people say “jerk rig” but it’s really a pull rig you don’t want hard yanks cause it doesn’t look life like but slowly pulling it looks more real but love it man
Cool video and new product Thomas. I see the demonstrated advantage of more dekes in motion and the resulting ripples of moving ducks. I also like the great mobility factor. Suggestion: Get about a one foot metal rod with a point on 1 end and about a one inch eye hole on the other end. Thread the " jerk" cord through the eye hole and shove the eye hole and cord into the bank so cord stays below the water at all times. If you take out most of the slack you can just "tickle" the dekes with just a couple of fingers. In still no wind conditions and the birds are giving you the hard eye any movement by us hunters is critical. BTW In general, I don't want my deKe spread too close so when the birds are looking at the decoys they are also Profiling Me. Whoops, I wrote another book.
Thanks Sly! I enjoy your long comments, they're always insightful. I used to have a metal rod like that and lost it, I need to make/buy a new one. I definitely agree about moving the decoys away from your hide, typically the better the hide the more willing I am to put the decoys in close though
Great review of the product. I bought one a couple months ago for this season. Plan on getting back into duck hunting this season...mostly hunting solo on small waters, so this system will be perfect!
Thank you! I think you'll really enjoy the product and find it extremely helpful! It is now something that I almost always miss when I forget it at home
You attach the anchor to the central piece that arms extend from. You attach your anchor to a bungee and that bungee to the spreader. I’ve used small kayak anchors with no issues. I just leave my decoys attached to it all season, one of my favorite things about it
Thanks Mike! Unfortunately that code expired and I haven’t setup a new one with the owner. There may be another one this fall but I can’t say for sure, sorry about that
Haha it’s hard not too be when it’s starts getting close! I definitely think you’ll enjoy the spreader, it was my single biggest difference maker last season when it comes to decoys

Just used your code. Looking forward to a good duck season. Wish you the best!
Thanks brother! I'm counting down the days now! Hope you have a great season as well

It was a game changer for me last season.
Great thorough video. Almost made me buy another one lol. Great footage
Thanks Titus! I may end up grabbing another one if this one works as well as I'm expecting it to.
So where do you hook up the anchor? What pounds for what conditions works best? What’s the best way to hook up the decoys to it?

Excited for the review and product but the discount code doesn't work any longer.
Any way to get an updated discount code?
Thanks Mike! Unfortunately that code expired and I haven’t setup a new one with the owner. There may be another one this fall but I can’t say for sure, sorry about that
@@HokeOutdoors no worries. I ended up purchasing one anyways. I'm too excited getting ready for the fall.

I need to get one I hunting in wa and you can’t use battery powered decoys
Can you use this in deep salt water bays
Cool stuff, glad to see different content
Thanks, should be plenty of different stuff throughout October and early November, before the waterfowl season grind starts
Have you ever used it in moving water
I haven't, I wouldn't think it would do much good in current since the decoys would already be moving
Thanks It was very very good.great job
Thank you!
How do you connect the 2 together to have 7 deeks in the spread? I have one and cant figure it out.
Connect one of the decoys to an arm on both spreaders, so you'll have two clips attached to one decoy
@@HokeOutdoors ok cool. Thanks amigo.
Great review.. looks awesome and can wait to c it in action!!
Thanks! Should be featured in a couple hunts from our early season, didn't get the chance to use it today cause of a last minute change of plans
@@HokeOutdoors I would love to do a waterfoul hunt with u ..I'm in pa . We have some good hunting up here!!
How fast is the free shipping to Michigan?
Just asked Ben, he said 2-3 days
Nice video bud
How do you set it up
I leave 7 decoys attached to it so in the mornings you just connect all the poles to the hubs and attach an anchor and line for pulling
