this game just gives me lbp vibes. the crafty art style, the soothing voice of the narrator, it all just gives me that feeling.

Echoes of Wisdom. Same basic map but much more expansive

@@SonicSpeedaholic And? Your point is moot. It's still a mainline Zelda in the Hyrule of ALTTP/ALBW, but the map has expanded w new areas and shifted locations. Gameplay is not the focus of my comment; it's the map.
Also, putting it before ALBW would be not make as much sense since the map would be crunched back down between games

I have been waiting for this for around two years. This trailers makes me even more anxious to get it. It does look like there are some frame rate drops during combat. Hopefully that is all there is. Still looks great. I'll definitely be getting the physical version of it, whenever it gets released, also.

Wow, how creative! Would be even more amazing if it had other pop culture toys lines and video game characters, and took place in the 80’s, exploring a bedroom (like this), arcade, mall, rainy street, etc.

The narrator for this reminds me of the one from Kirby's Epic Yarn
I only just noticed that his sword is the metal tip of a fountain pen. That is such a fitting detail.

They’re doing the 3D to 2D transitions soooo well 😮 that was one of my favorite parts of Super Mario Odyssey but this looks like a whole other level

Looks very promising! I'm a slightly bothered by how the rocket clips through Jot, and how cumbersome it generally looks when Jot is just walking around. It'd be better if there was an animation of him taking the rocket out when he needs it. Or maybe the rocket could pop out of a backpack, Kazooie-style.
This, Zelda and Astro Bot are my three most anticipated titles for the rest of this year

I'm hoping the Switch port will be good
I'm thinking this was actual Switch gameplay footage. I noticed some differences in the graphics and there did look to be momentary frame rate drops in a few of the combat sections. Nothing that I can't look past, as long as that is the worst of it. I'm a little concerned myself, but they have had plenty of time to work on it. Hopefully this is actual Switch footage.
The switch version is the only version that will sell, this game will flop on other platforms.
@@mr_m4613 why do you say that? I know people with PS5 and PCs that are very much looking forward to this coming out. There has been a lot of buzz around this game since it's announcement two years ago, across the platforms. Outside of Silksong it is the indie game that everyone keeps asking for a launch date. Go look at any platform's showcases and you will see people asking, "Why no Plucky Squire?" It has consistently been in the top 100 wishlist on Steam for two years and was at the top for quite a while. Once a date it set it will jump back up. The only way it flops is if the game doesn't deliver on what it looks to be. That is possible of course; but if the game is good, it will sell in all platforms well. Will Switch have the most sales? Well, yeah! That's because there simply is more of them. I mean there is more Switch consoles than PS5 and Xbox Series X/S combined...by tens of millions. So, of course it will sell the best there. That could be said about basically any cross platform game for the same reason. In comparison to number of consoles, it should do well with each.
My type of game, I love platformers, especially these cozy one's, one to relax to but one that looks fun as well, a definite must buy for me.
Nice to see more of this game for the first time in a couple years. Hope it doesn’t take as long for a release date.
