    Can otter text be edited in Google Docs. or MS Word?

    Can we mute the other person who is in the conversation. Meaning it should not record or transcribe what the other person speaking?

      It's about how you are positioning the recording to the interviewee. You want a transcript of the interview (to help you write). The recording isn't all that useful (you're not going to post it). So tell them that you're after the transcript and it's a much easier conversation!

      @@EricKoester202 Sounds more like trickery. Just tell it like it is: i'll record the conversation now and then use some third-party software that does god knows what with the analyzed content. Oh well, sometimes I also quickly record phone calls on my laptop. Have a nice day!
