Whisky.com reviews the Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye. The Jack Daniel's Rye was distilled from 70% flavoured rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. After the distillate was distilled twice on the huge column still apparatus in 2016, it was filtered through 90 cm thick maple charcoal before being filled into new American oak barrels for maturation.

I do like the ABV but so love a 100% Rye and very spicy with lots of dill and mint! But this one isn’t bad! Lately I have seen quite a bit of criticism towards JD but some of their expressions aren’t bad! I prefer better Rye but I do like the strength! The Rye feeling is lovely! I am a huge scotch lover, Islay in particular, but this is nice for a supper of a good Rye! Great review! Thank you! 🙏
