I didn't fly or be in the cold, but I was having the crackling noise so I had my phone replaced under warranty 2 TIMES! Had the same problem with all 3 phones!! I just did what you said and IT FIXED IT... YOU ARE A GENIUS! THANK YOUUUUUU SO MUCH!
This actually worked for me!! Thanks for the tip. I am a mountain climber/climbing arborist and my phone had been on and off crackling for weeks. 1 minute later, fixed
I came across your video as I was googling as to why my galaxy s22 plus had cracking when I was trying to make a call. I took the sim card out and left it out for 5 mins and I put it back in and it works perfect. Thank you again. 😊
Holy!!! My dude you're a life saver. I was panicking after the flight back home and my phone had little to no sound. Almost smashed it out of anger but lucky I decided to check out RUclips for help. Thank God for your video man. Much respect 🙏
I can't hear what he is saying my speaker volume is on maximum but no sound. Funny thing is when I put my mouth at the speaker and I blow inwards as if I'm inhaling or sucking up dirt out of the speaker it sounds and as I remove my mouth it goes mute again. What's that about? There is no dirt in there
What I mean is for example I put my mouth where the mesh is I inhale as if I'm smoking /inhaling a cigar and then sound come out only then. It use to work fine. Just randomly started to crackle/distort. Then eventually no sound is coming out now unless I inhale the speakers lol which is crazy of u think about it
Not sure if you're talking about the video in general but if you are and can't hear the audio due to an issue with your speaker, the solution was to remove the SIM card tray for a few.
Checked almost 50 video concerning speaker crackling sound. Yours was the only one suggesting removing card and reinstalling it. I'm so glad, it worked perfectly and I didn't have to mess with software. Thank you so very much.
Thanks for the help! I had a popping/crackle sound coming from the speaker of my S20 every time sound started playing or someone spoke on a call. I removed the case, cleaned my phone, opened the sim card slot, blew in all the holes and restarted and it stopped 😀
Thank you so much for this video. I just came back to Arlington, Texas from Estes Park, Colorado. My phone speaker produced nothing but static noises. This video is an absolute lifesaver!
Thank you sooooooooooo much. I have the S22+ and I was having this issue, but I did this, and it fixed it instantly, definitely gained me as a subscriber. I appreciate you.
I dropped my phone in the bathtub and the crackling sound started. I thought maybe the salt and whatever was in the bathbombs corroded something. This totally fixed it. Thank you so much!!!!!!!
Thanks for this! My wife's phone was making the crackling sounds and the only thing I thought it could be was dust or moisture. I tried all the sound videos for cleaning phone speakers. But then I found this and it worked! It must have been from being in the Yellowstone and Montana mountain area recently.
Glad that this video was able to help you out. The same exact thing happened to my wife's phone which is the one in the video. We were driving near Breckenridge in Colorado and it happened twice so at least now you know this will work out for you when going into areas with a similar rise in pressure.
Brother, you almost saved me from a mini heart attack!😆 My phone made this sound after a splash of water on the earpiece. For an instance I thought I messed up with the phone. And now after your video, that's normal now. Thanks a ton!
3 weeks of trouble shooting fixed in15 minutes. Thanky you. Your treatment worked on Samsung 23 plus. You know how good it feels to have an anyoing problem, Your hands on works a treat. Also my muxzzled speakers issue was not due to elevation. I now belive it was a unseated sim card. As this is around the time of the beging of the problem. Still the pure fact you talked about the gasket I immediatley removed the sim and a low cool dryer blow. As I am writtting this the issue seems repaired.
Hello W.I.H, it is exactly what happen to my S22. After I came back from Denver to San Francisco. You are right on the money. Once I push out the SIM card, sound return. Thanks a million.
Thank you so much! I visited Guatemala, came home, two weeks later my speakers were crackling on my Galaxy A53.. With your advice, removed sim...presto!! Back to normal! Thanks again friend!
i never comment either and the first time i did is here and for the first time i read alot of comments and replied on alot, this guy deserves alot of prayers from us
This video is so much helpful...I went to high altitude mountain area Uttarakhand, India and my almost new s21 fe starting making this crackling sound !
My friend you are an angel coming from the sky, thank you so much for your video, I'm living in Canada and i bought my Samsung S23 FE 2 months ago and this problem was a nightmare. And know my sound is back
Saved my phone with the Sim card trick. My top speaker was crackling after I (stupidly) dropped my phone in my oil pan during a change. Thought my speaker was done after getting saturated. Popped out the Sim card. Good as new!
Thank you so much. I had only recently bought this phone on eBay and had no guarantee, so was panicking. Your video did the trick for me. You are a genius.
Brilliant! I had recently flown, and this happened to me. My techy husband was convinced it was a blown speaker, but this fixed it instantly! :) Thank you!
spent the whole day with really tough lot of phone calls with yelling and asking them to yell and change places and then eventually resetting my phone and blowing in all the speakers and everything
I went on a bike ride in the freezing cold and exactly the same happened when the phone transition from warm house to freezing cold and back to the warm house, initially the sound was cracking like crazy.
thanks so much sir, i thought i paid 1500+ dollars and damaged my phone in 3 days, was upset the whole day even rest my phone but didnt work, you are a life saver truly
@@WIHRC LOL yes we are below sea, I noticed this week when I was in Medellin Colombia which is 6000 feet high, it got worst so yeah for sure that will affect it more. So the explanation is that I guess it builds pressure inside since it is water resistent is builded more right? It is the first time this happends to me with a phone.
I believe you're right. I forgot that in order to make the phone water resistant they have to pressurize it. I never sat down and thought about it but you just solved the case that's why this is happening. At least now we know there's a solution.
Wow.... I d8id not have any cold or altitude, I live in Florida and this has been an issue with my phone on and off for weeks now but it within the last few days has been constant, I was ready to buy a new phone you really saved my ass here just like the vid the literal instant I unplugged it on my s22+ it immediately fixed thanks so much you just saved me 500 dollars :D
my s23u is barely 2mos old.... never had issues like this on my previous ultra sonibwas at the beach and video recording while i am singing lol.... imagine how i freaked out... thank you for doing this man! youbare a gift to the world!
@@WIHRC i dont have... what i am suspecting is i put a skin...on top of it is the plastic screen protector for the back... and the case, your option worked but then earlier i was at the beach again and it happened again, and i didnt have the sim ejector with me, i removed the case...it started to be normal again.... but when i cameback to the cottage i had to remove the sim tray again just to be sure.... so my plan is to leave the skin, remove the plastic, then probably change the case too...
Ahh I see. I guess the problem stems from there being some kind of air gap on the back of the device or multiple air gaps around the device that are being covered but Samsung has not detailed in any documents. Funny enough I did see an article where they stated that certain accessories might degrade the performance of the device but back cover skins as well as camera lens protectors we're not amongst the kinds of accessories they mentioned.
@WIH_R_C this only provides temporary relief, and this is on my s23 ultra. I've had it sent back multiple times, but they can't find anything wrong with the phone? What else can I do. Its been this way since I brought it 6 months ago or so x
I am extremely appreciative of your video, thank you!. I just did exactly what you suggested and sure enough; it worked perfectly. Although I don't live at a high altitude, I fly often, and that is likely the reason for the issue. Again, thank you!...extremely grateful.

I'm really glad this worked out for you. Hoping this is something Samsung is aware of and will fix with the next series of devices.
I can tell you that Verizon has no clue about this fix!
Just went sking and thought that my phone speakers were blown out. You are such a life saver man thank you!!!

I purchased a S24 second hand and the speaker sounded like yours. Thank you so much for this!
S22+ here. Same issue and yes I believe you are definitely right about pressure. Noticed this whenever I drove a long distance.
Right on brother! No fluff, just knowledge.

I've had this exact problem, when traveling to lower elevations, and removing the SIM trap worked. Problem is that I have the phone in an Otterbox case and removing it each time this happens is a pain. I wonder if I could remove the SIM drawer gasket.
Thanks for sharing. This is an interesting problem to have overall.

I feel your pain with the Otterbein. I've had to take my fair share of them off back in the day.
You CAN most likely remove the gasket but I guess it depends on how important water resistance is to you.
Let me know what you decide.
You are a life saver. I've just landed ✈ and phone was distorted. Thank you 🙏
Glad this workouts for you
