be beyond amazing to have the orignal Rami ending with Eddie's Skeleton and all the deleted scenes that bring more depth to the original story! I like to think I'm not the only one who wants the Rami cut! Whos with Me?
I'd definitely love to see all the deleted material for this movie, it's a shame we've only gotten what feels like scraps over the years. But it fits with Sony's consistency, I guess: deleted ASM 2 material, especially containing Shailene Woodley's MJ, and more recently the Goblin vs Tobey Spider-Man from NWH that was cut that will probably never see the light of day.

The first 2 are great, this let me down. I'm sorry but the potential was wasted by the lack of focus and lackluster script. As for amazing Spider-Man, I enjoyed it but its also flawed. Amazing Spider-Man isn't as good as the first two in Raimi's trilogy but it's better than Spider-Man 3.
Those last 2 trailers have the choir in the background that I was looking for. It’s what I remember most hearing on tv when I’d see the trailer pop up😎. Glad I got to hear it again😌.

That tv spot for Venom is very misleading. They make it seem like he has a big role in the film.
Peter gets more a successful life with Mary Jane and his role as the hero Spider-man.

But, His greatest challenge commences when His suit turns Black by an alien entity, that reveals his dark side.
I love this movie to death.I can understand the hate but overall it's a beautiful movie with a very good message at it's core.
