Julissa, I like your sense of humor. Lol! I have to have structure in my life as well. Go with what’s working, never deviate. I value time. Simplicity! If I haven’t worn a piece of clothing, shoes, and etc over two years that I’m unsure about I donate it to the kidney foundation. I just take to one of the local bins nearby the house.

I enjoyed watching this episode. There was great energy and I love organizing closets! However, as a home organizer myself, I did not like how the organizer just threw Julissa’s dress on the floor as though it’s trash. Even though it’s a piece that Julissa will not be wearing, I think it’s important to treat the clothing with dignity. Also, I try to use affirmative language such as “let go” instead of “what are you going to ‘get rid of’?” It’s more positive as opposed to triggering scarcity. The big reason why people keep things is usually because of personal attachment and you want to be as gentle with your language as possible. Moreover, I always ask my clients if they would like to sell their clothing. That’s another option instead of just donating them. Especially a $239 price tag for the dress.

I organize my closet by rainbow but all the same colour or patterns are on 1 hanger. I have black and pink velvet hangers. Taysha would not approve.
