Oh my, it looked like a terrible run, especially with all with the snow cannons and narrow passages. It was like everything was happening at the same time 😀 Is it even a dedicated piste or more like a road for snow vehicles?
I love your Zermatt videos and can’t wait to see that place myself in a couple of weeks. Quick question. Where did you get then sticker that shows speed and grade? I’m can’t see that selection of stickers in my Gprpo 10. Thanks.
Well, that was a sucky run with which to end the year's really great videos. Hope that person who took out that fence didn't get injured. In any event, Happy New Year and I hope 2024's skiing is both adventurous and safe. Looking forward to the new runs.
I was going to say I’ve never seen snow cannons there, then realised this is early season. That piste is always a bit of a rush hour at the end of the day but it’s nice to have the choice to ski home via the Hennu Stall for a gluhwein. Look forward to more videos in 2024 😎
Did Zermatt early Jan one year. That track home was hilarious at the end of day, low light and as I'm very short-sighted, had to keep my prescription dark sunglasses on.
Great video! Harsh and icy piste, merely a piece of ice from beginning to end. But a beautiful scenery to compensate for that. I´ll be enjoying the pistes of Saas-Fee from 12th to 15th of january. Have a great new years eve 👋✨✳✴❇

Yes, it's a dedicated piste but early season, so they didn't open it yet....

Have a great time in Zermatt, the guages come from virb edit, check it out, it's free...
Is Virb compatible with GoPro?
@jtmet5 yes, you have to extract the GPS data into virb edit format... goprotelemetryextractor.com/free/
@@ChasingSnow thank you!!!

The person who took out the fence was my glove, it got stuck as I was entering :-) happy new year to you too...

Cheers! Much more to come in 2024...
Well that was a gnarly descent. Were they making snow on the closed red run? If it was closed how come people were still able to ski down it?
It's closed, you can still ski down it but at your own risk, it's not patrolled... rules are different in the US I believe...
A ski safari so to speak. Going by the sound only the last bit by the stream sounded none icy and had a soft purr like on powder.
I was pretty much ice all the way, except maybe the end, as you mentioned...
The spirit of the guy extending a pole to the snowboarder to pull him over the hump is gonna be my 2024!
Haha, yes, share some kindness ;-)
SWISS DREAM🇨🇭❄️
Cheers Danilo ;-)

Yes, it gets really busy and with low light... I'm glad you managed to get through :-)

Nice save by orange jacket after the first snow gun 😂
Haha, yes, it was icy...
Gnarly but beautiful! Well worth the effort I'd say.
Yes, I suppose it's all nicely groomed now...
