Hi, just found your vids! The Dell 7710 and the HP Pavilion you reviewed are my 2 choices to replace my beloved Dell XPS 2720 which I have luuuuved for 8+ years now! Which of these 2 do you recommend and why please and thanks :)
Just clone your existing boot drive to your new 2280 form factor m.2 ssd. (Can use macrium reflect home) And you're done. Also remember the maximum supported storage by m.2 ssd is 1TB while for the sata ones it's 2TB
Can you change the video card on this item and is there an additional fan you can install to help with heat dissipation? And what ram stick would you recommend at 32gb
No you can't change the graphics card. It has integrated gpu on the motherboard. Also I don't think you can install an additional fan. You can install two 16gig 3200mhz DDR4 they'll help with dual channel config. also since the maximum supported capacity is 32 gig.
Thanks for your info on the Dell 7710. Sadly due to a problem, I am having to return it. I wondered if there was an easy way to remove the stands before I repackage it? Any help would be gratefully received.
You can either put a 2.5 inch hdd (they're generally called laptop hdd's) or a sata ssd (sata ssd's only come in 2.5inch form factors). The maximum supported capacity for those drives is 2TB while for the m.2 NVMe ssd it's 1TB. Also the maximum supported memory is 32gigs 3200mhz
STILL WAITING :: HOOVER VACUUM HELP PLEASE ? I OBVIOUSLY REWIRED WRONG, BECAUSE MOTOR NOT SUCKING ANYMORE. JUST BRUSH TURNING NOW. CAN U TELL ME THE WIRING LOCATION COLORS IN OFF/ON SWITCH , I DIDN'T LOOK CLOSELY WHEN DISASSEMBLING. U HAVE the MAIN POWER ON/OFF SWITCH (LARGE) and the BRUSH OFF/ON SWITCH (SMALL). CAN YOU GIVE ME the 2 COLORS TO MAIN POWER SWITCH, and the 2 COLORS TO BRUSH SWITCH. THANKS YOUR VIDEO: ruclips.net/video/0OQ-vo2kvXg/видео.html

I ended up returning the Dell and I bought the HP... it was just a better product.
Hello, is there a way to upgrade the primary hard drive?
Just replace the M2 NVMe with a bigger capacity of your liking.

It has push buttons underneath. You have to push those while removing the arch stands. They latch when you insert the stands.
How hard is it to replace the screen on this?
is that a normal size cmos battery? have to change mine
So what size HD can you put in there? 2.5 HD or and SSD?

What happens if I break one of the arms of putting in new memory. It still fits in
It will still work but I would not knock it around very much :)
Why would you want to replace the SSD with a spinning platter drive? Did I hear this incorrectly?
That's what i was asking. Will an SSD fit in there?
@@ChrisDJones-bq6iuyes a 2.5 inch sata drive will do
