- 🎉🍲 Welcome to a heartwarming episode where my parents dive spoon-first into the rich and flavorful world of homecooked Filipino food right here in Manila! 🇵🇭👵👴
If you've ever been curious about what to expect when eating in a Filipino home, you're in for a delightful ride! 🏡 Expect an explosion of flavors, a table bursting with dishes, and a warmth that extends beyond the cuisine.
Filipino dishes? They're a symphony of flavors, harmonizing sweet, sour, and savory in a melody that dances on the palate. 🎶🍜 From the hearty Adobo to the comforting Sinigang, each bite tells a story of the islands, the diversity, and the rich history of the Philippines.
And oh, how deeply food is intertwined with Filipino culture! 🌾🤝 It's not just sustenance; it's a reflection of the Filipino spirit of "Bayanihan" (community), where each ingredient, each dish, brings people together in celebration and solidarity. Filipino food is less about the complexity of the dish but more about the complexity and depth of the relationships forged over shared meals. 🥘👫
So, is food important in Filipino culture? Unquestionably! It’s an integral thread in the social fabric, affecting and reflecting the culture in a cyclical manner. 🔄 Through the shared bonds over meals, to the communal efforts in preparation, and the passing down of recipes through generations, Filipino cuisine becomes a timeless tale told over simmering pots and sizzling pans. 🔥
Join us as my parents delve into this flavorful journey, experiencing firsthand the soulful, diverse, and utterly delicious world of Filipino home cooking! 🍽️✨ From their reactions to each dish, to their amazement at the rich, multi-layered flavors found in each bite, it's a reaction video you wouldn't want to miss! #ParentsTryFilipinoFood #HomecookedManila #FilipinoFoodCulture

For some reason I can feel Mike’s happiness through the video. 😊
Aww thats nice to hear :)
It really does ooze out don't it?
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach..an idiomatic expression that is very apparent to the lovely couple, Mike and Grae. He seems so proud to show his parents the cullinary skills and kitchen saviness of his Filipina girlfriend, like, no explanation is needed on the reasons why he fell in love and chose her. ❤
Take good care of each other.
Mike's parents are so cute and adorable! They seem really nice and humble! I hope you all have a great time here in the Philippines making good & fun memories together! 😊
This is such a wonderful vlog Mike & Grae. It warms my heart to see the love and care for your parents. Just noticed your Dad's eyes looking at Grae with approval and thinking that Grae is the one for his son. Love your vlogs, been a follower since Florida.👏👏👏

Welcome to phillipines parents❤️👍🇵🇭
For me, I travelled around the world. While I enjoy the food of each country it offers, my palate always puts Filipino dishes on top of everything. My top 3 are: Sinigang na baboy, Adobong baboy or manok and Karekare. Nothing can beat them. Again, this is my taste buds.
I love both...MANGO JUICE and MANGO SHAKE. When I was a kid , my Father used to bring pure Mango Juice in Plastic Bottles. All 100% natural and fresh.
U look like your mom ❤
your mom is very lovely and sweet. 🩷

Luckily, Grae is such a good homecook. 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌💕😊
I like your parent.
I usually marinate the beef into squeezed calamansi with soy sauce and chopped garlic for at least two hours. Then fry the beef and when soft pour the marinade then add the onions.
Bring them to tagaytay , Baguio , Boracay , El Nido to experience the beauty of Philippines !.
and Batanes😅
All yummmmyyyy.
Wow..I like sisig😋👍👍
treat them at the stateroom of 2Go vessel from Caticlan to Manila
Am Filipino, Never tried sisig with pork brain. I think many Filipinos do not like pigs brain. Never force your parents to eat them. I Love your parents. Greetings from Germany! God bless!
Actually, the pig's brain usually used to make it creamy just clean and cooked it thoroughly, the modern twist is now it was cooked with mayonnaise or egg to replace the pigs brain..
Btw im a youtuber, food vlogger i also, i cook my Version of any dishes 😊 thank you.
@@SirChefsVlogs01 . Even then i still cannot imagine myself eating this. Thanks anyway.God bless!

Filipino foods are unrepresented. I watched almost all International cooking shows and reality shows and its about time that Pinoy foods can be put up there like the same with Japan's. China's,Italians and all.
