Apparently Lego sent the creator of the mod a DCMA and forced him to remove it from the steam workshop and delete the mod.

I need a mission where Gordon has to fight a lot of enemies and solve gravity puzzles to get the lego parts of the car he uses and build it with the classic lego animation.
Ok that is genuinely amazing, the camera angles really sell it, too.
for me, it just looks funny how everything is normal except for the entities that are small. even that, its really well done

This is truly amazing to see - I was the (generous title) project lead on a mod that sought to do this way back in the day - unfortunately I was too young to realise what we were getting into and it never came to pass, so this makes me very happy
There's a mod for Quake called BlockQuake. It's obviously Lego, right down to the homepage's description - "A total conversion mod for Quake featuring familiar plastic blocks." They've had no trouble. Maybe calling it Block Half-Life would of been better.
The player again picks up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Legoman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Legoman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Lego Mesa. And a lot of people he cares about are counting on him.

Looks really fun, but as we all know Lego, projekt will be swarmed by their lawyers in no time. :/ Lego is one of the worst companies in the world, the " Take Two " of Kids Toys.

It was a mod for Half-lIfe 2 but it has been removed from Steam Workshop
@icesmash Oooh I didn't get a good look at the levels being straight from the game. Just noticed it's only characters models that changed. Damn now I need a TF2 lego mod.
