hey, I'm Felipe Sarro from the recording, but lately I changed my artist name do Luis Kaludin. Would you mind writing about it in the comments? It would help divulging my work and future recordings ;)
D and G are next to each other on the circle of 5ths, therefore they share the most common tones with each other, and it is (subjectively) the easiest, and (subjectively) most pleasant sounding key to modulate to using a common chord modulation.
I just made a new recording of this same sonata in my new grand piano (I'm Felipe Sarro, then changed my name twice: to Luis Sarro and now Luis Kolodin).
@Zacattack Kolodin is RUSSIAN, and there are lots of Russian pianists in my family. But this is simply my artistic name, since I myself don't have this surname my own (my sister has though).
that's because I used ANOTHER EDITION of this keyboard sonata. Sincerely, I'm quite sad about listeners whose purpose is to check if all notes are played flautlessly, since this is not the real intention of playing and listening to music. There is much more to say than occasional slips, one should not even notice such a thing if deeply immersed in the musical sound experience.
@@LuisKolodin I actually quite like the playing. (I see that you are the performer from the comments.) I just like to read along with the sheets while listening, and I noticed that the sheets were different from the audio (and any other sheets I've seen). I also know students use these kinds of videos for reference a lot, so I thought it would be nice to them to point out the inconsistencies.

Dang I played this in high school for competition - but DEFINITELY not this fast or delicately. Absolutely Lovely!
I like the sneaky way it switches from g major to d major then back to g with ease.

It's a sonata, so it follows the sonata form, which means most pieces in major will modulate to the dominant key for the 2nd theme.
@@matcoddy6097 Yup, modulation
That is called sonata form

Call it what you like, it's still sneaky.
perfect speed very expressive ,just how I would aim to play it
Bravo! A wonderful and joyful piece
At 4:23 on bar 7 I hear a G natural on the 3rd 8th note triplet on the 1st beat. Not A natural ? Wich one is good the sheet music or audio?
Душу отвожу на этой сонате👍
lovely delicate playing
I just made a recent new recording of it in my grand piano. I'm Felipe Sarro who once played it on a Grotrian Steinweg Concertino upright.

At what speed is this song being played? What number would you set on the metronome?
It says allegro.. so it would be best to play it over 120 bpm

Luis Kolodin Did you revise your rhythms in bars 2 and 22?
Hey,I am Brownson very good😆😆😆
In measure 8, that should be a B, not a D.
My score has a B, and the pianist playing here plays a B.
Measure 21 is a bit weird too.

@@Garrett_Rowland it's okay! The thing is... I'd rather people dislike my performance for some musical reason rather than being note-picky! hehehe
There a page missing? The second page looks nothing like it sounds.
I play it somewhat slower !
