I just noticed the following associations for the minor arcana suit numbers 2-10. 2,3,4: the CARDINAL signs that correspond to the element represented in the tarot. Wands 🔥Aries Cups 🌊 Cancer Swords 🌬 Libra Pentacles 🌳 Capricorn 5,6,7: the FIXED signs that correspond to the element represented in the tarot. Wands 🔥 Leo Cups 🌊 Scorpio Swords 🌬 Aquarius Pentacles 🌳 Taurus 8,9,10: the MUTABLE signs that correspond to the element represented by the tarot. I am not a beginner but nonetheless feel the need to congratulate you, you made through all the cards and just as amazing, I watched the whole thing (so a pat on the back for me too)! It's interesting noting how the cards strike another person, many of the card meanings are on the surface so the interpretation of them doesn't vary much from person to person (the 3 of swords, comes to mind) but other cards where the meaning is not so obvious and one has to dig deeper into one's intuitive depths, that's where things get interesting. What you said of the page of cups, for instance. Taking care of the fish, you say? No he's not, he's talking to it, he's learning the ways of the ocean depths from one who has been there and knows. I've always heard the pages were card's of study but the page of swords, seems to be studying his surroundings as if weary of attack. The swords are the suit of conflict so maybe he is just undergoing a drill in the pursuit of mastering his suit. I have one question. Usually, after I shuffle the cards, I cheat and look at the card on the bottom of the deck, so that I can see which way to flip the cards up, so that they aren't reversed. How do you handle this, without checking? Am I cheating when I do that? I have come to believe that even that sneak peek, is part of my spread, it usual indicates the direction the reading is likely to go so, cheat or not, it becomes part of the reading. I rarely get reversed cards but given my methods, duh!
