You cannot but admire the professionalism and dedication of all of the helicopter unit of the IAC. Come what may, they are the unit that likes to say YES. Supported by multiple units and vital personnel, without whom the answer would unfortunately be NO. Go team. A classic example of people pulling together for the common good.
With all the money they used to buy a fucking printer they could have use that money for our defence forces to have a new helicopter or give them a liveable wage
3ops wing is the helicopter unit of the Air Corps. While it may be possible for the EC135 to complete air ambulance missions, the AW139 is the primary platform. Both are a part of 3ops. 302sqn is training unit. 301sqn is the ops unit. Years ago it was reversed but there was a helicopter school unit associated with flight training school. 303sqn is the maintenance unit essential to both squadrons, supplies utility crew for normal taskings including EAS and also all maintenance engineers and inspectors.

Only No. 3 do Air ambulance. But 101 squadron No 1 ops wing (the big blue CASA) do inter-hospital transfers for critically ill patients to Britain

Do ya have to be an EMT to be a 3Ops crewman?
Does anyone know if, once your finished training, do you get to pick what squadron you serve in or what happens
I think once you finish training you can select a preference for fixed wing or rotary depending on vacancies
