I was so happily surprised with this area of Bangalore airport! They even had someone playing music when I flew in last year. P.S. I personally found Australia a bit not worth the hype and the long journey (apart from the weather and a trip to the Great Barrier Reef) but maybe my expectations were too high, I just didn't feel like it was that different from places I've been in Europe and Asia.

Such a nice review. I always feel happy to see KIA compared to several other airports in India. The way KIA evolved over the last 6 years (since I moved to Bangalore) is just awesome. Always very neatly maintained, calm and hygienic areas esp toilets, water points. Its not so choatic compared to Mumbai or Delhi airports. Both Domestic and International lounges are very very good. Even I feel people once enter into this behave automatically calm by looking at others. Security checkin area people are well mannered. Food stalls outside and inside the airport are really tasty
As much as I love the Bengaluru Airport, it's sooo far away from the city, that sometimes, funnily enough, the cab fares are more than the actual flight tickets XD But the airport sure has a vibe!
Wish that the rest of Bengaluru looked like airport🙄 many inner city areas desperately need a makeover. They should just demolish shabby areas and build new and make green and good shopping like Airport
Have you been to Church Street book shops, Ivana? I happened to go there yesterday. Experience was so good, lots of eateries on both sides, quaint space to just walk and be thankful for being alive. Walking around with slight drizzle is divine. Your videos are real inspiration for me to enjoy every moment . Never buy books online unless you can't find out whether it's available in church street. You can exchange your old books at a good price. Covid has taught us so much

Thanks for the video. It's been months since I arrived there. The Bangalore airport is one of the nicest ones in India and so much better than the old airport it replaced. I usually get out of the airport as quickly as possible as for whatever reason it's usually late when I get there and I just want to sleep. I definately grab a coffee. I ate there once and it was not too bad but I was getting ready to fly so I was not very relaxed. I am more of a street food guy, and like the variety and atmosphere in the city more. If I do want a change I prefer to fly somewhere or grab a train. I understand whi it may be a nice day out for some people. The gardens on the roads around' the airport are amazing
