My son just turned 4 a couple days ago, we got him this game & he loves it!! Him and his older brother play together, glad to see they're giving any kind of updates 😃 great game for kids

If there's a list for Most Unexpectedly Fun or Most Surprisingly Good Games of 2023, Disney's Illusion Island would easily be on said list. The game looked good in the trailers but actually playing it, D'sII turned out to be alot more fun than expected, like a combination of Classic-style Mario & Rayman games.
Just got this game today. Glad theyre supporting it.
It's December, Disney Illusion Island came out in July. Is this stillworth it to buy? That update looks really NICE! 😊❤
it is a couchcoop jump and run. there is no "Still worth to buy it". For me it was worth it than and now 🙂

Wait for a sale....it's a 3 hour long game.
It's a really good "my first metroid like" to play with someone who's not very familiar with video games (or a child). It's very enjoyable, but don't expect a tough challenge.
I played it with my nephews who are 6 and 8 and they loved it. The best part is players can drop a rope to help others climb on jumps which are too hard.

Gosh this games a whole bunch of fun playing with friends n family, it makes me heaps miss Castle of Illusion, that game is so awesome and would LOVE to play that again on the Switch

Speaking of Illusion games starring Mickey Mouse, THE ILLUSION TRILOGY FOR THE GAME GEAR/SEGA MASTER SYSTEM DESERVES A LOT OF LOVE!
ONE OF THE GREATEST GAMING EXPERIENCES A LOT OF PEOPLE HAD AS CHILDREN, MYSELF INCLUDED... LAND OF ILLUSION AND LEGEND OF ILLUSION DESERVE REMAKES. HIRE SEGA TO DEVELOP ON THIS ART STYLE SO DISNEY CAN PUBLISH!
I feel like Disney may try to compile them into a classic collection like the Disney Classic Games collection. Maybe, they would throw in the Game Gear games for good measure.
Except ‘Castle of Illusion’ on easy mode where you give the witch the diamonds and she lets you access the ending early without a final battle (transactional in the same way as a prostitute)

Does it play exactly like Rayman Legends?
Nope.
No, not at all. There's no dash, nor are there other ways to build momentum. Movement is extremely simplistic. This does make it quite relaxing to play, though. Although it feels weird to do time trials in a game with so little tech.

I'd like the characters bigger. I don't like how small they are. It's not good for my eye strain and most people I'm sure would agree on that. The eye strain from cell phones and video games is already bad enough. Games need to be very clear and easy to see the characters or it makes people squint too much.
