Swapped mine out and added a 12” kicker subwoofer in the trunk. First time having a subwoofer with a hatch rather than a closed trunk and man let’s just say I’ll probably never go back. I can hear the bass behind my head and my kids love the massage from the bass 😂
The only thing I can think is the mounting depth is about a quarter inch deeper. The ones I installed in the video were cutting it a bit close as far as clearance so maybe that's why. I did leave a link for the ones that are in the video in the description🤙🏼
That lighter trick for stripping the insulation is genius!
Works every time

I plan on doing a full sound system at some point. Time and money
How about changing my factory 6x9 in my 2010 Dodge Charger with some Rockford Fosgate Punch P1694?

To the lady in the background saying she always uses her teeth. Me too lady me too 😂😂😂
I'll pass it along to her. She'll be glad she's not alone
Do you think skar 6x9s would fit?
Yep, you may need to check the depth on it. If they are too deep, take a heat gun to the inside and just make room for it
@@JesseBusse ight I just ordered a full skar system my mom traded me her magnum and I’m a big skar fan
@@titanup2280 skar has definitely upped their game over the past few years. Up there with sundown, JL, Rockford, you name it
Yes I have them in mine
Are the original speakers good?
They're alright but they were on their way out

Yep
Ok cool, thank you.
