It is nice when the drummer gets a solo spot. However with Haruna it is understandable why she has limited solo spots. Every composition for her in Lovebites is a solo in itself. Her percussion skills are truly God Like.
"Whose going to stand out this performance". All of them. Phenomenal band. To play at this speed flawlessly yet so effortless is mesmerizing. Great reaction.

BTW, the band has a new LIVE album "No More Tragedy" to be released on 5 March 2025. "Soldier Stands Solitarily" is the last and 14th track on the main set of this show, to be followed by an encore with 3 songs. Haruna did have an awesome 3-minute solo in the middle of the main set of this concert.
I saw them twice last summer in June, in Milan and Paris. They were fantastic on both occasions and they played SSS too. After the gigs I was chatting and drinking with other fans so I was able thank them briefly as they were leaving in Milan and meet them briefly to say thanks (in Japanese) as they were leaving the venue in Paris Definitely go and see them live if you get the chance this year :)
In the world of heavy metal, metal heads call this song speed metal bliss. Song cranks along at 195 BPM. This was the closing song but they came out and did a 3 song encore. For Fami doing a bass solo recommend Stand and Deliver music video and for Miho bass solo and Haruna drum solo recommend cover of Helloween - Eagle Fly Free Awake Again Live From the Abyss.
I seen them in London on 1st July. Small venue for 600 people. £25.00 for ticket. I was on the front barrier about 4 feet away. Also had a meet and greet. It was an awesome night.
I had the distinct pleasure of seeing them in Dallas last September. Even got a picture standing right between Asami and Miyako. OUTSTANDING show!! Fami and Haruna literally rattle your bones. I only have one gripe. I wish I had five sets of eyes so that I could watch all of them simultaneously!
9:22 Haruna had a full solo earlier in the show…her first dedicated solo spot that I’m aware of. And this year at Tokyo Garden Theatre (to be released 5th March) a slightly different version. This song is many LOVEBITES fans favourite, mine included. To me the only metal song that I would say stands any chance of topping it is Painkiller…and LOVEBITES cover of that masterpiece is at least as good as the original, so they win both ways. Ps, I didn’t mean to come across as visceral as I sounded last reaction (your reply “thanks” was my kinda reply) but LOVEBITES aren’t any other band…they’re the pinnacle and so I think they deserve more in depth background research by any reaction channel, not just yours.
This song is a major crowd pleaser, I saw a lot of footage over the summer of them playing it at concerts and festivals across Europe, Fami was having a blast running around slapping her bass all over the stage. On their set list of songs, they abbreviate this song as "SSS" to shorten it. They usually do an encore, This song "SSS" was the last song before the encore, they came back and played 3 of their best songs to close the show. I saw them in San Francisco in September, it was such a great experience to watch them and can't wait to see them again when they come back, it felt unreal to meet them and watch them perform in person. They have recently started adding a dedicated "Drum Solo" to their set list, just as they also play a Piano Solo in their Japan sets. At least on their next live video release, they will have a 2 minute or so drum solo on top of 20 songs from the Tokyo Garden Theater.
I have favorite feet of fury!! Ok group, let's all move our feet along with Haruna!!🤣 I saw them in Atlanta in September. I wish I could share pictures and videos here from that show.
I caught a Miyako pick in San Francisco (truthfully my wife did) when I was standing about six feet away from her doing her thing last year. It is a treasure. lol I gave them wristbands after the show that I’d made as fan merch free giveaways, and Miyako said it was “Kawaii”. I was smiling inside for a few months! LOVEBITES are a top ten band ever for me, and I’m way old.
“Who’s going to stand out in this one?” Yes. They all get a moment! Haruna has a killer solo right before Stand and Deliver. If you search Haruna solo Stand and Deliver you should get it. It’s a pretty poor quality video, but good enough to really enjoy it. I love seeing her feet going a million miles an hour in this a couple of times, and her happily singing along. She doesn’t get as much time on screen sometimes.
I saw them live in Milan and let me tell you, it was the one of the if not THE best concerts I’ve ever attended and especially when they played this… oh my God.. phenomenal.
"Memorial For The Warrior Souls" is the title of the Live DVD/Blu Ray/CD of this concert. This song is the closing of the main part before encor. The live disc also contain a track of Haruna's drum solo for 2 minutes. The audience at the concert had already enjoyed the drum solo before this song.
"Soldier Stands Solitarily" is one of my five favourite songs by Lovebites! I was lucky to see them twice on their European tour last summer (in Belgium and Germany) and also had bought the upgrade for the meet & greet after these concerts. As someone else already mentioned, at the concert this song is taken from, Haruna had a solo slot before the song "Stand and Deliver" - it was her first one, at least at any concert released on DVD/Bluray thus far. You also find a clip with this solo and "Stand and Deliver" here on YT, but it seems to be from the original (unedited) live-stream of this concert. For a short bass and solo part similar to this clip, I second the recommendation of Lovebites' Helloween-cover "Eagle Fly Free" which others have already suggested in their comments. For an impressive excellent drum/percussion solo/duo/duell by two percussionists, yet from a totally different musical genre (classical Persian music), I recommend the one which starts 8 minutes and 12 seconds into the following clip: ruclips.net/video/1ib42YscG44/видео.html It lasts 8 minutes, but it never gets boring. The all-female ensemble from is called Avaye Doust and they are from Iran - I had the pleasure to see them live in Germany several years ago. This is just a suggestion to watch on your own. The same goes for the following two metal songs with IMO very enjoyable bass solos, namely "Metalshock" by Flotsam and Jetsam: ruclips.net/video/65pmKXWjA2A/видео.html (that's how Jason Newstead sounded before he joined Metallica in 1986) and "Masque of the Red Death" by Hades: ruclips.net/video/Y7kJ4PHak_c/видео.html
I've never been massively into classic/power metal like this, but I saw them in London last year and it was the musical highlight of the year for me (and I go to a lot of concerts). Now I listen to them all the time
I strongly urge you to listen to the studio version of this. During Haruna's mini-solo, she is working some pure magic with those cymbals, but it is muddied in the live mix, so you can't really hear it. In the studio version, it is all crystal clear!
Saw them in Dallas 9-8-24 the day before my birthday. A fantastic birthday present to myself. One of the best shows I've been to in years. Maybe ever!!!
This was the initial closer with the encore to follow. If memory serves - Haruna had already done a solo earlier. A killer track. Yes I saw them live 6 months ago 🤗😃. 🤘🤘🤘🤘👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
"Recently live": Most of us may have seen them live in Europe (mid June to early July) or US (early September) or Japan (September 1st) (or Korea) just last summer 2024. It was the first so-called world tour and the first outside Japan after the pandemic.

Welcome back to LOVEBITES! We missed you, even though it was just a few days! Hope the New Year is good to you! :) "Soldier Stands Solitarily" is the "non plus ultra" of total full-band exertion, and the fact that they use to play this toward the end (if not the VERY end) of their latest shows, makes the feat even more impressive! The LOVEBITES girls themselves acknowledge that, even by their standards, they have created a monster track here. Do treat yourself to this bit from "watch party" for the premiere of their latest "Judgement Day" LP: ruclips.net/video/jeL6FHQ01V4/видео.html . You will not only see the band members casually interacting and having fun, but also roasting the composer, Miyako, in a friendly manner for the song's super-human demands. 🤣 It is funny in an endearing way! You may also be happy to know, that the band agrees with you about giving Haruna more love - in the track lists for their latest concerts, like the "No More Tragedy" DVD (from the Tokyo show of 1st Sept., 2024) coming out this March, I find a proud stand-alone track that says "Drum Solo". Just a little more wait!
Thankfully Haruna doesn't go ham for some seconds, but for full five minutes ;) This song is a relentless onslaught, coming at you like a fully loaded freight train, and I think too long of a drum solo could even break the flow.
when this song came out on their Judgement CD last year I knew I had to see it performed live, unfortunately I missed them in Dallas, so had to settle for the BlueRay ....... definitely not disappointed awesome performance, love these Ladies
I’ve seen them three times, so far. After missing my chance to sang a ticket to their 2018 concert in San Francisco (who knew that a Japanese band had so many fans in the U.S.? A full video of that amazing show recently appeared on YT), I determined to make sure that never happened again.
Please help spread the word about this band while they themselves are aware of the small bit of a following that they have gotten internationally their label does very little to promote them outside of Asia, and thus they have gotten to where they are internationally through their social media presence such as your reaction video right here, and these ladies VERY much deserve to be one of the bigger names in the metal genre.
Great reaction. If you want a bass solo, try Someone's Dream ruclips.net/video/ocVKZL0s5Bo/видео.html. IMO, Haruna doesn't play solo that makes her a great and phenomenal drummer. She knows what the band needs from the rhythm section. She does a perfect rhythm section with Fami who also doesn't play much solo. Their music is serious, not for fun. Fancy shows of rhythm section spoil good music in total, doesn't need fancy shows of rhythm section but steady and good supporting work in background. Haruna's tecknique and sense of music is just supreme for the total sound. Her sophisticated fills of tom toms, cymbals and bells are perfect to support total sound of the band, and that is what she has to do and what she is doing, and what makes Lovebites supreme.
@@Abigirl_Reacts Do not take it extremely. It is not zero or a hundred. Not only drums, bass solos too. Over presence of rhythm section spoils total sound often. As I said I wouldn't mean "all the time" but chances are great. It sometimes ruin the balance. Rhythm sections work is to support, not play solo like solo instruments such as guitars and keyboards, and vocals. At least Lovebites is not that kind of band, and Haruna and Fami are doing great job that way. Many people, seams like mostly Americans, complain about motionlessness of Lovebites on the stage, but that is Lovebites. They try to make the best sound, not a show.
No real solo here for Haruna as it would have altered the pace of the song and it’s whole equilibrium. As many have already mentioned, in most of the Lovebites songs, Harupi is performing a huge solo along the whole song ! They are all so incredible ! I keep my fingers crossed : I hope they last forever… 😋 well, at least many many years ! ❤🇫🇷🤘🏻
You got to do the all Female band that kicked off the modern era of female bands... Aldious Spirit Black... this song became a massive hit that record companies realized there was a market for Female bands... and this is why there are so many female bands now.
For a bass and a drum solo you should check out Lovebites covering the Helloween song "Eagle fly free" in 2020. ruclips.net/video/To21HILZvYE/видео.html
Only the genius Miyako can compose a song like this (progressive power metal masterpiece) where all of them shine and show what they can do. SSS is a real madness-best power metal song from 2023 for sure-at least in my opinion
Thank you, nice reaction. Haruna had a separate Drum Solo in the last Concerts. There´s one in RUclips followed by the Song Stand and Deliver (with a nice Fami Intro). Best greetings to the Wolfpack
If you like Fami, I recommend “Alien Alien Bass Cover” that Fami posted on RUclips five years ago when she was a 17-year-old high school student. Of course, before joining LOVEBITES. Over 11 million views so far. ruclips.net/video/Q_UqztwYAOU/видео.htmlsi=KP7SuMu525CNY9EK from Japan with love❤
Thanks for the reaction to my fav band, I read in a comment somewhere that Miyako appollagised to the rest of the band for making them play that fast lol , as she wrote the song, it's a very fast beat to that song , but they all killed it as usual, Haruna was the first to memorise the song, if you catch a glimpse of her through the video she is always singing along , hard to do when your playing that fast, cheers Tim from Australia 🦘
Great reaction as always, tnx. Haruna solo? No problem, over 2 minutes of Haruna's solo + Fami solo, song "Stand and deliver" ruclips.net/video/MC2Zd05P9bo/видео.htmlsi=HT_uLUF8KL3I4asr
So here you have an elite group of musicians, to a point they have their parallels with The Warning, Haruna and Pau are both petite, both are hard hitters and both are amazing drummers; Fami and Alé are both great bassists, both play 5 string basses, but play different styles completely but both are masters of their style; You can’t really compare Midori, Miyako and Assami to Dany, but Dany does an amazing job of what all three do but in her own style. I do like both bands a lot but tend to listen to The Warning more, but whenever Lovebites drop a new song or live concert I have to watch it! I’ve not seen them live but have watched a fair few live concerts from RUclips including their performance at Wacken several years ago.
I see a lot of parallels between Fami and Momometal. New, younger, and such incredible energy added to an already-great mix. Fans seem really excited for both.
It is nice when the drummer gets a solo spot. However with Haruna it is understandable why she has limited solo spots. Every composition for her in Lovebites is a solo in itself. Her percussion skills are truly God Like.
Absolutely yes, her skill and sophisticated sense is God level.
She’s a Monster with her cymbols 👌🔥
Haruna is a nonstop solo, so much stamina and skill 🤘🥁🎸🎤🐺
Thanks for watching ^_^
I think she has a real drum solo on this concert as well!
"Whose going to stand out this performance". All of them. Phenomenal band. To play at this speed flawlessly yet so effortless is mesmerizing. Great reaction.
Perfect response! 💪
All of them indeed!
LOVEBITES - Soldier Stands Solitarily lyrics & credits:
If tomorrow never comes
Was it ever even here? Nobody knows
Trying to find key to the door
It's me and no one else
All in my hand
Things aren't as easy as "right" and "wrong'
You only need one thing to be proud of
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied
If I can take it all back
Daydreaming won't change a thing, so worthless
Life is always back and forth of hurting and getting hurt
Can't change this
I have been searching for something long
Not enough time to care what others think
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied
SOLOS: miyako / midori / both
Things aren't as easy as "right" and "wrong'
You only need one thing to be proud of
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied
Solitary soldier
Fighting till the end
I'm not satisfied
Solitary fire
Even with the scars
I'm not satisfied

Ok so are you saying drum solos are for fun bands only?
❤🇫🇷🤘🏻
We can only hope!
You got to do the all Female band that kicked off the modern era of female bands...
Aldious Spirit Black... this song became a massive hit that record companies realized there was a market for Female bands... and this is why there are so many female bands now.
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
For a bass and a drum solo you should check out Lovebites covering the Helloween song "Eagle fly free" in 2020.

I was going to say the same thing.
Added, thanks a bunch! ^_^
haruna has a solo during the concert. great reaction and welcome back to the queens of metal!! have a great day!!
You too ^_^
Rumour has it that the stage crew had fire extinguishers in place near Haruna’s feet just in case! 😅😅
Did you say this earlier?
Only the genius Miyako can compose a song like this (progressive power metal masterpiece) where all of them shine and show what they can do. SSS is a real madness-best power metal song from 2023 for sure-at least in my opinion
Well said!
Thank you, nice reaction. Haruna had a separate Drum Solo in the last Concerts. There´s one in RUclips followed by the Song Stand and Deliver (with a nice Fami Intro). Best greetings to the Wolfpack
Ooh I'll have to check that one out!
Yeah Fami is getting more and more featured moments on the new EP -can´t wait what she will do on the next full Album!
Me neither!
want to hear Fami's solo part longer!!
Me too!
If you like Fami, I recommend “Alien Alien Bass Cover” that Fami posted on RUclips five years ago when she was a 17-year-old high school student. Of course, before joining LOVEBITES.
Over 11 million views so far.

So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
Miyako is so talented ^_^
I Love this Power Ladies. Awesome Musicans. ❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺
So true!
Great reaction as always, tnx. Haruna solo? No problem, over 2 minutes of Haruna's solo + Fami solo, song "Stand and deliver" ruclips.net/video/MC2Zd05P9bo/видео.htmlsi=HT_uLUF8KL3I4asr

Miyako making it look easy; well that is her superpower.

Would be insane to see them live though eh?!
@ absolutely! They came to the UK (London) in 2023 and the tickets were gone before I even found out about it!
Haruna has a proper drum solo in this show just before Don't Bite The Dust I think
Aw man I gotta see that!
🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
🥰🥰🥰
I see a lot of parallels between Fami and Momometal. New, younger, and such incredible energy added to an already-great mix. Fans seem really excited for both.
I certainly am!
Fami Fami Fami!
Yea yea yea!

Favorite part was Haruna’s drum solo! That you apparently didn’t hear.
Time stamp it for me
Abigail highly recommend doing Versailles Revenant Choir live or official music video.
