Thank you Andrew, I have passed the certification yesterday and got 816/1000 points. There were 6 questions on ACID topics in the exam for me, friends look into ACID topics that will weigh in few more points to you guys. Goodluck everyone.
Thank you so much for your great works. You did a fantastic job. You covered almost everything in a nutshell for the Azure world. You are helping us way way more than we are helping you. Thanks again
Thank you for the great session. Was able to pass the exam in my first attempt ( 775/900) after watching this video, going through the learning path & attending the virtual training event by Microsoft.
@@aravindrajkumark9927 This video is good for revision due to the cheatsheets present here, Also go through the microsoft learn also and complete all the modules.
I took the webinar a couple weeks ago so qualify for the test, but the info wasn’t clear on how long the webinar was, so I missed some. So grateful to find this!
Taking the test tomorrow. Watched the whole series - admittedly at mostly 0.75x - looking forward to posting back on success. A whole career of MSSQL, a few years of HDinsights, a couple of hours on Cosmos, and a few years of detached hadoop. I should've been looking into resources like this for a long time, nice refresher.
Watched this video, took notes while watching and followed along, just passed the test! Another cert down! Even though I ran out of time and only made it to the 4 hour mark of the video.
i'm starting to study from this guide after having read through the microsoft learning path, hope that this will explain it much better. my exam is next week
Thanks for your expertise and effort of putting this together. I really enjoyed your content! Still a lot to learn. Looking forward for your other DP related trainings :)
Thank you, passed the DP-900 exam first time with a score of 857 thanks to your video! I personally thought this exam was much more difficult than the AZ-900. Even though I attended an MS virtual training event and read through all of the relevant learning paths, I still had no idea how to answer a few of the questions and must have had a few lucky guesses.
I failed 666 . I thought this video would be enough but i have to study more . I think I failed because my internet disconnected 3 times and they also warned me to create a case or something. Anyways I will attempt one more time after a month.
I previously passed AZ900 purely by watching Andrew's video 2-3 times. Now I would be able to pass DP900 just using this video. This guy is hands-down a top tier instructor. Clear voice and diction like a narrator.
Passed the exam today! Thank you for the video it was a big help especially the cheat sheets. Worked through the Microsoft learning paths and this video and that was enough for me to take the test.
Hey, can you please tell me how long did you study for the exam and how much experience you had prevously on the data field ? I want to take the exam but I am not sure
@@rasso87 Hi, I studied for about 10 hours total, including time spent watching this video and working through the microsoft learning modules on this topic. I do have some experience in this field as I work in this field as part of my job. If you join on of the microsoft learning events at the end you can get a voucher that make taking this exam free. If its free no reason not to do it right? Good Luck!

Hi I have a exam very soon, could you please guide me and let me know if this tutorial is enough to crack the exam or you have referred some other tutorial as well..
Presentation is excellent. However, there are many many many TYPOs and you term or call things wrongly often. Seems you have a great deal of knowledge but consistency with the terms and phrases would add more value.
At 04:34 the header of slide is wrong. It says 'Where do you take AZ-104 exam', whereas it needs to be DP-900. Through, I agree, the info will be the same (althrough you can't anymore take the exam with PSI from 2023, but this is for all exams).
Good introductory video and good for cramming as well. However, there are a good number of spelling/data (😉) mistakes, inaccurate or incorrect written and/or verbal information that can be very confusing at times.
Passed the AZ 900 certification today with exact score of 700 ;) Just watched this video once & did not take any practice test. Thanks a ton for uploading this video :)
Hi Andrew - going through your course, great content. Noticed a few mixups - thought I'd bring it to your attention. In the slide Row Store vs Column Store (43min mark) - you have mentioned that column store is suited for OLTP. Its actually OLAP.
@@ChaahaChills hey. I did follow this for a while but there is honestly a lot of information that isn't much pertaining to the exam. You can refer the MS docs the exam cram video by John Savill as a follow up and some short DP900 exam videos on A Guide to Cloud channel. A little too excited the trainer in the last one. But very exhaustive exam content.
Cleared DP900 certification today!!!! Hey Andrew, thanks for this packed course, i used this course material as revision. Thanks for all the efforts y you have put in!
i'd rather appreciate the slides if i can download them, keeping up with the video would give me a headache. It's reading the slides really fast while throwing a bit more information here and there
i've dp900 exam at 2:45 pm today, I've studied Microsoft learn and watched videos of some other RUclips channel. This is my last stop hoping I'll make it .
@@josiedavis5531 yes, you can submit whenever you want but you’ll have to appear on the given time. Or reschedule the exam 24 hours prior the exam. PS I just missed by 25 marks. I got 675 and passing marks are 700. I didn’t study hard enough so that’s okay.
@@josiedavis5531 no I didn’t, paper was straight forward pretty easy to moderate i would say. Just don’t waste your time without studying properly like me. You’ll crack it in first try.
@@aXe-XBT this video covers most of the DP-900 exam part and also give you idea about every service but I felt that this video should have also covered much more on non relational data where in this video it’s not covered in very detailed manner, but coming to practical experience it depends upon the individual, everyone won’t get chance to play with things in Azure except for the people who deal with Azure services within an organisation or the people who purchase it individually.I suggest for non relational data section go with Microsoft docs, except this section other sections are covered very well.

Thank you Andrew, i completed by DP 900 certification, ever grateful to you
Thank you for the great session. Was able to pass the exam in my first attempt ( 775/900) after watching this video, going through the learning path & attending the virtual training event by Microsoft.
Congrats :)
Congrats
@SpikeTaunt yeap, that's how it usually is for cloud certification exams
Congrats! Wait, you did not have to take an online course to pass?!
@SpikeTaunt Yes it is immediate upon submitting answers

I took the webinar a couple weeks ago so qualify for the test, but the info wasn’t clear on how long the webinar was, so I missed some. So grateful to find this!

Taking the test tomorrow. Watched the whole series - admittedly at mostly 0.75x - looking forward to posting back on success. I personally thought this exam was much more difficult than the AZ-900. Even though I attended an MS virtual training event and read through all of the relevant learning paths, I still had no idea how to answer a few of the questions and must have had a few lucky guesses.
Is AZ - 900 Mandatory or Helpful while attempting for DP - 900?

At 04:34 the header of slide is wrong. It says 'Where do you take AZ-104 exam', whereas it needs to be DP-900. Through, I agree, the info will be the same (althrough you can't anymore take the exam with PSI from 2023, but this is for all exams).
Good introductory video and good for cramming as well. However, there are a good number of spelling/data (😉) mistakes, inaccurate or incorrect written and/or verbal information that can be very confusing at times.

Hey folks,
DP-900 can act as an entryway for Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) too, right?
Hi Andrew - going through your course, great content.
Noticed a few mixups - thought I'd bring it to your attention.
In the slide Row Store vs Column Store (43min mark) - you have mentioned that column store is suited for OLTP. Its actually OLAP.
Exactly my thoughts! Thanks for pointing it out 😀
Dang. I have my exam scheduled next Wednesday and was looking for something like this.
Is this video helpful?
@@ChaahaChills hey. I did follow this for a while but there is honestly a lot of information that isn't much pertaining to the exam. Was this video enough to learn all the materials keeping the practice aside?
@@aXe-XBT this video covers most of the DP-900 exam part and also give you idea about every service but I felt that this video should have also covered much more on non relational data where in this video it’s not covered in very detailed manner, but coming to practical experience it depends upon the individual, everyone won’t get chance to play with things in Azure except for the people who deal with Azure services within an organisation or the people who purchase it individually.I suggest for non relational data section go with Microsoft docs, except this section other sections are covered very well.
Azure Data Studio is similar to ssMs, not ssIs. You're welcome. ADF is similar to SSIS.
