Took exam today and passed! Follow this video and take notes to topics like databases , security, resource hierarchy If you have background from AWS ..you just need to know functionality of service very similar to CCP . Good luck!
Hello there, may I ask if this course is the only one you watched during your studies for the exam? Also I'm not well familiar with cloud in general so I'm planning to study this course, Is it good for those who are newbie's? and Is it enough?
I have passed the exam 3 days ago. For all my Cloud certifications (3x AWS + this one), I've always studied using Andrew's content. Thank you for sharing your hard work and enabling people to step up!
Passed GCP CDL today. I already hold AWS CCP cert. For those of you who have AWS certs, I would just recommend going through this video (1.5x) skip sections not important for exams, and you should be able to pass. ( I just spend about 2.5 hours on this video and then couple of online mock tests)
@@abhishekpradhan7824 It will not definitely guarantee a job, but can help to better your resume. The advanced cloud certifications like Google Cloud ACE can help you get entry level job interviews. Best of luck
@@ImperialUn10n No surprises from gcp on the questions aspect. No support related questions, but there was one on billing. Andrew covered pretty much everything in the video. Good luck !
I have been studying GCP for a month. I’m a Google partner and have many resources available to me. This is simply the best. I will be buying the program to help out. You Rock!!
Litterally the best course online for the preparation of Google Cloud Digital leader exam, I litterally started studying 8 hours before exam, and I passed it. It's to the point and very precise, covered every important topics that comes to exam. Thanks a lot Andrew for this detailed content. You were my saviour today
Passed this week. Make sure to focus on 'everything' that the exam guidance mentions. There was even one question from the Google Cloud Adoption Framework. They have really tried hard to include questions in the exam that are contained within the official guide and official courses, which is of course good. But if you pass only the official courses and guides, it is also not enough. You need to understand in which situations things like DataWarehouse, DataProc, BigQuery etc are used. All the questions are situational, which makes the exam relatively harder than Az-900 and AWS (I have both).
Passed the exam, this video helps a lot I also reviewed official Google videos for some topics like discounts, take a moment to study this topic, and compliance. Focus on storage, app engine, Cloud armor, Cloud SQL, Big query, Anthos and Preemtible VMs also designing scenarios for migrating on premise to cloud based on local, regional and global access and frequency of requests.
I passed the exam today and without this video it was not possible. All questions came from exactly where you mentioned. The guide given in quiklabs is not sufficient. Thank you very much Andrew.
I want to express my gratitude towards Andrew for the lecture videos he provided. They were very helpful in allowing me to pass my exam last December 31st 2022. Thank you very much, Andrew.
Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻My exam is next month, did you study from this video only (is it enough)? Or you studied from other resources as well? congrats again🎉
I took the exam two days ago and passed! Even with the updated exam, this course has been a tremendous help in preparing for it! I recommend it!! Thank you Andrew Brown for providing this resource for free!
Hello there, may I ask if this course is the only one you watched during your studies for the exam? Also I'm not well familiar with cloud in general so I'm planning to study this course, Is it good for those who are newbie's? and Is it enough?
Yes, this was the only course that I took. I will also say that this is good for newbies! I had some experience since I took the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam a couple years back, so it was more of a refresher for me. However Andrew Brown does an excellent job explaining the basics! I recommend this course!
thanks; I was able to pass the exam by this video itself and some bunch of practice; I would recommend all GCP CDL Aspirants to go through this course religiously and make sure to remember topic related info highlighted at end of each topic by Andrew Brown.
Without your video, I wouldn't have passed the exam. Thank you so much. Your practice tests helped a lot. I hope Google takes a hint from this video and gives you the charter to create training content for them because we all know that the one they have currently has no relevance to the actual certification exam!
Just wrote the exam, and passed. All I can say is that this video is more than enough for your preparation towards Google Cloud Digital Leader. Most of the questions are slightly situation based. Many questions in my exam were related to databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and AI/ML. I did get like 2/3 questions based on API and Apigee.
Took the exam today and passed, I feel this video is more than enough for completing the certification even in November 2022. Thank you Andrew for making such a great content.
@@ramanamarksuriyamoorthy Thank you for the feedback. That's exactly what I've been doing also ... pausing the video and taking notes to make sure the material sinks in. I was also going to do the "free learning path" on the Google site and do a few of the sample questions and then give the exam a try.

@@StaceyJ1908 thanks. No, justo search in RUclips for: real exam questions for Google cloud digital leader certification and you Will get those. Thats what i meant. Good luck
Took the exam couple of days back, I must say that your course helped. This course+reading the official documentation for few services+skillsBoost course to understand those business words will provide anyone more than 80% score.
Would not have passed without this course on ExamPro so thank you for creating it! I had a lot of questions on identity and access and a few on networking. Make sure to learn SUDs, CUDs and Preemptible VM's. Had 1 support question on SLA times for which support level.
Thanks for your help!! Just passed the exam 30 min ago and wanted to say that your videos thought me more than any other content out there that I’ve been studying for the past couple do months haha!
Hello there, may I ask if this course is the only one you watched during your studies for the exam? Also I'm not well familiar with cloud in general so I'm planning to study this course, Is it good for those who are newbie's? and Is it enough?
I passed the exam today (webassessor showed a result within a couple of hours). I found the exam significantly easier than a number of the sample tests I'd undertaken on Whizlabs, ACloudGuru and ExamPro. I think the sample tests may be a little out of date. My exam included several questions on opex/capex models (quite a lot on this actually, surprisingly), role hierarchy, cloud benefits, structured/unstructured data. While it did ask some questions about Cloud Run / App Engine / Functions et al, they weren't detailed (I wasn't faced with appengine standard vs flex situations, or cloud run vs app engine combinations). No networking questions at all, which surprised me. Overall I would absolutely recommend this training course from Andrew for knowledge and confidence, but would now say it was a bit of a sledghammer to crack a nut - YMMV. Good luck.
Thanks @Andrew for this video. I passed exam. Extremely helpful video. Key prep topics are Resource Hier, Bare Metal deployments, Cloud storage, BigQuery, GKE, Could Funcstions/Serverless, Artifact registry. 40 questions. Exam level is really nice (higher) than Azure Fundamentals Az900. Enjoyed the thrill of clearing Google Cloud Digital Leader certification... thanks Andrew once again.
Today i took the exam and passed , This video is very useful and it will be more helpful if slides in this video are shared in pdf (Anyway took the screen shots of every slide :))- Thanks Andrew.
I used this learning material to reinforce my understanding of the concepts and services. Happy to note that I passed the exam. Thank you for your well curated content.
Passed the exam today , this video helped a lot along with the udemy cloud digital leader course and few practice sets (udemy ) . 4 weeks of thorough study is enough to pass this exam however the difficulty level of this exam is quite high.
Thank you Andrew for your detailed content, I passed the exam today. Started by watching your free video but really, everything made much more sense only after I purchased your course on ExamPro. The flashcards and practice exams were really helpful! Plus, you get some really good follow-alongs. As you mentioned, Google CDL is way more challenging than AWS CCP and Azure Fundamentals just because of the way the questions are written. Good luck everyone studying for this certification!
I passed the exam today 1/31/23 (pending official confirmation from Google). I found the test MUCH easier than what was reported online: the questions were very high level, mostly like 'why should you migrate to cloud' and what were the benefits. Questions about products were also quite obvious if you just had a minimal overview of what the products did (not even going in detail with the functionalities: just the general description were sufficient). I followed both this course and the official material. Stuff covered in the official material and the product cheat sheet they provide is more than enough to prepare this new version of the exam. I don't know if/when they changed the content of the exam again, but none of the questions you find online were present in my test (or even similar). This was my experience. This course was great nevertheless, it really helped cement the concepts and help you really understand the products, so thanks for providing it!
I was checking out the Whizlabs example questions, and they were not in line with the course I followed on Udemy. Also this video is not really in line with the course from Udemy. So I really don't know what to expect. Any advice? I've seen plenty of questions about types of support (enhanced, premium, ...) , Third-Party Technology support, etc. etc. Nothing like this was in Udemy. Can you enlighten me a bit on what really to expect?
@@Sickefy I haven't followed the Udemy course or Whizlabs, so I can't tell if the content is relevant. In my experience, all the questions I got were topics covered by the official course, so if you only follow that and then read the very high level specifications of the products (all the ones listed on Google Cloud's study guide) I think you will be able to pass the exam. Furthermore, this video is way more than enough to pass the exam: questions will not go so much in detail, but in fact if you want to be sure (and want to spend more effort than what is actually expected), you could just study on this course from exampro (don't bother with follow alongs tho)
Appeared for the GCP CDL exam today and cleared it. This video was really helpful, along with the official google material is enough for anyone. I also referred to the Cloud Bytes and Sketch Notes on youtube.
I passed the exam. Great content. It was very useful! Along with this your mock test paper was so similar to the actual. Thanks for preparing such an excellent content.
This is exactly true. Andy brown you need to update your content in video. Exam format is entirely new. Technical ques was very less. Exam was more focused on Cloud adoption and strategical topic. In my Exam I did not have a single que on Netwrk, Migration Services, Anthos, K8,. I remember few questions on looker service otherwise no Technical and services related questions. Guys pls make sure you do through studies. Dumps available in market is not sufficient.
Yes Very true Safal, I also got very less technical questions today. I got failed today. i was sure about all answers though, I'm confused why it dint worked.
@Pulastya Arya questions were more focused on Database, containers, storage & other features of Google Cloud services such as cloud run, cloud functions.I would recommend everyone to thoroughly study all services & there features deeply before appearing exam..
Ok Google is 100% reading my mind, I finished my SAA-C02 in April during my spring break and I was thinking of taking a GCP exam when I got this recommended.
Passed the exam! It was tougher than I expected and more than 70-80% of questions are new and not from exampro practice type questions. However, if you do exampro questions and review all answers with concepts, you will be technically sound enough to pick the right answers! This is tough for a foundational exam! By the way, google has a new exam structure for CDL effective Jan 22! Make sure you review that as that looked very foundational! Thanks Andrew for the video, content and knowledge shared! Whether I passed today or not, I learned something for sure!
@@beingright Thanks for your prompt response, appreciate it. May i know which mock test did you use to prepare for the exam or which one did you find the closest to the real exam ?
Thanks for such a comprehensive overview for the GCP Cloud Digital Leader certification. I passed on 10/1/21 on my first try and felt this video was really key in achieving that result.
Hey Andrew, Thank you for this useful content. I have cleared my Cloud Digital Leader Certification today and waiting for the certificate from GCP. Thank you so much for this wonderful and resourceful video. Appreciate your effort sir !!
Hello david, may I ask if this course is the only one you watched during your studies for the exam? Also I'm not well familiar with cloud in general so I'm planning to study this course, Is it good for those who are newbie's? and Is it enough?
As someone with a real difficulty to focus on spoken content I'm glad that you have decided to break down the material in that way. Seeing someone who scribbles and marks stuff on screen engages me much more than just watching static slides with a voiceover. Haven't signed for the exam yet, but I'll do it definitely!
I passed the exam today and it was harder than I expected. Not many questions from exampro - maybe 5 or so out of 40. It was still helpful to learn the basics, but there were quite a few tricky ones. Time was not an issue so don't feel rushed.
Andrew - I took the exam today and passed, I did go through this video and OMG this is so useful! Not only for the exam but just as an entire recap of GCP. I did purchase your exam prep guide as well. I followed also the Pluralsight course but that would not have been beneficial enough. Your video course at 2x speed is amazing. Great work!
Ok, I've just finished my exam. Don't know the result yet; they told me to wait up to 10 days to get the result (pass/fail). I'll update it here. So, this video content is outdated! As a few of people said in comments, exam was changed, and they won't ask heavily technical questions. You still need to know about GKE, Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Run, what is a container and what is a VM. You also need to know the difference between Cloud Spanner and Cloud SQL. Learn about data storage solutions, differences and purposes for databases, data warehouses and data lakes. Study SLA, SLO. Didn't get any question on greenfield/brownfield, but I guess it's just random. They also asked about cloud treace and cloud debugger, and a few questions about security, and organization structure. Oh yes, and 2 questions about phishing and malware. Altogether 50 questions. Guys, I bought several exam dumps over the internet; they are all outdated and useless! Don't waste your money on those. The exam is way easier; it really covers information you get from google course itself. Learn it, take notes, and try practice exam questions; they are very similar to what you get on the actual exam. I'll be checking this thread for a few days, ask your questions here, and I'll try to answer.
Ok, I've passed the exam and got my certificate. So, again, for anyone who is trying to prepare for the Google Cloud Digital Leader exam in August 2022, my advice is to stick with the official Google route. Make sure you really know and understand everything they explain in their video and learn all pdf they provide. That is really the only thing you will need on the exam. Again, all exam questions I saw on the internet are highly technical and do not align with real questions on the exam. Good luck, everyone. It really wasn't that hard to prepare and pass.
I am a big fan of the content this channel provides! I was wondering is it possible to have chapters in this video? That way I can revisit certain sections. Thank you again!
passed today, video helped to gain basic knowledges. but if youre want to prepare for the exam, do practice tests via exampro or else. and check dumps..
Thank you so much for the helpful course 👍, it is totally true that coursera course is not enough to pass the exam. Literally only 4 questions are covered in coursera and all the remaining questions are from this course.
Passed the GCP CDL yesterday. This course is indeed helpful and covers almost everything that was asked in the exam. Andrew is slightly fast paced so beginners in Cloud might find it a little difficult to follow the video. Overall, a really helpful course for the CDL certification! Thank you, Andrew Brown. 😊
@@simranjeetsinghdua6016 I did try the sample test in the google cloud website. Questions on the exam were mostly similar. I also found another video on RUclips with 20questions or something - those were also very close to the type of questions in the exam
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just took the exam this morning and passed! I was able to complete it in under 30 minutes and with ease! I was impressed with your coverage of non-exam material as well. I think that helps us to actually learn GCP and not to just do what it takes to pass the exam. Very good tutorial and still very relevant even though it was posted two years ago!
Thank you for the video! I want to point out a potential small tiny mistake. At 2:13:13 "Cloud Storage" you mentioned that the durability is "nine nines". The slide shows 11 nines. The "nines" are calculated by adding the digits on both sides of the decimal point. If you have 99 followed by the decimal point and then 9 additional "nines" (like in the slide), the total is 11 nines. If the durability is "nine nines" then you need to correct the slide by removing 2 digits. Maybe someone already raised this point and you already commented? I could not find it. Thank you again! All the best!
Passed the exam yesterday!! Thanks you Andrew for this video very very helpful: very clear, very complete. I think just following this course is enough to cover the most of topics and if you don't have much time it's a great resource.
@@javierortizmir7873 I followed the standard google course twice. Then i followed this course very very carefully (i.e. turning back to fully understand, checking, comparing and integrating with the videos of the standard Google course, etc...), taking notes: this has been the most efficient phase of my preparation and it has taken 2 days and half (8h/day). Finally, i tested my preparation over some free examples on internet (seek "exam cloud digital leader").
I have passed exam on 13th July. I took examrpo course and went through all video lectures, cheatsheet and practice exams. Most of the topics are covered in Exampro material. Few questions are related to Devops and SRE and migration phases topics which are available in google lectures.Thank you.

@@pranavgupta9319 interesting. I was thinking that it would be 50 or 60 questions. Was this your first cloud certification? And which mock test did you use ?
Thanks for the vid, I work in Google Cloud and had been putting off doing this cert for a while. This video definitely helped focus and was still 100% suitable for the exam, which I just passed.
Exam is way easier, not so much technical details, no extend scenarios and multi choice questions, just single choice. Usually it's a direct question about which service/product does this and that, majority it's just 1-2 sentence scenario like: travel agency decides to share their social media content, what should they use etc. If you have a general knowledge about cloud, security, ML, access, databases (including all data products BigQuery, Cloud Spanner etc), and some products especially Apigee, Kubernetes, Compute Engine, VMs solutions, Anthos, Bare Metal etc. then you will pass. I would say it doesn't go into that much details anymore, if you don't know the answer just go with common sense and elimination method :)

If you have background from AWS ..you just need to know functionality of service very similar to CCP .
Good luck!
I assuem you have AWS in your background? I am new to cloud and hoping this free training helps me. I orderd a few books as well to help.

What kind of q you got for CDLexam ? Any q on SRE or AI ML ? Any help is appreciated!
Have u found a job
Passed GCP CDL today. I already hold AWS CCP cert. For those of you who have AWS certs, I would just recommend going through this video (1.5x) skip sections not important for exams, and you should be able to pass. ( I just spend about 2.5 hours on this video and then couple of online mock tests)
what are the sections not important for the exam??
I didn't see any questions on the Billing concepts. A lot of questions were asked on Data Warehouse, SRE concepts, GKE.
After passing the exam will it gurrenty a job in cloud platform as a fresher ? What extra skills we need to have as a fresher ???
@@abhishekpradhan7824 It will not definitely guarantee a job, but can help to better your resume. The advanced cloud certifications like Google Cloud ACE can help you get entry level job interviews. Best of luck

Passed the exam today by going through Andrew video and taking 4 Mock tests. Preparation time 1 week .
Where did you find the 4 mock tests?
where did you find the mack tests, please ?
Did you have any lick with getting those mock tests you were asking for ? I am looking as well.
Yesterday I've passed the exam, Thanks very much Andrew for your lecture videos. your content was solid enough to clear the exam
Hey there!
Were there any any billing or support specific questions?
Or any unexpected questions?
@@ImperialUn10n No surprises from gcp on the questions aspect. No support related questions, but there was one on billing. Andrew covered pretty much everything in the video. Good luck !
I am not technical person BUT would still like to go for this exam, what do you suggest?
I have been studying GCP for a month. I’m a Google partner and have many resources available to me. This is simply the best. I will be buying the program to help out. You Rock!!
Litterally the best course online for the preparation of Google Cloud Digital leader exam, I litterally started studying 8 hours before exam, and I passed it. It's to the point and very precise, covered every important topics that comes to exam. Thanks a lot Andrew for this detailed content. You were my saviour today
hey any dumps with you @darkknight4186
Is it enough for the exam or any extra things to do for it?
Is this exam is beneficial for a fresher ?

Haven't they updated the questions ? Is this video enough to clear the exam ?
I passed the exam today and without this video it was not possible. All questions came from exactly where you mentioned. The guide given in quiklabs is not sufficient. Thank you very much Andrew.
I want to express my gratitude towards Andrew for the lecture videos he provided. They were very helpful in allowing me to pass my exam last December 31st 2022. Thank you very much, Andrew.

Good luck.
I, recently, passed the GCP Digital Leader, thanks to Andrew. This content was really helpful.
I just passed the exam last night. Your guide was a great help. Thank you!
Thanks @Andrew for this video. I passed exam. Extremely helpful video. Key prep topics are Resource Hier, Bare Metal deployments, Cloud storage, BigQuery, GKE, Could Funcstions/Serverless, Artifact registry. 40 questions. Exam level is really nice (higher) than Azure Fundamentals Az900. Enjoyed the thrill of clearing Google Cloud Digital Leader certification... thanks Andrew once again.

Which one is easy to do ? ACE or Digital Leader
"Product cheat sheet"? Where can that be found?

Passed the exam! It was tougher than I expected and more than 70-80% of questions are new and not from exampro practice type questions. However, if you do exampro questions and review all answers with concepts, you will be technically sound enough to pick the right answers! This is tough for a foundational exam! By the way, google has a new exam structure for CDL effective Jan 22! Make sure you review that as that looked very foundational! Thanks Andrew for the video, content and knowledge shared!

Hi, Congratulations. Could you please tell if you did practise tests as well along with the course?
@@simranjeetsinghdua6016 I did try the sample test in the google cloud website. Questions on the exam were mostly similar. I also found another video on RUclips with 20questions or something - those were also very close to the type of questions in the exam
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just took the exam this morning and passed! I was able to complete it in under 30 minutes and with ease! I was impressed with your coverage of non-exam material as well. I think that helps us to actually learn GCP and not to just do what it takes to pass the exam. Very good tutorial and still very relevant even though it was posted two years ago!
Was most of the info here still accurate? Is this alone enough to pass or did you use other sources?
@@JDMorris81 I did supplement with practice exams from Udemy. But for information, this was the most thorough.
This is such a comprehensive course, I cleared my certification because of this. Thank you for putting this online for free
what other resources did you prepare from?
@@sarthakgupta1102 qwik labs and this video , but you need to know about each gcp product and uts uses , because all questions will be scenario based
Thanks, passed the exam. Useful info. There was more ML/AI questions than I expected I only glanced over that bit expecting it not to come up so much
Thank you for the video!
But now syllabus is updated right . So do I need to follow this video content.
hey man! .. how much time did you dedicated to study the contents before taking the tests?
Few questions are related to Devops and SRE and migration phases topics which are available in google lectures.Thank you.
could you please share those with me
Successfully Completed GCP - CDL in Dec 2023! Watching your session.
6 hours total session. Breakup: every day 1 hour for 5 days for 30 days in continuum. Thanks for posting for free...
Is this video still relevant
Passed the exam last week. This course was really helpful for learning the required basics evaluated by the certification. Thanks!
Congratulations ! May i ask in total how many questions were there ?
Thanks @@nvasudeva! There were 40 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
I would say it doesn't go into that much details anymore, if you don't know the answer just go with common sense and elimination method :)
that is nice to hear. Is this study material still usable or is it outdated?
I cleared this exam. This video helped me lot in clearing the exams. Many Thanks to Andy Brown! You are a Star!
Hii My CDL exam is scheduled on 22 October, can you please share me some of the resources you used for the preparation and tips for the exam.
I have completed the CDL certification today. Your Tutorial worked excellent for revising the course content in a very effective way. Thank you so much for your Tutorial.
Congrats!! mind sharing what other resources you used to achieve this? TIA
@@YancyGodoy Thank you... I have just prepared the Google CDL course content and this video. I was able to clear. All the questions were basic concepts and easy to answer. You can get through. All the best.
Passed my exam yesterday, thanks for the video, it helps.
I just passed the GCP CDL. Big THX to you Andrew!!! Keep up the good work!
Is the content still relevant to the updated exam?
Bruh I knew a bit but was confused and went through your course like 12 hrs before exam and it helped a lot with understanding the concepts. Thanks a lot just passed xD, PS: if anyone is taking the exam with less prep dont forget to glance through security and AI related concepts just before exam
Could you share the exact doc link you are referring to here for security and AI ?
@@m_swastik Hi Swastik dont have any document as such just googled the things he explained for better knowledge
@@jazzdestructor ok. 🙂
I have recently passed the exam. Thank you so much. This video was extremely helpful.
Passed GCP CDL today. This video has helped me understand the various topics easily. I have also attended the mentor session in my company for the same. Thanks Andrew for this content.
Hey bro, do u have latest practice questions or dumps for this?
I purchased your course thru exampro. It was the main course and practice exam that I used. I supplemented it with other materials. I passed the exam last week. I am still waiting for Google's verified results.
Thank you so much for this! I passed AWS Solutions Arch Associate thanks to Andy, and i'm excited to study Google Cloud!
Today, I passed the exam. Thanks Andrew for wonderful content.
I have cleared the Google Cloud Digital Leader exam going through your videos and it was really helpful. Thanks for the same
Just passed the exam and this class and materials were key! Thank you so much.
Andrew I just took this exam and passed it. I had purchased your course which included practice exams. Great content - could not have done with out it. I think I over prepared but that's Ok. Thank You.
Passed the exam just now!
Wrote the exam this month. Content here is sufficient for the exam prep. This course perhaps has too much detail for the exam. But I would still recommend it.
Hi @gr8action, Is this video alone is sufficient to pass the exam or do I need to purchase exam pro for passing out this exam? Please suggest
Passed the exam on 10/28/2022. This video helps me a lot!
Thank you freeCodeCamp and Andew Brown!
