Deer valley is a great resort. Everyone that works there is on the next level when it comes to customer service. You dont see anything but smiles at that mountain. Really special place.
My snowboard is not allowed, $250 for the flat back of the mountain, entitled karens everywhere, good but overhyped expensive food, no terrain park....and did mention no boards allowed? Yeah.... Really special place. -Whiskey Bench!
yes! thats why DV is consistently rated among the top resorts in NA! service is incredible and not to mention, the terrain up top is pretty wicked also!

I had something similar happen when I was running attack 14s, when the ski flexed out really quickly, i.e. pushing down from hard pack to soft, the rear binding would release. It happened twice in one day, then got them adjusted, happened a third time and that was the last time I will run anything but look pivots.

I’m still a beginner, skiing in the Midwest, but I’ve learned a lot already from watching your videos. Thanks for inspiring me to get out there and give it a shot, as well as even start making ski videos of my own. First ski trip of the year for me will be in two weeks in Wisconsin. Can’t wait to try out my new gear and get a video together. Appreciate everything you do!

@GetThisNick That place in Dubuque Iowa is probably my favorite place in the Midwest. I think it was called Sundown. Not many people know about it and it's a reverse ski area. You park on top and ski down off the plateau into the Mississippi River Valley. The headwall on top is actually challenging too.

Incredible save. Highly recommend switching to Pivot 15/18s with the metal toe piece. I promise that'd never happen on those guys... though yes, they're not as easy to get into. I think you'd appreciate the additional weight/stability you get with a super heavy binding too.

A block of ice grabbed my weighted ski doing about 45mph, but the ski didnt release. complete ACL and LCL tear, partial meniscus tear. done for the season after only 4 days. hope you continue to stay safe out there brotha!

If you took those lime green attack 16s from your old JJs, they might be due for a replacement. I don't know the lifespan on a set of bindings but they can't last forever. We're all lookin out for ya!

I was just out there hiking at the end of October, I haven't skied DV since one of the first years they opened. Hey @LucasCatania17, I don't know if you remember me, you used to take music lessons at my shop in Fayetteville many years ago. I may come out in the spring, I'll look you up and we'll go rip it up.
@@LucasCatania17 I have a bulging disk with sciatica, got too eager to get on the snow made it a lot worse now I’m pretty much immobile and all my progress was set back further. 100% my fault that’s what I get for being dumb 🤷
