12 Days cruise on the Viking Venus from Bergen to London "In Search of the Northern Lights".
We got to walk around in the cities of Alta, and Tromso before flying back to London because of bad weather.

Thanks.Viking did, however, issue every passenger a voucher in the amount of 50% of the cruise fare to be applied on a future cruise. We already have a cruise scheduled net year basically for free. We did get to see some amazing sights sailing through the fjords so it wasn't all that bad,

What time of the year was the cruise?
Is it commen for these cruises to be cancelled?

The cruise was in late January 2024. It was unusually bad weather in the Atlantic that caused the captain to have to keep the ship in the fjords protected from the wind and high seas. That was not common and most of those cruises go as planned.
