i just got my kit! seriously can't wait to get em installed! bit worried on how cramped im going to be, considering I'm a shade under 6'2...hopefully on the furthest mount point I'll be pretty good
Hey, if you took the brake fluid resivoir and flipped it front to back you could probably run a longer bolt through the passenger peg frame, where it'd approximately line up. I can't see any reason it wouldn't work other than the hole being too close to the rest of the resivoir to tighten it down all the way but evev then a small spacer could fix that issue.
Nice tutorial, man. How do you like the new riding position? I love these brackets, but my knees feel cramped on longer rides. Fortunately, I don't take too many long rides on the bike. Of course comfort is dependent on your height, inseam, etc. Regardless, the new riding position is a vast improvement over stock. Combined with Vortex clip ons, it really transforms the bike to a micro supersport.
+skyyywalk3r I love the riding position. The bike leans over really easily! I'm fairly short, so I don't feel cramped, in fact, I feel more connected to the bike. Thanks for the view!
+Two Wheels and Tech Just basic spools I picked up from the bike dealer, $15. I have front and rear stand I got from Princess Auto, $60 a piece. Very basic.
+Mike Hosmar better solution, I talked to the guy I designed the riser. He said he is working on a bracket for the brake reservoir. He's gonna send it for free to the people who have already purchased this. Great service.

What rear stand is that and what spools are you using?

Mines_Skyline Do you know what size your spools are?
+Two Wheels and Tech 6mm i believe.
Once you choose a position shorten your brake line. zip ties are not cool.
