Hey brother. Just a FYI… those annoying freezer & fridge compressors. 9 out of 10 times they sit on thier own little metal plate/bracket. If u use ur sawzall and cut to the left and right of them they fall right out. The yards take them with that little bit of extra steel on them as well. U go from 10-15 minutes fighting the bolts down to literally 30-60 seconds to get them out.
I thumb need your advice I'm in hospital re hip and knee replacement. I'm a hobbie Scrapper and been often a load of there scrap do I pass it to some one or ask them to waitv
Great content as always. In the US, light iron (your tin shred) is $0.065/lb and #1 copper is $3.60/lb. I have access to three different EMR (European Metal Recycling) yards; two in Philadelphia and one in New Castle, DE. I learned awhile ago that EMR controls the pricing on the entire eastern sea board. Their main yard is in Camden, NJ. Whichever yard of the three I go to is closest to Camden, that yard normally has the better prices (less gas, less milage to haul). I tend to go to one of the Philly yards since that particular one is open until 10p during the week. I scrap nightly and sleep during the day.
It’s fun! I expect to do plenty like this going forward, but I do have a few at home specials planned too. No massive projects exactly but things I’m looking forward to sharing all the same!
Do a quick review of what you should carry in your truck. See scrappers who can't find something. Don't know who's more frustrated the scrapper or the viewer.😊
I did that once back in the day, and last year I did a different version of it with my “scrappers gift guide”. What I could do though is link one of those in all my video descriptions!
I scrap out a ton of those LMBs idk if there is any gold in them mainly cast AL,yes I remove every one of those tiny screws and even all the ferrous do dads inside, the boards in them look like they are covered with gold but I don’t hang on to them they go in the shred.
The routes I do through commercial properties and so on have been kind of dry lately, not tons of stuff like usual.I hope that picks up soon, it's been this way for about a week and a 1/2.By the way, great video!! Excuse my venting LO.L
If you look around your neighborhood there’s likely old out of service dishes. If you ask the owner politely they’ll probably be thrilled that you want to remove it for them.
@@MrSubliminalStudios Not worth the effort , only worth a few pennies in shred price. Any gold value is not worth the time to retrieve it. They are a bugger to get apart .
Hi Thub, noticed in a few of your videos that there's a lot of thick timber in the skips, sorry, dumpsters!! near new builds or renovations, Is there no value in collecting the heavier ones and cutting them to size and selling as logs for heating? Really enjoying your videos, highlight of the week!!. Cheers
I wouldn’t say no! That would be kinda cool, I have a small collection of stuff to process for gold but I haven’t tried to do it yet. Just slowly amassing bits and pieces and looking forward to giving it a try when I’ve got a suitable collection. A little more to add to it would be great!
That look when you came upon the second bbq... Everyone's felt that at some point and I think the sentiment was universal...😂🤣😅😆
“Hoorayyyy…” lol!
Sprayers like that often get a clog at the end of the tube inside the tank, a little rinse and they're back to 100%
Wouldn't be a Friday evening without your video, keep up the great work!
I Love your Style and Attitude 😉 keep Up with the good Work!
Thub Fridays! My favourite day of the week!
good day's haul
May God always bless your journey and I am always looking forward to new videos ✌️👍🙏

I hear the satellite heads are more known for silver content than gold
Still 90F (32C) here and no relief in sight!
Thanks for letting us come along for the ride!
I've torn apart a few dishes. Most (not all) of them had a really pretty bit of gold plating.
Absolutely awesome finds, and yes some of those LMB's have some gold, but it is in the double and the triple eyes. See you on the next video

Lol. Finding that second BBQ when you're nearly maxed. I feel you on that one. Excited but wondering how sketchy the load is getting 😅
I would defo be fixing that tool chest. They cost quite a bit, so it would be added to my workshop.

Alll good brother! That’s the issue with scrap isn’t it, it comes and it goes. It’ll come back again though!
Cool video .
I was 13000 subscriber !!!
For the bent bit
You’re a gem, Ty!
I watch about 3 different scrap videos. And all of them have found satellite dishes. That is one item I have never found.

They are a bugger to get apart .
The usually are considered property of the TV provider. So you should not really find them. I have on occasion seen them
Good day of scraping thub
Scrape away!
Sprayer nozzle is brass
Nice! Canadian kopeks spend just like anything else…
You sell that fridge from last week?
Oh I forgot to bring that up! Yes it sold easily 🙂

How much was the net?!
It was a gift from a friend! I think they run a little over $50?
@ nice man!!! I had the same one that I also got from a friend and unfortunately I left it inside a load at the dump. The thing was so helpful!!
@ I will be looking into getting another one today if I can
Do you accept scrap from viewers? I have some semi processed e waste. Its just gold plated fingers and stuff like that. I would love to send it to you
