Meeting VS Code Red for the first time!

- The week after I purchased VS Code Red aka “Waylon”, I packed up my family and camera crew and headed to Oklahoma to meet him!
It was so good getting to talk with Kristin Glayean, his breeder and previous owner, and meet her family, as well as Waylon’s famous brother, VS Flatline!

You’re videos are wonderful. I cried when you got the winning bid. I owned horses for a long time. I’m now 82 and still wish I could be an owner and ride. I just live thru you and your horses, goats donkeys, mini cows and mini horses. Take care of yourself and that wonderful husband. ❤

I asked my three uncles if they have heard of Code Red. We are in Queensland, Australia. One of them have herd of Code Red. He said a million is cheap for him. Plus, is happy a woman bought Code Red. He said we need new blood in horse breeding. Getting out of an old-fashioned way of breeding his words. Our family owns the Williams Cattle company. We have the biggest cattle station in Australia called Anna Creek, which is 2,428,113 kilometres. With 9,843 of cattle last count, on this station atm.

I don't think I have ever teared up at a video for goodness sakes! When Katie won the bid for Waylan It was very emotional! She was so excited, relieved and thrilled with the outcome of becoming the owner of VS Code Red! I have to say, VS Code Red is one gorgeous stallion!!

I've never cried for someone so hard, that I never met. I had a similar situation with my mare CA Sambulina out of National Champion TLA Supersonic. I felt your anxiety and the release once Code Red was yours. Bless your heart ❤️
I was surprised when i started sobbing when she won him and she started crying. I usex to show and train horse. Then I got sick and haven't even smelled the sweet perfume of a horse in a decade and a half. I know what it is to want a horse so badly. I know you must have worked so hard to obtain this dream. My gooddness, i see your channel, and im jealous, but beyond happy, you get to have such an amazing life. One filled with hard times and sad. But the joy.... you are lucky/blessed or however you want to state it. Though im sure with so much hard work. But boy, talk about a payoff at the end!
This is the best video ever. I cried as soon as you saw you got the bid and your husband was as happy as you. But when you went over to momma and daddy and just let it all out I had big big tears going down my face. ( it takes a lot for me to cry) Just to see the support that you have right there in that room is amazing.

A horse that is perfectly proportioned can look small to the eye. I remember my Dad telling me this about a thoroughbred classic winner called Prince Ragusa. Hes a beautiful Horse. Well done, Katie.....yep, i cried too when she bought him!
Like not only is he handsome, strong, built and big, he's also a goofball and sweet, he's such an awesome horse.

I've been watching since last Spring, towards the beginning of Summer and I went back and watched this video tonight and cried with Katie when you won❤! I have to say for a stallion Waylon is a big gentle baby! The way he was so careful not to nip your Momma's hand when she gave him treats was precious! Congratulations and I can't wait to see the rest of this year's foals!
When I first started riding, I was often paired with an Arabian stallion named Shah. Beautiful, dapple grey. I was 7 at the time, I'm 40 now and no longer ride, but still love the Arab breed. Miss you baby boy!

Again, I am clueless about horses, my jaw dropped open on the price you paid for your stallion. His coloring is amazing and the markings on his legs which leads me to baby Noelle and her markings on her legs, correct? He is her daddy? And Erlene is so beautiful.
My husband and I go to the horse auction where we live here in Wyoming every year. They have it right downtown and it's in May on or just around my birthday. We love going and watching the auction and as the prices go higher the crowd gets wilder with excitement. We see some beautiful horses. You have an amazing life and I love watching you with your animals, you have the gift with them.❤❤

Watching the bid reminded me of the time I bought my own horse. A friend was selling him and some had tested him out before me and was interested. Waiting that night was aggrandizing not knowing if I would be able to buy him. The other person passed and the text I woke up to was “he’s yours if you want him.” Best day of my life

He is a gorgeous horse. It’s been too many years since I’ve been in the QH world, so I’m not up on the new bloodlines, but it’s quite obvious he’s special… okay so I did a quick search for his pedigree and now I feel better. He’s from the Doc Bar and Zippo Pine Bar lines, two of the lines quite prominent when I was showing in amateur shows in the ‘70s. LOL. Nice to know their lines are still holding true. 😊

Been following you on FB. Can definitely relate to your excitement with this purchase. Keep in mind that in time you will not be satisfied of the distance between you and your new stallion. Speak from experience. In my case it necessitated relocating after a period of a few years. But that was God's plan all along. Its not the same as when you can have him right there on the property. You may end up in the future finding a location closer to you so logistics is not a problem. Remember this is coming from the heart as I was there before and it was not fun. Want my boy with me as much as possible.
