I would paint some black or dark green to break up the straight lines on the x not much in nature is perfectly straight. Looks great working

Dude you’re my hero! I have a traditional jerk rig. I’m just going to use the cord and anchor from it to build the system! All I need is the pvc. Thanks brother 🙏

Definitely earned a subscriber. I love seeing hunters taking initiative and coming up with tactics instead of listening to big name hunters just telling you to buy all of this stuff. Great video and great idea!

Great job. Im going to build one myself. I'll be adding a bunge cord to the anchor for some added movement.

I added a 3 foot bungee to mine and took it out Friday. The bungee really adds action to the spread. Pull it tight and let it go.

Love the ingenuity. Anything I've seen at this price on the market is flimsy, this will definitely hold up. Might try this out, local lake is mud. Might try adding a bungee anchor for even more motion, pretty shallow here.

Thank you! And I think the bungee cord would make a great addition!

Can also run them through an anchor and jerk rig feeding action

I imagine this is how motion ducks spreader/jerk rig got it’s start.

Instead of para line to the weights, use a bungee cord between to the line and the weight. It will give more back and forth.

    Why not a bungee cord

A bungee cord would definitely help! Just didn’t think of it at the time!

As well as the bungee idea I plan to drill a few holes in the PVC to lelt the water into the tubes;intead of just the holes in the end cap.@@Take-emTv99
