Thanks so much man, I’m trying ha! I feel I have to battle myself a bit when I try to record myself. I immediately start overthink and making more mistakes! I also think I play better to music than without, playing along to a rhythm and melody seems more nature and takes some pressure off. Cheers 🎸
Thanks man, I appreciate the comment! Yea, I have been really practicing this style a lot over the last couple of years. Slash was always an influence on me but I was definitely into Stevie Ray Vaughan and Clapton for quite a while, which helps with getting that bluesy vibe that slash gets. Been spending a lot of time practicing vibrato and different types of bends (half step bends, two and 3 fret bends etc). Its taken a while to start getting a handle on slash legato style. Have watched Tons of gsharp, Laszlo, and Jakob slash, those guys really nail the style with lots of feel. always so much to improve on!
Thanks man! I tried recording a bunch of stuff last night but started making mistakes ha. Sometimes when I’m just playing licks I just have to leave it recording and try and forget that I’m “performing”. It’s such a psychological thing for me. But yea, I’m digging the kemper. I’ll post more once I capture something acceptable ha
I understand! It’s been a work in progress for me too! I could already play the blues pretty well (more Clapton / SRVish style) but wanted to go in a more slash like direction. Tons of overlap in those styles but slash has those trademark patterns. Keep at it! I’m still working on it too ! 👍🏼🎸
@@Slash1066 I haven’t really yet but have had maybe 3 or 4 people ask me recently. That is partly what motivated me to make the lesson videos. I am open to it but it’s just a question of making it happen I guess. I’m not a pro and I don’t know lots of theory, if that matters to you.
Not really. I have an account I made at some point just so I could look at things of interest but I don’t use it as of now. Do you post on there a lot?
@@jonasmusic2112 cool, send me your link and I’ll check it out. I’m not much of a social media user but IG is pretty cool. My wife has been using for a long time.

Wow… So cool!! It's definitely a Slash sound. I think it's not just the amp, but your playing style that produces this sound. Well done!!!👍🎸🎩🤘
