I was deciding between the Husky and these today. I found a dented top at Lowe's and walked out the door with a top and bottom for $600. I was really aiming towards the Husky (I wish I bought one years ago when I saw one for $449) but at almost half the price of what I can currently get the Husky for, the Craftsman came home with me. I have a 10 or so year old Sears $99 26" Craftsman that's done just fine, so I'm not really concerned with the longevity. The extra space is amazing though.

I bought the two boxes at lowes on sale . It was with tax 848.00 I was surprised it was already put together and not in boxes . I just wheeled it out the store.

@@HaiTran Yea I had the 26 inch but went to 52 . I have had issues with lowes in the past buying craftsman cabinets etc I had took them home and they were bent. I guess lowes will take everything out of boxes to make sure nothing is bent
That is definitely not true at every Lowe’s I’ve been to as every box I’ve seen has some damage. That’s why I did not want one that was preassembled but that’s all that they had.
@@HaiTran they even put a tag on the tool box stating which employee inspected and put together and if you liked to recognize the employee for doing a outstanding job.. it wasn’t the floor model because I checked . Usually lowes charges a fee to put things together . Maybe all this was because of black friday
My local Lowe’s is the opposite. Everything is typically preassembled and on the floor.
I’m just so use to craftsman I need a new tool chest I was looking at this one too I’m undecided
If you're set on Craftsman, then it does what it's supposed to. Can't really complain about that.
