Dad of two here. What your father did makes me angry. He deserves prison. A dad's first job is to protect the family, and i can't imagine what you went through.

Sheri, if you decided to fill a police report then it was the right thing to do! It will be hard to go through it in court but never as hard as doing it in his bedroom at only 13 years old. Your a grown up now and you have the tools in you to face it, when court day arrive just tell the judge what you told us and he will be put away for a long long time. And do not let his lawyer over power you, if he tries to corner you with his questions just remind him you were only 13 and your not the one on trial, his client is.

You did the right thing I’m so happy for you and I’m sorry the other siblings and your mom aren’t so supportive that’s really sad. You are stronger than you think! May God continue to strengthen you. They can forgive him but don’t have to be in his life because he was so wrong for what he’s done to you! That’s so traumatic and you have to deal with this forever and I feel for you.🌸💜💕

So proud to see how well you survived your trauma and are becoming an advacate for others!
I was molested by my dad from 12-16yrs old, I didn't charge him but denied anything happened to me because I wanted to protect my Mom and little bro from losing him.
My older sister did charge him(she only had it happen a handful of times) and he went to jail for only 18mths, all the while my mom took us to visit him in jail twice a week and stayed by his side until the day he died.

I am sorry to hear this. I feel as the older sister it is my responsibility to protect her for sure. I get how you felt, I didn't for so long for that reason. He scared me but they deserve to see a life without being blinded by him!!
How are you doing these days??

I can't imagine the level of control that would cause a 21 year old woman to continue to live with her S molester.
I'd love to know how in the world her brothers justified helping their dad.

Hey Sheri, I watched all your you tube videos. 😭 I am so sorry you had to go through this for so long. I had to stop watching a few times just to gather myself together. My heart truly breaks for what you have gone through. I am very happy that you have become free of him and are working for something better. You are waaaay stronger than you or anyone else can ever imagine. I wish you all the luck and love in the world as you move forward as that is the VERY least that you deserve. Ignore the nay-sayers, and do whatever it is you feel you have to do to heal the trauma so you can live a happy life. I wish you all the best, stay strong 💪🏻 and I will keep watching . Blessings and prayers to you ❤️🙏 take care !!

I have heard people use that line a lot" forgive the person" .. Why? I don't think people need to forgive someone who puts them through terrible things. Just like people are always " sorry" after they get caught. But I doubt they are actually sorry, other than being sorry they got caught. So, yeah.. no one has to forgive anyone, it is PERFECTLY Fine to cut all ties with people who hurt you, doesn't matter if they are family or not. I have a sister who stole from me, spread lies, and many many other things.... 25 years I've not spoken to her, and I have no plans on ever changing that. It isn't like she has tried to apologize to me in those 25 years.. actually she has continued the same things , just against other people.

Personally, I think that you were purposely separated by your parents from the rest of your siblings. Lot's of times, parents choose one child to molest and the other children are treated completely normal, so your brothers & sisters all had no idea about what happened to you because you were singled out by your parents and your Abuse was kept quiet and away from the rest of the family...
You know... the moms act so innocent... but, you should try looking around her place thru her phone, tablet, computer, & in books for the hard copies to see if she also has copies of the photos. My ex's parents actually had their Polaroid pics in a safe deposit box... my brother in law got ahold of them and tried to give them to me shortly after we got married... but... we disposed of them because I didn't know enough about the laws back then... Looking back, I should have taken them to the police, but it wasn't about me & my ex had no memory of anything before she was a teenager... or so she said. She was never ready to come out... and suffered from extreme depression. So I did my best to keep her happy & alive...
I know so much more today... way more than I ever wanted to know on this subject...
    God Bless you guys 😀
    Reed

I’m sorry your dad did that to you and your family has reacted in a way that just treated you as an inconvenient truth and scape goat. And you need to understand something: what your dad has done with the family is a common pattern with narcissists, psychopaths, and sociopath abusers. They scape goat and abuse at least one, but maybe more, of their kids and then treat the others, the “golden children,” wonderfully, in order to provide cover for themselves, with a set of kids that say “they’re just great.” The adopted daughter and son of narcissist actress Joan Crawford, of “Mommy Dearest,” fame were treated like this, and after she abused them she got a second set of adopted kids and treated them just great, so she’d has a posse of kids that gave her nothing but rave reviews. Betty Davis abused her daughter in the same way you can find clips of both Christina Crawford and Bette Davis’s daughter, talking about the abuse on RUclips. I’ve only watched a couple of your videos, but what I wonder is have you ever gone to the police about what your dad did? Because it was multiple felonies, and your right, he is dangerous to other young girls. And with you being forced to forgive, of course I don’t believe in that, at all, in fact look at the sex abuse scandal in the Catholic Church. That “forgive and forget,” tactic was what allowed priest to abuse so many children and adults, for so long. I’ve seen people, like one of the girls that was in Auschwitz abused by dr. Mengele say that forgiving helped here. Good for her, but there were tons of other Jews and others, in the camps, in fact most, that felt better not forgiving, and that doesn’t make them bad. People have to deal with abuse in whatever way brings relief to them, in order to get relief. And when it comes to your family, all I would advise you is that, if you can, realize that you’re dealing with a sophisticated psychopath, one that has shown, he is capable of pulling, horrendous crimes, and covering them up, while not feeling any guilt. He is a felony level con man, and sex abuser, who will even victimize his own child, and who would spend life in prison if he was given what was due by law, an he has your family conned, real good. If you ever want that to change, probably the only way to do that is to get him brought to justice with the police. These kind of criminals con their way through life and one tell people to “prove it,” when caught, which for average folks is real hard, so mostly they get away with it. Police detectives are good at proving it, so are district attorneys and judges, and they’ll sure see through his shit, and make sure you family does, or they’ll look like shit to the public and be in a world of shit. Often unfortunately, that’s what it takes to wake families up from the con game spell, of a really dangerous psychopath. Your family is unfortunately probably in great denial about what happened, and that’s their only coping mechanism. The justice system, will wake them up from that denial, make sure your name stops being slandered, and put “daddy,” in the place he needs to be. I haven’t watched your videos much and haven’t seen if you’ve ever tried that but if you haven’t, I hope that you do soon. And I’m so sorry you’ve gone through this. You’re doing the right thing, keep on doing it. And if you can, bring him to justice through the police, the many crimes committed against you were not your fault. You deserve to be loved and comforted and you don’t deserve to be anybody’s scapegoat.
