Because i had seen the 1982 version since 2000, i want more of it.
Dune 2 was a masterpiece and by far the best movie of 2024.
2021 version is like a perfume commercial. Duuuuune by Calvin Klein. Deeeeesert Power by Channel.
The 1984 film was great, but Frank Herbert's work truly deserves the special effects and technology that the 2024 film can offer. *I CANNOT WAITTTTT!!!* ❤
New saga sucks ass😅
The old and the new complete each other. That's not some fremen quote, btw.😂😂 I just mean that both films are more enjoyable having already seen the other.
I knew about the 80s version but why am I only discovering now Lynch directed it 😭😭😭
New Dune was Masterpiece
Chaani in 84 is really beautiful
No matter how awesome the new movies are, they will never have that poncy git Sting getting a crysknife thru his head. Best moment in cinema history.
Right? Like im here for the revitalization of Dune and i know the original is a little hacky. However there is just something about it that i love so much.
Gotta love those winged underoos tho
New dune sucked ass big time. 😅 only ppl who don't get dune will justified it trash
Yeeess. I missed it a lot in new boring disneyish versions
That fight scene in the 1984 Dune with Sting is epic.
I love the otiginal Dune. The new one has it's good moments too.
La version de Lynch est inégalable !😊
84 was such a beautiful movie
Just Villeneuve out here recreating Sean young movies.
Damn, definetely constrained by the technologies of the time. Great ambitions from Lynch though🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Lynch knows how to create unque atmosphere.
I will always love the original. I like the new ones too but they could do with a bit of color. Enough with the color grading and desaturating Hollywood.
Wooooo Weeeee! Soo excited!
woah the new dune’s new visuals and tech made the concept the story be more striking and provoking
No wonder I loved the trailer so much, I loved the original the first moment I saw it too!
Imagine we time travel back and show the new movie in theatres 😂
Well, that would be fun!
It would Still be a bore,
I prefer Lynch's blue within blue. But i am so excited for DUNE II coming this fall 🙌
Villeneuve is closer to the book.
I love the original Dune
I like the old version of Paul's first worm ride much more, the climbing on the worm, the worms being on the surface, the fremen following him up.
1984 Dune rocked
It really didn't at all
David Lynch, what a king 👑
Since i haven’t watched the originals, after being able to watch the new Dune movie when it’s released, im going to watch the Original versions and truly honestly had no idea they existed (i know it’s criminal) but wow they look so good for its time!
Same here.. I'm a bit sad that i can't experience the old movie as a first timer since know it all from the newer one. Nevertheless i HAVE to see this legendary movie
1984❤❤❤❤❤
Damn orson be doing the most in 1984
Honestly, the color grading in 1984 is so much better.
Lynch captured the feel but the screenplay was sabotaged, the characters were well done
Realy it's Cool🎉
I wish they kept the electricity crackling around the sandworm.
Nothing can beat 84’s Dune, but the new version is beautiful too
New version is trash. Dun isn't about race. It's about culter. It isn't about power. It's about understanding and fear of blood lines. Rulers is more of a planet source based thinking. New dune kicked up.
@@Rubrick23.How do you have a discussion of culture without a discussion of race
New one is also very boring...
@@Rubrick23.How was the new one about race?? You're confused my guy.
1984 is the best
One looks a lot more colorful than the other..
so much better ❤ dune 2024 is so good
1984 chani is sublime
Forty year old film looks just as good & was endlessly more intriguing than this recent one.
"The long sleeper live has the awakened fighters"
