- Micah is officially 18 months, so we are headed to her doctor appointment so she can an update on her shots. She is growing and developing just fine, and is such a great baby. Potty training is at a great start! She asked to go all by herself this morning! She handled her shots alright. After a little bit of crying, she was just fine, and didn't seem to be bothered the rest of the day! We started to think of baby names for our next little girl, but we have a lot more names to go through! We ended off the night with some family fun.

Our pediatrician has started doing a new method that has worked amazing for my son! They give him a pinwheel and he blows right when they’re giving his shot and the exhale helps with the pain. His last two shots we had NO TEARS. Maybe mention it next time?
MakeupMommy this is a really neat idea! It makes sense. When you get a piercing they tell you to breath out when they push the needle through. I’m taking this idea to my ped!

Seeing Micah's personality developing is one of the coolest things ever. Just seeing her smile and laugh warms my heart. I can't wait to see Micah and her new sister playing together.

My first is a girl now grown she is highly intelligent and easy going like MICAH. It is so incredible watching brings back memories. I cried during her first shots so Dad had to take her and our son. Every time I watch one of your videos, I'm amazed at how big Micah is getting. 18 months! Wow! I've been watching since you found out you were pregnant with her. We were just starting on our own trying to conceive journey at the time. Now Jess is (very) pregnant with number TWO and I'm 18 days postpartum with my first! Love you guys!

Brave little girl Micah! Congratulations on the potty! I remember going to a fastfood place with my brother and nephews and they said they had to potty. So dad took them. They came racing out of the restroom and shouted to me, "Teresa! We went potty!" The restaurant erupted in choked back laughter as I shouted back, Good job, guys!"
Names, I have no children of my own but I'm always thinking of baby names. (Don't ask why because I literally don't know why.) If you want to consider another M name I've got Maeve and Michaelle (or maybe Michaela). Family names are good. I discovered my great great grandmother was named, Justine. My uncle is upset with his son and daughter-in-law for choosing family names from her side of the family, but not ours. Whatever you choose, please consider the horrible nicknames bullies can take advantage of. Who I just remembered two cool biblical names, Tabitha, she was a righteous woman. And Petra, the female form of Peter that means The Rock.

Micah's personality is so vibrant ! You both raised some a beautiful little girl. How did you guys get her to say words better? My daughter is almost 11 months and she wants to say words but then looks at us and laughs . So any new suggestions for a new mom ?
We just keep encouraging her to say words, bit she just started picking up a few on her own. We're kind of in the same boat though. Aside from the ones she actually knows we'll, she just says "ma-ma" for anything new we ask her to say lol

At 2 1/2 months old my daughter was hospitalized with RSV and she had to get an IV, even though you know it's something that needs to be done it was still super heartbreaking to hear her cry!
Oh, I can only imagine. My heart goes out to all the families and littles during sick season. That would be so difficult.

On a side note, I'm kind of a name nerd, and I compiled a list of names that I think y'all might like, but I wasn't sure if you'd want outside suggestions. So if you see this, let me know if you'd like to see what I put together! Either way, it was really fun because y'all are willing to use traditionally male names(which I love!) And trying to compliment the style, without being to matchy with Micah's name was a good challenge!

I am having my last baby and it is boy #4 the only girl name I have ever had picked out was Kaitlyn Nancy. My bius are Johnathan robert, Joshua daniel, Wesley michael, and Noah gene.
We are thinking we are having a girl her name will be Aurora but we were also thinking of Brielle. We find out forsure next month.
We choose no shots so I don't know what that's like but it's so sad to hear babies cry in pain 🥺

I still love her morning hair. My goodness Micah was a good girl at her check up, I noticed her legs are getting a little longer. Is that plant commonly called Mother-in-laws tongue? Lovely pot and stand though. My father was always the silly one with me & my sister and a great story teller., I too played Patter cake patter cake and many others. I laughed so hard at the play pillow fight, I loved Micahs flyaway hair. One day she’ll get her own back with a pillow at Austin. Great video Jess xxx

Jess you and Holly should do the ring gender reveal test to predict how many babies you will have and what the sex of each will be and what order they will be in. I am not sure what the official test name is but you take a strand of your hair and your wedding ring and trace your hand with it to reveal the results. I just watched a couple do it and each time they do it they get the same results. Holly can try to see how many kids she will have and in what order. You could try to see if its accurate since you already have one child and another on the way.
