Video is literally a new grand vitara promo video. Misleading title imo - gen 3/4 Jimny over the gen jimny 2 stock for stock sure but anything older would walk all over the new one. Can't wait to see off road mods come to market for the later series Jimny, nothing else on the market like it sadly!
this i can agree with. i have the new jb74 and the mistake people do is that once they feel that slip, they let off the gas right away not making the Traction control work when crawling.
I prefer the Gen 3 without the traction control...we drove everywhere the Gen 4's go without hassle...these Gen 3 drivers need some offroad driving training & experience.... Well done to all. Love our 2014 GV also, great 4x4..
@ 5:06, is that Roam Overlanding? This 4th gen Jimny is being produced in India ( my country ) to meet the growing global demand. But were are not fortunate enough to experience it since Suzuki has no plans to launch it in the local market. India is the only country where the 4th gen and 2nd gen LWB Jimny ( here known as Gypsy, built exclusively for Indian Army ) are produced side by side.
Hi It is not roam overlanding... He now has a bakkie (UTE) now. Think it's a Toyota. That's great to know, thank you for sharing... I'm surprised that Suzuki hasn't launched the gen 4 to the market in India, it seems to have a good following there...
Completely agree, I keep saying in comments to others that the old jimny requires good lines and wheel placement.. The new jimny allows beginners to go through to same areas as experienced drivers
215/80/15 in this video, but I have just modified the jimny and she now has 235/75/15. Got a few videos to post before the new videos come out with all the modifications...
nice footage showing the power of all grip. just damn that new jimny.

The new jimny doesn't need to take a line to get up that slope. It has a really good traction control.

I prefer the old design, in first sight the new looks like a jeep
What's with always telling us you have flatulence? That's gross!
