Julissa! Your Tia started without you. Lol The show was about to be called It's Me Tia Carmen! Yeah I have a hard time cooking little amounts. I'm gonna need to hit up Amazon for the Dominican Oregano. There is only 1 Dominican restaurant in San Diego. I don't think that COVID, nope looked it up I think COVID took it! It was so good. Unless it's Uncle Ben or that Ready Rice, you always wash your rice. I love cilantro. The more the better. Agreed! The way to my heart is through my stomach. I can't wait to make this.

@@Evagam All our foods are basically the same; rice, frijoles & some protein in some type of sauce (guiso). The 'sofrito" or "sazon" varies a bit in Latin America & the Caribbean, but it's all practically the same.

FYI; Dominicans are not the only ones who don't measure. Unless you're a professional cook/chef my Latinos rarely cook with specific measurements - that's why everyone's arroz con pollo, ceviche, etc. dish taste different.
