I’m a CS student and recently I had an online test for Barclays internship hiring, they had really really tough coding questions, unfortunately i didn’t know about OpenAI, but later when i entered those exact same questions on chatGPT it literately gave me all the correct answers
This is really a big time saver for Cs students 🙌
I gave it my buggy code to tell me what's wrong with it and it did. In 5 -10 years many jobs will be lost due to this

ChatGPT will not be Google Killer. Google already has LaMDA which seems to be much more better at conversations and the more importantly in providing accurate information. ChatGPT acts confident even if it has incorrect data. We need to wait and see how these models will be used for different applications.
I am a developer and I can say for sure its definitely not going to kill development jobs. As a developer, you don't just write code.. You are solving problems and making decisions which would play a vital role for the application's future. I agree it can solve all your tough coding questions and write boilerplate code but that is due to the fact that all that information is feed into it by the dataset it was trained with.
Lol, that's the same medieval thinking that machines can't replace workers. What do you mean by killing jobs? In a team where 10 members would code, due to increased productivity, the team won't require let's say 4 devs. Isn't this implicit killing of jobs?

@@mahathmagandhi7552 No not even Tsar Bomba would not even be able to make a dent on the earth and no we are not currently at the world ending technology for nukes to truly kill us if we wanted to go to that potential the only possible way is to launch thousands at different countries which would cause a nuclear war to break out this almost happened in the Cold War where the United States and the Soviet Union threatened to start a nuclear war this almost happened in Cuba when the Soviet crew members said to launch the bombs as they thought World War 3 started while only 2 men were supposed to do the decision we just barely survived due to another crew member being on board refusing if he said yes nuclear war could have happened as it would be considered an attack on the United States.

Its big threat to Google than taking over jobs. Because it gives wrong answers confidently.
If you are planning to use it for coding shortcuts, once I asked for code it invented one which never supported by software. So be wary on accuracy of output on codes.
Though I enjoyed it, try writing songs and poems in Hindi, its thrill to experience that AI can put together something beautiful.
It will probably get better over time

Yes, it is a great AI where you can get your answers pretty quickly but have you ever thought where did it scraping it's information. In my opinion, it's getting it's data from various websites and combine them to give you a reasonable straightforward answer, so 'No' it can't kill Google from the root but it's an great alternative for user's like us.
I am 20 and i am average guy i don't think hard about my future but when I use chat gpt ,dalle and listen some interviews from ai industry giant like Sam Altman
I got anxious first time in my life my heart beat raised and i got into thinking what will happen to an average people in coming future
First of all Ai will take over basic tasks like autonomous driving, autonomous delevery, cashier less stores
Then it going to takeover repetitive tasks so if your jobs is do same thing again and again you need to start worrying chat gpt creats some amazing results when it come to article essays,music lyrics writting and with time it going to become better and better.
Its going to be really hard future for average person.

I tried giving it a code for a arduino car with wifi controls and live camera feed it instantly gave me a huge chunk of code in c for the car and another heap of html code for the controller, truly mindblowing, been trying to do that thing for months
Goggle does have great AI it is working on. Didn’t we see Lambda going sentient. It’s just that Google can not afford to lose trust of users. ChatGPT is not yet mature. When users search for content, they give trust to website.
I totally agree, Google has enormous amount of data, I'm sure they would have thought to make something like Chatgpt, but they won't make it, their business model is very different and they wouldn't go on that side, and let's just say even they make something like this, they could easily rip of the market, as they have more experience than anyone else, they've been making AI product since ages, also the amount of data and resources they have been collecting till date couldn't be imagined.
Yeah but the problem is that humans in the internet do not really care about privacy unless if it’s one person a big company like Google wouldn’t care about privacy same with the average human being

this is nothing, I asked it to write Criminal Code and Constitution for a country and it did it, ofc it stops after a while and all you need to do is type CONTINUE FURTHER and it literally gave me around 17-20 pages of stiff and it can go for longer but then I stopped asking for more.
The best part about it is that it remembers previous conversations, so when Writing the Constitution, I could easily point to specific ARTICLE and ask it to write more about it,
for example, "In Article 9 Please explain in detail the process for holding an election."
not just that you can also ask it WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS WAY OF ELECTION, and it answers as to why it thought conducting elections in the way it suggested is better than what we may have now.
Like it's just mind blowing.

I think Google will soon launch a similar feature like ChatGPT in its Google Search. But, it will be on a subscription-based model like RUclips premium.
Google already has AI enabled on a lot of stuff you do. They just don't make it obvious. They will continue to make it more efficient.

AI will make humans dependent on themselves I mean we are already very much dependent on the Internet and AI is already doing human jobs today and AI sure will have the power to take over humanity unless and untill we have control over it.
If we truly made AI so powerful that it becomes smarter than humans then the only way to truly control it is if we put cyborg parts in ourselves this actually exists but it’s not currently at the level of what we need to do to stop it and currently it’s only being used for medical purposes not to advance further through, although you can consider this more like an evolution rather than a downgrade.

I am excited but not nervous, no matter how advanced the AI goes in the future but the one thing they will always lack is a human touch. I mean sure in future the AI can recreate Leonardo da Vinci's mona Lisa or Vincent van Gogh's The starry night as original as possible but can they pour themself 14 years for a painting or can they tell the suffering behind the Vincent van Gogh's paintings, as a tech person I know the fact that the AI will be the future in many fields like auto pilot or virtual reality etc. But for a creativity aspect I don't think so, come on guys you know the fact that your eyes contains more atoms than the data of stars exist today, Its so fascinating for me at least, In the end I am just glad that I am a human being who can touch the plants, watering them daily growing with them each day.

in my college instead of doing entire code for 2hr during pracs. I use chatGPT. My code is ready within 20 minutes. I just have to remove comments in code and understand it(chatGPT also provides explanation) so that professor feels it generic

I don't see any points comparing this two with eachother, ChatGPT is created to serve different purpose as you know it already its large language model and Google which is search engine which try to solve the query of people by people.
