Great job amber, i just want to say heartland is more than a show but a great example of a way of life, not just on a farm but a example of the true values and morals of the heart of a person, through forgiveness and living by the golden rule of life its a great example for us all to live by to make this world a better place !!!❤😊
Hi Amber, that is hell of alot of work in your busy life. I don't know how you have the time or energy to accomplish it all in a day. You are certainly more than an actor. Good job.
Love, Love this video. You are living the dream Amber!! You not only play the part, you live it. When they casted you, they didn't realize how easily you would fit in the roll. You mentored a young lady named Lilly last year from Sudbury, Ontario. She was trying out for a part with Heartland. I took her under my wing and exposed her to what it takes to work at a boarding stable and how to care for a horse. Although she didn't make it on Heartland, she has found her true love......horses. I watched the video of you speaking to this group. Such great words and advice you gave them!! If only every teenager could spend a day with you at your farm, this world would be a better place:)
I can`t tell you how much the show Heartland made me homesick. I grew up on a horse ranch. So, it touched my heart in a lot of ways. Thank you Amber for playing such a great part.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm. I am hooked on the Heartland series. And I love your character. Amy is the best person and Jack is such a matriarch.
Amber thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I grew up JUST LIKE an Amy horse girl on a family ranch and farms just south of the area where Heartland is filmed. Our ranch was in Idaho! Very serious health problems made it impossible for our families to hold onto the entire ranch that had been held for our family lines for around 130 years. Our range was 30 miles back in the mountains and the farmlands for growing the crops to fee the animals and the people were down in the valley or up on the foothills. I am an Idaho girl, when I first saw the opening intro of Heartland with your scenes and the horses I almost fell right out of my chair and I cried. It was like watching myself, the girl with the long blonde hair and blue eyes, always instinctually relating to the horses and farm animals in a way different that anyone else. I am a Senior now, so there was nothing out there for people to read or watch about these things. Oh I wish I could have developed more liberty skills, which I knew nothing about, I simply figured out so many aspects of the "join-up," by watching and sensing the bodily reactions and the emotional responses I could sense from the horses. Slow and gentle, encourage, show, and teach one another to learn about one another. We did not have a round pen, I had wood-pole corrals, a meadow, a little corral next to small barn or outbuilding. One of the most dangerous places to live and work on are family ranches and farms. Large and small farm equipment, animals , remote locations, buildings and jobs that are of a nature to introduce more chance is part and parcel of the existence. I have not been able to own and keep a horse of my own since I was a girl at home. Homeland provides a place for me to enjoy seeing and loving the horses that I adore. My children grew up with a Mom who pretty much ALWAYS took note of the amazing horses and animals anywhere including on screens small and huge before the famous people in them. Life IS both dramatic and mundane on a ranch and farm, the more people, naturally everything increases exponentially. Thank you so much for being the central pivot of this program. As much as I, and other people felt so bad when the Ty character died, life is just like that, courage in the face of great trial is ingrained in a ranchers and farmers heart, first teachings---" When a horse throws you off, you have to get back on to teach it who is the boss!"That philosophy and teaching has provided a visual and actual practice upon which I have based so much of my own personal resilience. Literally, my own dad, was dragged down a mountain holding onto the stirrup on his horse when he was knocked off until he could get into his pickup as he had ridden out by himself and was thirty miles back in those mountains. As a child, I myself was thrown through a barbed wire fence, NOT by a horse, by a mechanical device, my brother grabbed me up out of the barbed-wire as night was coming on, holding me, the adrenaline pumping through his body, literally jumping over two fences to get my little body back to the campfire. I was slashed up but stopped crying as I looked at the huge gashes in my little thigh quite fascinated by the appearance of the gory wounds pulsating through the torn and bloody flesh. My Mom lost it, when she saw oh my gosh. As Dad drove the pick up down through those small dug roads ( he had dug them out himself with a small caterpillar he bought used.) and I was being held in my mother's arms, I cried NOT because I was so injured. I cried because I did not want my brothers or anyone being mad at me for ruining this very special roundup and family camping journey we had planned on for so long. At one point a deer LITERALLY LEAPED over the Hood of our pickup as we bumped on through that careening night. It was a breathless miracle in the face of a near death. I did survive literally by centimeters. The tiniest bit higher, the femoral artery in my groin would have been slashed and torn apart, I would have bled out in mere minutes, any higher on my neck the carotid the same. higher up I would have lost my right eye as well. My right wrist severing my hand from my wrist. Those dramatic events still take place, even though we now can have better access to emergency measures these days. This was back in the 1960s which makes the miracle even greater. Our gorgeous cousin Wayne and his even more gorgeous wife..two little girls, he fell dead from a heart valve problem he did not know he had leaving his little family behind, no longer there to take the place of his Dad who would soon not be able to run the ranch along with his other brother. Just.Like. That. echoes of Ty's death Wendy his wife NEVER remarried, she found that there could never be another man as good as Wayne, she saw that when she had to take on extra work in town to raise their girls, and could not leave them to go on up to the mountains to do the ranch-work to the degree that Wayne had done. That part of our family also had the race horses, their Sire serving all of the brood mares for the ranch quarter horses. Family ranches and farms are the backbones of our continents and our countries here in this hemisphere, they are a dying breed, remnants of times past. My sincere hope is that the Heartland continues to provide inspiration for those who are doing their best and can continue is this traditional Western tradition, as well as to retain a place in history to look back and forward upon, do develop and instill like values in the new frontiers that are carved out of the new realms we continue to discover and develop.
Thank you for sharing your story of the farm you grew up on. May I just say that I think you are blessed to have grown up on that farm. I am 57 years old and have always wanted to live that way, but I know it will never happen at this point in my life, being single and all. I love to hear the stories of others and watching Heartland also blesses my heart.

Hello Amber from Georgia. I started watching Heartland on Netflix several weeks ago. I get so engrossed in the show till 2-3 am in the mornings. I was heartbroken when Ty died but so upset that the show showed him collapsing in pen and next episode as 1 year later. All the actors on Heartland are so good and the storyline is fabulous. Looking forward to 15 and 16 series.

Such a great show to watch and a person that is a real country girl playing the role instead of a Hollywood actor playing country. Amber is really talented so amazing she has time for her own ranch. Watching the show again in season 3. The story is really interesting and know wonder why this show is so popular and it’s on 17th season amazing.

Hi Amber. I just started watching Heartland and I love it, especially Jack and Mallory.... I see me and my dad in a way . Lol.I love your character , I've just started season 3. I can't wait for tonight... I want to thank ALL OF YOU , for a good series that teaches old fashioned ,but true family teaching of love, respect and honest. I will tell others about this series. I love your farm ,it was me coming up in Natchitoches, Louisiana sweetie.👍❤️😘
Thanks Amber for showing the world of what really goes on at a real farm. Not much of that comes through on the show, so Not many people realize how much work that it takes to run a farm or a ranch. As for me, I live in East Central Wisconsin where none of the local TV stations show Heartland. I sure do miss it! I hope it never ends.
I have really enjoyed this video. U r such a down to earth person, I love watching heartland. It's my favorite show and i rewatch the seasons all the time. Keep up the great work and thanks again for sharing a day in the life of Amber

Dear Amber, thank for this video capturing a day in your life with all of your animals on your homestead. You clearly have a great life that allows you to enjoy home life and work at the same time. The character of Ami, which you play on Heartland, is much like the real you... a person who loves animals, someone who is friendly and positive about life. I'm sure many young girls look up to as great example of how to live a positive life. All the best...Wm sending you this e-mail from Gatineau, QC.
I know we're all having so much fun remembering all precious 4-leggeds living on your farm and Heartland..truly warms the cockles of the 💗 sending ya'll hugs!
Wow Amber, you certainly have your hands and arms full girl! I am in Australia in a highland rural region. I have 4 beautiful chooks. 2 are Isa browns and 2 are the gorgeous blacks. They love cuddles and follow me everywhere. Funny how the blacks lay white eggs hey. My gorgeous dog lets me know every day “it’s time to let the chooks out Mum”. Hey As I walk towards the chook pen little Lacey jumps and pounces all around the chook pen. The chooks at the same time are jumping in the pen. Too funny. Animals are just so amazing and don’t need a watch. They just know the time. Good luck with Season 16. I’m sure it will be a blast 🥰🥰😘😘😘
Can't begin to tell you how Heartland has not only been a pleasure to watch, but has also influenced my life decisions these last years. I was born and raised in the country, in Argentina. I used to ride my horse after school. Then my life took a different path and i spent decades away from that lifestyle. Now i'm trying to get back to it. Thank you from my heart. It was lovely to see your real life is not so different from the fiction.
I understand your love for animals and farm life. There is nothing better! Love horses but didn’t grow up with them. You are right, you’ve got the perfect job at Heartland …..fits you perfectly !
Incredible! So much respect that you’re an actual farmer. I’d dream of visiting a farm like that. So cool. Also love your work on heartland. I’ve never wanted to ride horses more in my life than since I’ve watched your program. ( just discovered on Netflix and binged it all to season 14, now I have to see how to watch 15&16) I love highland cattle too. Very wonderful farm.
I have an Olive Egger too! Her name is Raylah. She will jump on my lap when I sit down. She is so sweet! You are so great with all of your animals ❤❤❤🐴

Bye Amber.

We grew up on a farm and know the hard work. Enjoyed your video, Thanks from South Carolina, USA
Love this video, real farm life. Miss our farm.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm ❤️❤️❤️
