Sounds great! My thing is - is Eco/Normal unaffected? I dont want to compromise on my quiet, chill driving. I love the dual personality of this car. Also, I see Jacob is 'octane learned' during the test drive (19psi / 300tq). I'm on week 3 of ownership and 3 refuels and I STILL cannot get it to do so. Can you ask him what his secret criteria is to make it happen? lol
It makes both slightly louder, but it definitely still maintains its alter egos. Just keep driving the car, both hard and soft, and make sure you have actually good quality fuel in the car. Spiking a tank with Octanium may help.
Great video. My car is completely stock. I want to purchase from Sixth, the titanium mid pipe. Do I need to get anything extra for the installation? Such as extra gaskets or parts?
Nice video.. the times are confusing? The midpipe seems slower by 1/10th to every number except 60-130? 60-120 it’s 1/10th slower? Are we sure it’s quicker?
Maybe better to test on same stretch of road? I thought the after test was on a slight decline? Perhaps throw it up on a dyno and see if there is any extra power? But I do love your video content / style. :)
@jonttran1092 we recently went to the track and the car was 4 tenths faster in the 1/4 with almost 3mph more than the prior trips 13.2 @ 110mph wheel hopping really bad. It’s faster, but for the type of scientific data you want we’d need a dyno in a controlled environment and we just aren’t interested in being that granular. Anything that increases flow - reducing back pressure on a turbo car will make power.
@@MurphysLawGarage thank you for the response and last question does it cause drone? I want my car to sounds normal on eco/normal and have the extra pops and bangs on n mode does this do this? Any noticeable difference on eco/normal and does the cabin inside sound louder? Sorry for all the questions and thank you again nice video btw!
I know I commented at the beginning of the video lol. I have a Kona N and we got 2 resonators and when I had them deleted the muffler guy tried telling me one was a cat. I assured him it wasn’t and he checked and verified.
only the last 10 MPH to 130MPH was faster and you lost everywhere else...plus you had a higher negative slope....take it to the track and see if its faster.
I love how incredibly accurate and informative you are.
Thanks
“Your credit score is dropping as we speak” 😂😂
I’m glad you caught that 😂😂😮💨

Thanks
Great video been debating this for a while
Thanks - do it!

Nope
Does the tune change the factory pops and bangs? does it make them louder?
Yes

Yes, because the DA was significantly worse on the after pass meaning the car would’ve been down on power yet it still was within a tenth,

@jonttran1092 are you familiar with Density Altitude and how it affects HP?
Agree with you but perhaps test With as many variables the same or we don’t know if the midpipe is the reason or not

how much is mid pipe? and does it fit to 23?
Its probably best you reach out to SXTH
Will this fit on my Hatch? =O
If you try hard enough
How much louder is the car when its in its quieter modes?
Very barely louder
@MurphysLawGarage thank you.
Is the exhaust stock and the only thing you change was the midpipe?
Yes

@suave3788 no drone, everything is slightly louder and pops are evident in all modes
@@MurphysLawGarage you get pops in eco/normal?
@suave3788 yes
Do you have stock or aftermarket DP?
Stock for this video
What intake are you running?
Stock intake.
Time to do the SXTH Intake elbow
@@MurphysLawGarage
I’m sure Jake will get one sooner or later, unless SXTH wants us to do some promotional video. 😅
😂 How thick is that steering wheel 😅
Very
No secondary CAT. Only CAT is on the DP.
We found that out.

does he have a tune?
Yes
@@MurphysLawGarage figured with the amount of popping
@@PoloCN7NI have an N75 tune, I love it.
Hi was curious who did he go with for the tune and what kind of tune was it stage 1 or 2 with enhanced pops and burbles?
@user-td7df9wn2p its custom tuned by N75 - no “stages”
for force induction cars more flow faster car
Um, generally yes.

Its been
Doesn't remove secondary cat because we didn't have one... It does remove the resonator next to the down pipe which contains the only cat on the car.
Yep
