Conan, I know you’re still young and flexible but you need a mitre saw stand. Ryobi has a nice one, catch it on sale for $99.00 No more kneeling down, you have your supports on each side so you’re not fighting to keep it level. It folds up so you could store it, even inside the camper. I know you’re a sharp guy and surely know it like most people do, but for some reason, never work comfortably. Second tip, if it’s in you budget, get an impact drill, Black Friday specials, very reasonable. If you buy Ridgid, register it properly, lifetime warranty on tool and battery. I’ve owned them for over 20 years. Putting in screws is 10 times easier, trust me, been using tools over 50 years. Many times Like now, just looked up Black Friday deals. Ridgid at Home Depot you get the drill, impact, two batteries and a charger for, drum roll, $99.00. Normally, just two batteries cost that much. I’ve only had 2-3 tool failures over 20 years, they repaired 2 of them, sent me a check for $299.00 for a tool they couldn’t fix, and no substitute since I have every tool they make, (almost) enjoy
I know, I know. I actually usually use my saw horses to support the miter saw, but there was a bunch of junk on them and I didn't feel like moving everything. And an impact driver has been on my list of tools to get for about as long as I've had a drill. I was sort of waiting for my batteries to need replacing to get a combo kit like you suggested specifically because of how much you save buying it together.
I've been watching for a while on your 68 play-mor build for inspiration on my recent purchase of my 70 play-mor. It's a close design but without a drop floor entry. It also has a slight exterior curve inward to the front to almost mirror to the back that curves outward. Thanks for so many videos to help guide my way with my own adventure. You should turn your videos and information into a book. Sell shirts, coffee cups & other merchandise for self promotional.
Sounds like you've got maybe a model 150 or 160. The Play-Mor campers were really very nice in use and have a number of pretty smart design choices. Have fun with yours and thanks for watching!
Well they probably know that it goes without saying that your personal integrity would never allow you to accept sponsorships. Me on the other hand... :)

Great job on EVERYTHING, keep up the good work!!
Thanks! I'm looking forward to making it through the holidays and having time to work on the camper a bit more.
The cabinets on my 57 trotwood were attached from the inside out from the factory. Has worked well this long so I put them back like that.
Yup, there's a lot of variation in construction methods, and I've always said just put it back the way you found it!
Thanks for the tip on the mattress company. I've been looking for someone like that.
I had actually been looking at getting a mattress from them before they ever contacted me, and sponsored or not, I do really like their mattresses!
@@TrailerTrashtoTreasure Funny that no one ever contacts me about any of this stuff. I pay for everything. Nothing is given to me.

I am excited to see the CalCraft coming together again!
Me too! Thanks for watching!
Very well done. Yes you have some great tools to help you, but you are really getting good and better on these great old trailers. Thanks for sharing.
Ha ha, thanks. I keep thinking that maybe when I've done my sixth or seventh camper I'll feel confident in what I'm doing, lol!
