The kids still will have to have a relationship with their parents even if each of them move on and get new partners. So a minimum of communication is required because no matter the format, because of their kids they are a family. If the parents can't make it work it's not the kids fault because they didn't ask to be born at first place. Mariage just like parenthood is a lost of responsibility and unselfishness. @@serpente300 Being divorced with and without kids isn't the same. Specially when the kids has a good relationship with both parents. The kids still will have to have a relationship with their parents even if each of them move on and get new partners. So a minimum of communication is required because no matter the format, because of their kids they are a family. If the parents can't make it work it's not the kids fault because they didn't ask to be born at first place. Mariage just like parenthood is a lost of responsibility and unselfishness. If a couple is not ready for that well they shouldn't step forward.
