    What is your dynamic warmup routine? Those stretches for your hips look good I have problems with my hips

    • @RiqB
      @RiqB  11 месяцев назад

      Its composed of isos, dynamic stretches, and skips. You might need to work on your hip flexibility with static stretches

  • @laimai6103

    Underrated advice but try to dorsiflex your foot on your penultimate steps and planear flex them when you sprint. You should be running on your midfoot/balls of feet and jumping(last 2 steps) of your heels/bottom foot area.

    • @_johndutra
      @_johndutra 11 месяцев назад

      could you elaborate pls? i kind of understand

    • @laimai6103
      @laimai6103 11 месяцев назад +1

      @_johndutra Basically
      For 1 and 2 foot its the same principle. When you run you run on the balls of your feet(right under your toes) your heels should never touch the ground.
      Then you translate that speed to vertical power, by jumping of your heel(bottom of your foot) when you do your penultimate steps.
      That's what people mean when they say you have to run into your jump and it has to be smooth.
      If you do that you'll be able to utilize speed to increase your vertical.

    Im dealing with knee pain like you did for the last few months. I’ve recently cut jumping and started doing rehab exercises. How long should I rest until I know I can jump and do phase 4 exercises?

    • @RiqB
      @RiqB  11 месяцев назад

      It took my 3 months to get back. So it's about how you feel and if you feel like youre ready. Don't go straight to phase 4. Go from isos to slow movements to energy storage to energy release to both energy storage and release then back to sport. Go light every time you enter a new phase and build up

    • @matthewkwok12r42
      @matthewkwok12r42 11 месяцев назад

      @@RiqBwhen you say energy storage to energy release, are you referring to slow squats, eccentric squats and half squats?
