The R32 looks way better than the r33. The 33 is like the middle child no one wants lol. I like the 32 and 34 the same. Owning an r32 is also lots of fun.

The car in general is just fucking sick , i heard that if you remove some sort of valve or something from the stock twin turbo setup you can get around 400 hp out of it

Tough call. Side by side...couldn’t really choose. Both have rb26 so power is there. R32 is rounded, meanwhile r34 has more square. I think r34 wins me over. The tail lights pop out more and it’ll be someone’s worst nightmare 😏😈

I'm not a mechanic I'm just saying it doesn't sound like its 100% mechanically sound engine wise but I could be wrong
Brillant car man. wish there were more like this where i'm from. I go to the track and see nothing of this caliber.... nothing enough to keep up with the supra anyway.
I also find it strange that people say they get used to the power. I mean i get used to handling the power... it would never make me slip up or crash. But i never get used to how fast it is... it never feels slower than it once was. 700whp for 8 years... still blows me away every time i put my foot down!

Nice car man, I own a 1997 Skyline GTR R33 Vspec. Mine is a bit different cause I went with the RB30 block and used the RB26 head. It dyno'd around 734 at the wheels but the power of the bigger engine gives you so much more torque down low and a better more predictable mid range power. The car is simple to drive and pulls like a train all the way to redline. The skyline should have been released with the RB30 from the beginning. A lot of people will disagree with my statement but none of them will understand until they've driven a RB30 powered Skyline.
+James Thomas it had an rb30 in the r31 but it was NA. a rb30 block with 26 heads will thrash almost anything. My buddys car is a r32 gtst with a rb26 swapped (built rb30 bottom end) making 1000hp. Mine is a 1993 r32 gtr vspec but I am nowhere near his power. I am happy with my car as it is tho :) Its an amazing drive

Believe it or not I'm running the stock trans and stock dif's. Just a upgraded to a spec twin disk. Because the r33 is heavier than the 32&34 nissan beefed up the trans.
Man I've always been stuck on the 33. Love them all, but a white R33 GTR or GTS25t are just perfect to me. Im going to be looking into getting something in a year or so, as soon as at least on of my vehicles are payed off lol. My have to just get an R32 though since they have been legal for a little while and will probably be cheaper than an R33. R33's are legal this year in the US!
I always come back to this video the car is a beauty that's how I envision my skyline to look if I were to own one, hopefully someday.

Not what people would call "The first generation of what people would call the Godzilla" This is the Original Godzilla! The R32 GTR is what gave the GTR's the nickname "Godzilla", it was a nickname given by the Aussie's becuz it was a Japanese car that came and destroyed the Touring Car scene. It won all 29 JTC Championships it entered. And in 1990, 91, 92 it won Group A Championships and 1st in the Bathurst 1000 in 91 and 92 which is what led the Australians to name it "Godzilla". R32 GTR is the best GTR.

+Mike Dawson nah, they are rusted, left is missing and right one is backed out like 10mm... Gatorade bottle for coolant overflow. Cable ties everywhere. Pretty standard for an R32 GTR that has had a blown engine and sat in the rain for a while.

R32 sooo ROCKS!!!
My younger brother imported a 92' R32 and 2 months after it arrived in Oregon it spun a rod bearing. Pretty sure the car had issues before it was shipped, but it was limped together so it could be sold. Over months of sourcing parts and finding shops we'd trust to work it we'd put together a super stout engine, trans (PPG gear set) and drivetrain that could make 650 hp and do it reliably all day. Shortly after break in something went wrong with the #5 cylinder at low rpm and it tossed a valve, so we're at square one AGAIN. Fortunately right now a bunch of new OEM RB26 heads and cases came on the market at super reasonable prices so it stings a bit less.

For having a pink dildo shift knob and a gatorade bottle engine, it's a pretty slick ride. Now that R32's are legal here in the US I might consider grabbing one for a nice project. But this car is fucking awesome. Love the gunmetal grey.

Use to watch skylines street race in Okinawa back in 1980’s when I was a kid. My pops was stationed there and the locals would block off traffic and go at it until the jps showed up. Loved skylines ever since.
