The Saint John’s Bible [Ep13 Padre Podcast]

In this Episode I share the beautiful pages of the St. John’s Bible: a beautiful manuscript of the Bible commissioned in the USA by the Benedictine Abbey of Collegeville, MN. Directed by Donald Jackson, it was written between 1998 and 2011 entirely in English, NRSV Catholic Edition. It’s the first complete Bible written by hand since the invention of the printing press by Gutenberg in 1454. I show the text with the beautiful illuminations that were made using the ancient techniques but with a modern twist. Enjoy!

Wow! The St. John’s 7 Volume Bible is great.
We are going to look into acquiring!
