HAIR COLOUR:
I dye my own hair at home using L'oreal casting creme gloss 360 (black cherry). Please bear in mind that this is a semi permanent dye and I don't use it regularly, when freshly applied it is BLACK!! If my hair is lighter it is extremely faded and i'm probably due a colour so what you're then seeing is mainly my natural hair colour which is a reddish medium brown.
SKIN TYPE/COLOUR
I'm 36 and my skin is normal with a slightly oily t zone and early signs of aging like fine lines as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I DO NOT use fake tan, I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have olive skin. My face is often a LOT lighter than my body because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!
My Necklace:
I get sooooo many questions about it, I'm so sorry it's not a happy answer! Its actually 2 necklaces together, and both were gifts so I don't have much detail, here is everything my hubby can remember! The larger disc and the chain were from Azendi, it has a picture of the moon and reads "The same moon around the world" (which is something that meant a lot to us when we first met and he was travelling with work A LOT). The smaller discs were from www.notonthehighstreet.com and they have my daughter's fingerprints and name and date of birth and they were a present when she was born. They don't seem to be available anymore I'm sorry!!

I’m so happy you were able to get the palette early!!! This is my dream palette. My skin is very cool toned so shadows like this look so good on me. I know a lot of people don’t like cool tones but I love them, especially grey eyeshadow. It just looks so flattering on me whereas warm toned shadows look quite odd. I think warm tones are gorgeous but they almost clash with my skin. I’ve been trying to talk myself out of buying this palette because the last thing I need is another eyeshadow palette but after seeing your review I can’t help myself lol. Me too, I try here and there to do warm tones because that's pretty much what everyone shows all the time, but I regret it everytime. It just doesnt look right on me.

This colour story is so pretty. I am so excited to see cool tones instead of warm and red shades. The palette actually looks much smaller than I expected. The last look, the one you wore for most of the video is my favourite 🤩PS: Love that nail colour.

I have taken the plunge and ordered the Glam and Bronze. I really wanted the Biba but feel that with both of these I would have most of the tones in Biba and get two palettes for the same price as Biba.

Thanks for comparing it to the Sultry palette, I thought the same thing that the colors are similar, ND is more gray where Sultry is more golden bronze, the palette is very nice and I love cool tones as well but I will not spend the money on it. Thanks for the looks, I will see what I have that's close to replicate.

With the names, what this shows to me is that she was thinking about her regular consumers and not YT content creators or influencers. She was trying to take the guess work out for people who maybe aren't makeup experts or for people who just want a beautiful look without figuring out color schemes. I appreciate the thought into it, and of course no one actually has to follow recommended layout. Maybe what she could have done is given the shades actual names an then put the recommended layout on a clear plastic sheet like she does for her bigger palettes.

Nice! You are the first review I've seen. To me there is a slight similarity between Glam and ABH but I prefer the ND formula. I can't wait to get this in my hands. Love how this looks on your eyes. STUNNING!

I think everyone is so used to neutral or warm transition shades that the gray threw them off, but it's very pretty.

n@Charlotte Holdcroft The whole palette has that one transition shade. I guess it's not meant for dark skinned people because it's far from wearable for us. But i guess u can use whatever color u want as a transition / That shade is chalk on me , lol...... but anyway I dont like her formulas so I am good

Most people buy makeup for personal use and almost never share their makeup. These names make it super easy for the average person, especially for those who struggle with "what to do" with larger palletts.

Hi Charlotte, I think this palette goes better with Biba or Safari. Those are the perfect companion palettes. First, they both have cool tones and are mostly if not all matte palettes. I plan on buying all three of them. 😁 💜 The bronze is too repetitive and not on my wish list. Sorry. 😁 💜

Thanks for the thorough review...This is actually going to be an easy pass for me, for now. Toooooo many shimmers, and not enough mattes. Also I need a bit of warmth. If I had this one and Bronze, I'd combine the most used ones of the 2 (for me) into one palette (and then I wouldn't need my Biba). Hmmm....just gave myself an idea.......
I think it looks nice.. I guess I am overwhelmed with eye shadow palettes...I prefer the glittery block party eye shadows I have from Dose of Colors... I just don't like cool tones enough to justify this purchase. I don't even use the grey tones in my Biba or any other palettes much. I have several silvery tone in MAC dazzle shadows and others.. they are just no my go to shades.. but I am happy for the ladies who's complexions can hold these looks... :-)

May I just add some extra info? The eyeshadows can be popped out and placed differently according to each shade function to suit various skin tones. It’s on NDs insta story. She has pictures of three different layouts according to light, medium and dark skin tones

Playing devils advocate here, but it feels like ND has created palette for the everyday consumer, as opposed to make up artists and beauty gurus. For a make up novice, the names could be really helpful. You can move the pans around if the layout doesn't work for your skin tone, which is probably what I would do if I bought it. Yes, it may be annoying for RUclipsrs when reviewing it as the shade names are repetitive, however I don't think ND created it just to be reviewed. It's an interesting experiment however judging from the reactions of other make up reviewers, it could have backfired on them which is a shame.

This palette looks gorgeous on you. I’ve ordered the palette and it will be arriving at my home in a few days. I can’t wait to get it and try it on. I would wear this palette during the dat but that’s just me. 🙃 Sometimes I get stuck trying to pick shades that go together. This takes all the guess work away and I can just enjoy the makeup. Soon as I saw a 20 second add from Natasha Denona's channel, I wanted this palette straight away, looked up on Google when the release date was in Ireland it said 23rd, I was bummed, until I saw underneath Selfridges UK already had it so did not hesitate bought it and and also the ABH Sultry Palette ae had been watching a good few declutter vids and nobody was throwing that one away so bought that too and the new Charlotte Tilbury lip glosses. Comes on Monday cannot wait, these colours are so my jam, had the mini glam palette and have use the shit out of it.
I enjoy your videos even with a completely different complexion. I have this palette and I’m surprised how much I enjoy it. I sometimes work with her other palettes for a look and I can’t use the shadows as the palette is outlined but I do enjoy it as much as the bronze and the sunset...all of them 😂

I recently purchased this palette & I really love the way the shadows so easily apply over my mature eyes imperfections. However, I found the glittery shadows did not last long at all.
Does anyone else wish she would’ve named it something different? I feel like glam is over done. If it were up to me, I would have named it the storm palette or something a little more Icy. Maybe the glacier palette. Please comment what you would name it if you had the choice. I love naming things and would love to hear everyone’s thoughts.

All the you tubers upset there are shades with the same name because it’s messing up their tutorials. Don’t forget this was designed for real people to use at home. I think the naming is an excellent idea and very functional for the average person using this on an everyday basis. Made up creative names add nothing to the palette.
Sultry is one of my least used palettes so I don’t think I would use this one often either. I don’t often go for glam nights out. It looks beautify though. Well done on sneaking an early release.
hi Charlotte i have been pondering should i should i not and i have just bout it on the 4 th july i know its taken me an age , but i bought the Biba and i hated it so much i just gave it away to my niece within two days , i bought the mini and didn’t like that either so i thought well just buy it ! and i bought the chanel cream bronzer too why not just buy what you want ! My chanel has arrived and yes i love it , but my palette has not arrived yet ! i love cool tones ! stunning looks thank you charlotte !
