@@ashcosmo3854 you can't compare the two. Hundreds of millions of years in difference. The earth changes drastically over large amounts of time. It's not that we are raising CO2 levels. It's that we are raising them so quickly. All living things on earth will adapt when things change slowly. When things change drastically over a few decades, which in reality is an eye blink, that's bad. Coral bleaching is a good example

I agree with this man 100% on how he speaks about the GTR heritage. Too many people out there only think of R35’s whenever they hear the name GTR. It’s because us silly Americans never got to know anything about that GTR life until the 35’s RIP. But this is why we are more appreciative of cars like the Skylines because there are sooo many cars we never got that every other country did!

After 3 decades, this car is still going fast
I guess it depends on the person behind the wheel because I had two BNR32s within a years span and just could not fall in love with either one. I found myself bored after only 3 months of ownership and one day I realized that I had settled for less in what I wanted because I couldn't afford a Supra at the time so I ended up selling my second one buying a Supra and I've been in love beyond words ever since.
I remember watching this video back in college hoping to own something like this… fast forward to today, I have a Turbo 350z Nismo making 585whp/444tq. Not a GT-R but it’ll do for me!!
As long as it makes the right noises and leaves some lines on the road behind you! Congrats.

Frankly, while I respect those crazy monster R35 builds and what they're pushing out these days, if someone walked up to me with the keys to a 600hp R32 or a 1000hp R35, I wouldn't even hesitate to snag that R32. Nothing says WEEEEEEE! like a responsive RB26 that sings at full chat and can still handle a corner. (Though all things equal, the older RB chassis' push a lot til you really dial in the suspension with aftermarket goodies.)

This has been my dream car most of my adult life. I am now 49 and will probably never get it, but the dream lives on. 😎 I live in Denmark and we pay a gazillion more for cars than the rest of the world, it's insane. My wife suggested that I could just lease a new gtr, but I can't settle for second best.... LOL. ✌

The best combo would be the 6 speed gearbox from the r34 its super close ratio and a 3 ltr bottom end with a smaller turbo.So same power big difference in smile factor

@@danielzychniewicz2633 It's racing background, (This is the skyline that earned the Godzilla nickname) it's the lightest one out of all the 1989-2002 GTRs, driving it feels more raw than the other skyline (my friend drove an r32, r33, and r34)

I am really curious about what the torque curve is on cars like this ? Once the turbo is charged and the boost comes in, you keep pushing until really high RPMs.
It's turbo charged but you push the RPMs like an atmospheric engine....

Its funny though, NZ and Aus have been pumping out big dick GTRs for yonks. So I honestly thought the title was a bit wanky because running something so rich to overrun slightly is common for big power cars. Southern hemispheres still builds the best ones.
And most of the GTRs in Australia do it hahaha
