Ben, you are very talented. I have never been aware of anyone expressing the meaning of the tarot in such clear and graspable ways without watering it down or oversimplifying. Where are you? You haven't posted videos in 5 years. You need to continue sharing your talents with the world.
I've been studying the Tarot for six years now. In my opinion, the key to learning it is to have a flexible mind. It's all about intuition rather than worrying about having to memorize rigid, rehearsed meanings, astrological and kabbalistic structures and so on. Of course, before you start giving readings, it's good to familiarize yourself with the overall consensus about the cards, and this video is great for _that_! But after coming to terms with the basics, it's your *responsibility* to take the liberty of exploring each card for yourself. It needs to become a dialogue between the subconscious mind and the Tarot. If that doesn't happen, you're only as good as Google - you can only _repeat_ already existing ideas. The alchemical journey starts with you and the Tarot _creating_ something new, something that hasn't been there before. That's the beauty of it!
+Tarot Reader ASMR I've been studying Tarot since early 90's and the first time I saw cards I was lost. One can briefly guess on major arcanas because titles are written on each card, but not minor. Intuition came after learning briefly cards' meanings for me. I didn't memorize meanings of all cards, just brief idea of meaning of each suit like cups and numbers. Also major cards, like Death, often doesn't mean actual death, but change or saying good bye to past or old. I found it by reading books about tarot cards and realized it's true. At first I took Death as actual Death. Intuitive reading started to come after some years of studying the meanings.
This might be why (as an example) two different readers can do separate readings, pull different cards and receive similar messages for the same person/question etc. As symbolism is a universal language. --However, the readers that have fundamental knowledge/wisdom/experience with mythology, astrology, the nakshatras, kabbalah, etc have provided the best readings imo, bar none. They just have so much more to share, I always walk away with a much deeper understanding, but that's me. Of course everyone is different, and thus, as mentioned above, the beauty of Tarot. *Obervation: When the reader relies solely on psychic intuition, it is a hit or miss, especially when their energy is blocked (let's face it it happens ) and results in a bias reading.* That's why, imo, Fundamentals are so important. Like art, writing etc... You gotta know the rules before you break them , so to speak... yes I realize there aren't rules per say ☺ In ancient times, to be a scribe you had to learn EVERYTHING before you were allowed to write. Seeing all the misinformation in the world today seems to illustrate the significance of this valuable concept. Any time one has the power to influence others, that's a huge responsibility. Great question! I often begin by asking a querent, "Is there a particular question you'd like an answer to? Or shall we have the cards to tell me what is on your mind?" If they choose the latter, I will do a 3 card spread. 1 is the past, 2 is their present mindset, 3 is what they are looking for. I use those cards to tell me the direction of the reading. After confirming with them that I understand what is on their mind, I'll go into a celtic cross. So for question #2, start with a 3 card spread
I watched this video and the next day decided to play with my deck. I took no notes and was amazed at how I retained so much and now understand the meanings more than ever. This is brilliant. I love the "cut the bullshit let's get to the point" vibe of this. I have been learning to read tarot for years now...well trying. I am someone who needs to be engaged and connected. Most books I've read(there have been many) gave the traditional classroom method. I don't learn that way,and in reality go into it with the predisposition that I will not retain it. My hand is going to fall off,lol. I have ten pages full of notes. Cathy S You can find relations between major and minor, especially in relation to numerology. It's not the say all or end all, but there are relationships. There are even relationships between the first half of the majors and the second half.
Cathy S I'm sorry Cathy, but instead of simply putting other people down, why don't you back up your own beliefs on the subject? For instance, Tarot stems from Kabbalah. In The Tree of Life there are 10 sephiroth (Or states of consciousness) with 22 pathways between. The 22 pathways are represented by the Major Arcana, (And the 22 letters in Hebrew Alphabet). YHVH The Hebrew God is split in to 4, so there are 4 Trees of Life. The 40 sephiroth represent the 36 small cards, plus the 4 aces. Each trump is a world of its own-one one-twenty-second facet of the totality of consciousness-the ultimate spiritual and cosmological reality. Each of the trumps can be thought of as having an entire set of 56 minor arcana cards that it rules and with which it executes its particular aspect of influence. We could agree correctly that there are really 1,232 (22x56) tarot cards in a complete deck; 56 cards of the Minor Arcana dutifully playing out their elemental roles in 22 different, but intimately connected stories written and directed by each of the 22 trumps. Please don't spread misinformation, the internet is wrought with it.
You should wear a hat. Hats are cool. As for everything else posted, it seems some people are taking my modest videos as suggesting I am some sort of tarot expert and that all I say should be taken as gospel. Quite the contrary! I'm just acquainting people with ideas, I'm just sewing seeds.
This video has nothing but good information within. It boggles my mind that anyone could dislike it. I find the Tarots ability to speak to every person I have read, a supernatural and spiritual tool that proves the nature of consciousness. We are all connected, even if we choose to deny it. There can be many reasons as to why someone would dislike it. I mean there's no real proof that cards hold any real answers. It's just vaque. To get any real answers or expecting to is silly. Don't know why people do it anyways.

I've been interested in Tarot for a long time, but have always found it daunting to try to learn the cards' meanings. I have several books that I've purchased over the years with great intent, only to look at the number of pages and amount of text to again be overwhelmed by the amount of information. I'm not opposed to work, but was looking for a baseline in books that wanted to give me the entire history. Your videos have provided that baseline, and the notes I've made while watching your videos will give me what I need to be able to move on to the next step, which is practicing in order to commit to memory, and then starting to read the books for further insight. In my opinion, that is an under-appreciated and under-recognized aspect of the tarot. Out idea of a knight today doesn't reflect the realities of what a knight went through hundreds of years ago. If you are reading based on pictures and labels, I think it is important to appreciate the nuances.
The ten of swords also means, the darkest hour before the dawn. The end of somthing painful and the rising of something new. In many religions the idea of suffering before enlightenment is shown. Only through loss and sadness we see the truth or search for it.

So glad this video popped up on my recommendation. I’ve been trying to understand tarot meanings for the last week or so, searched and watched quite some videos but most superficial and unable give more deep meaning/ historical context. Usually just describing the superficial and obvious meaning of the cards which I could probably read from some instruction books. I’m only 2x minutes into the video but am confident it is what I’m truly looking for. Surprise this video isn’t on the top search result. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
That might not be such a bad deal, for what could be several hours of someone's time. But I'm working on a few more videos that will get into more of the details and should help people become completely proficient as readers. It'll just take me some time to finish them...
**** NUMBERING IN TAROT MATTERS **** When I look at numbers, I think not only in terms of astrology, but also numerology, so for those who think it's complicated... it's not. Just know the BASICS and then the rest is your creative input!!! My advice: know basics about numerology as well as basics of astrology -- you don't have to get very deep, just get the "idea" of each number and each planet and sign. Example: The 5 of Pentacles, he mentions how they just "walk on past" the warmth of the building with the stained glass window. To me, 5 relates to "transition" and "change", it has roots with Mars (aggressive/assertive) and Mercury (movement, fast-moving planet)--- whereas 4 is "static" (Saturnine stability)... 5 is "dynamic". All I'm saying here is that you can compare one number to the next and get a sense of what's happening in the story that you are telling the person getting a reading (or if you are reading for yourself). Here I'm providing my opinion on this topic, it may be helpful to a newbie who's trying to learn more about Tarot - and I would invite to hear your thoughts and what you find as well!!! :-) Ace vs 2: Ace is "1", or solo.... 2 is obvious, having "two", or duality... 2 vs 3: duality/one-on-one versus group, right-left vs more than two options (look elsewhere for answers!)--- think Alt-Right vs Ultra-Left/Antifa within the "2" cards, and "3" would be a third alternative group called "The Moderates", if we were discussing politics during a Tarot Card reading.... like the "topic" that got your family into a huge fight over Christmas dinner recently, LOL 3 vs 4: dynamic, full free choices (having a menu and being intent *TO* make choices), whereas 4 is "I have made my decision"... 3 is open, 4 is closed... 3 is available to bringing in different elements and playing with the figures before making choices... 4 is about the construction of the choices made, it's the actual planning, the bringing-it-all-together. 4 vs 5: stable, familiar, vs seeking change.... comfort vs hardship that comes with change .... NOT changing vs being FORCED to change.... there's a concept, right!??? ... feeling nothing and being grounded vs letting it hang loose and venturing out and becoming maybe a little unglued.... 5 vs 6: dynamic again vs stable and sound ... trying vs tried-and-now-here-are-the-fruits of your labors... moving residentially versus adjusting to the neighborhood (leaving the old and getting into something new).... going vs arriving.... 6 vs 7: pride vs humility (clear in the 6 of wands for the pride/success vibe, versus not taking offense to criticism, he's defensive, and not on his high-horse anymore, but in both, clearly there is just ONE wand in-hand, so has connections to Ace again, suggestive of opportunity) .... Ace vs King: here we are going "backwards" which is another way to read the cards' numbers!!! It works also whether forward or backwards, so example, Ace is highest number (usually in most playing card decks), but in Tarot deck is the FIRST card.... but keeping in mind that things are infinitely cycling through different stages of evolution, we need to look at the cards forwards and backwards: the one before Ace is the King.... Ace vs King is established success, but Ace is opportunity TO success... King is set in ways, Ace is new at life... King is exit-interviews,... Ace is new job, new interview... again I could ramble on for days about this... part of it is getting creative in your mind on how you look at your cards. Each card can be applied to scenarios differently. A "2" in a one-on-one relationship can be interpreted differently than a "2" when appearing for questions about health for example. It might lead to the same theme that the card represents, but the situation in combination with the numbers showing up can dynamically change the meaning of the cards too. That's why I see Tarot as one type of intuitive art, not an exact science. Another piece of advice: a person with a completely, clearly, upbeat and positive attitude gets a 5 of Pentacles, does not mean shitty attitude, obvious... but it does mean they are putting in the effort! You can tell when you MEET someone and see how they carry themselves, what the meanings of the cards would then mean for them! You don't really NEED Tarot at that point, and the intuitive part is really about using your left and right brain and paying attention to the signals people give off. Everyone gives off a vibe that can influence how you see the cards. Hence why it's good to do a clearing and free the mind before laying cards. Your brain is processing the verbal and non-verbal cues, even though you might not consciously recognize that you're saying things based on their vibe (or how they come across to you). Example within the numbers: Ace being verbal/visual clues, the "2" card being the non-verbal/subtle clues, adding "another level" of complexity.

1) I cut the deck into 3 somewhat even piles. I then have the querent place them back together in any order they desire... using their left hand. 2) I only allow friends to handle the deck with their left hand. That is the hand which is most tied to the unconscious mind. Mostly, I try to limit the amount in which others handle my deck. I have no mystical reason for this (tho some say they they shouldn't be allowed to at all). 3) Just remain consistent in the way you turn them over.

I also noticed a motif of elements among the suites. Swords cards seems to have trees in midst gusts clouds and birds representing wind. Wands have a more desert background with lizards and lion designs representing fire. Cups seems to obviously represent water while Pentacles always show arable land, nature, and gardens representing earth.
here is my take on that astute observation, you could use those images to define a sun sign.. water signs, earth signs, air signs, etc. something to think about. i think thats one of the reason that readers ask for birthdates.. i don't ask, but i feel that they can associate more aspects in that correlation

Marlon Mckinley. I would follow Lallana's suggestion. Once you start searching decks, you will notice small and huge differences according to the artist. I have a collection of several Tarot decks and I can tell you that although they all have the traditional meanings, the artist will add to the images, which changes the translation, slightly.
I renctly took a class on learing how to read tarot. My teacher taught everyone in the class to just lay the cards down and talk about what we see and or feel with the cards. I feel this is a great way to learn also. This way teaches the reader to go with what they feel and see as well. I just wacthed both part one and two of your videos. I must say that I am amazed. I learned more then I did in the tarot class I paid for. Learning 78 cards and their meanings can be overwhelming, the technique you used made learning easy and effortless. I did a reading on my roommate using the same deck after taking the class. A few of the cards I didn't get any information out of them. Once I watched your videos, I was able to go back and full in the pieces. It was a really deep reading, not only with what you went over in the video; but also I only scratched the surface when I did the reading. You opened my eyes to many things I didn't see in the many of the cards before. Thank you for taking the time to explain each card in the deck in detail.

Several years ago, I bought my first Rider-Waite-Smith deck out of curiosity. I found the booklet's interpretation of the cards as dark, confusing and it scared me a lot so I checked online and found this video. hey thank you so much for the videos on your channel. I really appreciate the rational mindset you present this stuff with and the complete lack of nonsense. I haven't been able to find a perspective like that anywhere on youtube. I'm a scientific materialist but am finding tarot cards really helpful as a tool for forced introspection. They are definitely hacking the magical and religious thinking part of my monkey brain though, I can strongly feel the "magical energies" surrounding the cards when I do a reading and some of the card definitions in my accompanying guide book make me want to cry. The human brain is crazy! I'm hoping to take advantage of this and use it as a tool for personal insight.

Ben, you are very talented. I have never been aware of anyone expressing the meaning of the tarot in such clear and graspable ways without watering it down or oversimplifying. Where are you? You haven't posted videos in 5 years. You need to continue sharing your talents with the world.
I've been studying the Tarot for six years now.
In my opinion, the key to learning it is to have a flexible mind. It's all about intuition rather than worrying about having to memorize rigid, rehearsed meanings, astrological and kabbalistic structures and so on.
Of course, before you start giving readings, it's good to familiarize yourself with the overall consensus about the cards, and this video is great for _that_! But after coming to terms with the basics, it's your *responsibility* to take the liberty of exploring each card for yourself. It needs to become a dialogue between the subconscious mind and the Tarot. If that doesn't happen, you're only as good as Google - you can only _repeat_ already existing ideas.
The alchemical journey starts with you and the Tarot _creating_ something new, something that hasn't been there before. That's the beauty of it!
+Tarot Reader ASMR I've been studying Tarot since early 90's and the first time I saw cards I was lost. One can briefly guess on major arcanas because titles are written on each card, but not minor. Intuition came after learning briefly cards' meanings for me. I didn't memorize meanings of all cards, just brief idea of meaning of each suit like cups and numbers. Also major cards, like Death, often doesn't mean actual death, but change or saying good bye to past or old. I found it by reading books about tarot cards and realized it's true. At first I took Death as actual Death. Intuitive reading started to come after some years of studying the meanings.

This might be why (as an example) two different readers can do separate readings, pull different cards and receive similar messages for the same person/question etc. As symbolism is a universal language. --However, the readers that have fundamental knowledge/wisdom/experience with mythology, astrology, the nakshatras, kabbalah, etc have provided the best readings imo, bar none. They just have so much more to share, I always walk away with a much deeper understanding, but that's me. Of course everyone is different, and thus, as mentioned above, the beauty of Tarot. *Obervation: When the reader relies solely on psychic intuition, it is a hit or miss, especially when their energy is blocked (let's face it it happens ) and results in a bias reading.* That's why, imo, Fundamentals are so important. Like art, writing etc... You gotta know the rules before you break them , so to speak... yes I realize there aren't rules per say ☺ In ancient times, to be a scribe you had to learn EVERYTHING before you were allowed to write. Seeing all the misinformation in the world today seems to illustrate the significance of this valuable concept. Any time one has the power to influence others, that's a huge responsibility. As a growing tarot reader, my intuition tells me it's unfair and unethical to rely solely on my intuition. ✌❤

Great question! I often begin by asking a querent, "Is there a particular question you'd like an answer to? Or shall we have the cards to tell me what is on your mind?" If they choose the latter, I will do a 3 card spread. 1 is the past, 2 is their present mindset, 3 is what they are looking for. I use those cards to tell me the direction of the reading. After confirming with them that I understand what is on their mind, I'll go into a celtic cross. So for question #2, start with a 3 card spread

This is brilliant. I love the "cut the bullshit let's get to the point" vibe of this. I have been learning to read tarot for years now...well trying. I am someone who needs to be engaged and connected. Most books I've read(there have been many) gave the traditional classroom method. I don't learn that way,and in reality go into it with the predisposition that I will not retain it. My hand is going to fall off,lol. I have ten pages full of notes. You can find relations between major and minor, especially in relation to numerology. It's not the say all or end all, but there are relationships. There are even relationships between the first half of the majors and the second half.

Cathy S I'm sorry Cathy, but instead of simply putting other people down, why don't you back up your own beliefs on the subject? For instance, Tarot stems from Kabbalah. In The Tree of Life there are 10 sephiroth (Or states of consciousness) with 22 pathways between. The 22 pathways are represented by the Major Arcana, (And the 22 letters in Hebrew Alphabet).
YHVH The Hebrew God is split in to 4, so there are 4 Trees of Life. The 40 sephiroth represent the 36 small cards, plus the 4 aces.
Each trump is a world of its own-one one-twenty-second facet of the totality of consciousness-the ultimate spiritual and cosmological reality.
Each of the trumps can be thought of as having an entire set of 56 minor arcana cards that it rules and with which it executes its particular aspect of influence.
We could agree correctly that there are really 1,232 (22x56) tarot cards in a complete deck; 56 cards of the Minor Arcana dutifully playing out their elemental roles in 22 different, but intimately connected stories written and directed by each of the 22 trumps.

This video has nothing but good information within. It boggles my mind that anyone could dislike it. I find the Tarots ability to speak to every person I have read, a supernatural and spiritual tool that proves the nature of consciousness. We are all connected, even if we choose to deny it. Thank you for taking the time to help me make the connections I was lacking from the tiny little book that came with my deck. I saved time and money I don't have, which makes me happy! I have changed a lot of people's perspectives on the accuracy of Tarot. It helps to believe in your own intuitions, but I believe everyone has that ability and connectedness to make them work. There can be many reasons as to why someone would dislike it. I mean there's no real proof that cards hold any real answers. It's just vaque. To get any real answers or expecting to is silly. Don't know why people do it anyways.

I've been interested in Tarot for a long time, but have always found it
daunting to try to learn the cards' meanings. I have several books that
I've purchased over the years with great intent, only to look at the
number of pages and amount of text to again be overwhelmed by the amount

baseline in books that wanted to give me the entire history. Your

The class analysis and societal context of the figures is an often missing perspective, it really brings the cards a completely new life. Great job, thank you so much for this enlightening class!
In my opinion, that is an under-appreciated and under-recognized aspect of the tarot. Out idea of a knight today doesn't reflect the realities of what a knight went through hundreds of years ago. If you are reading based on pictures and labels, I think it is important to appreciate the nuances.
The ten of swords also means, the darkest hour before the dawn. The end of somthing painful and the rising of something new. In many religions the idea of suffering before enlightenment is shown. Only through loss and sadness we see the truth or search for it.

So glad this video popped up on my recommendation. I’ve been trying to understand tarot meanings for the last week or so, searched and watched quite some videos but most superficial and unable give more deep meaning/ historical context. Usually just describing the superficial and obvious meaning of the cards which I could probably read from some instruction books.

**** NUMBERING IN TAROT MATTERS ****
When I look at numbers, I think not only in terms of astrology,
but also numerology, so for those who think it's complicated... it's not.
Just know the BASICS and then the rest is your creative input!!!
My advice:
know basics about numerology as well as basics of astrology --
you don't have to get very deep, just get the "idea" of each number and
each planet and sign.
Example: The 5 of Pentacles, he mentions how they just "walk on past" the warmth
of the building with the stained glass window.
To me, 5 relates to "transition" and "change", it has roots with
Mars (aggressive/assertive) and Mercury (movement, fast-moving planet)---
whereas 4 is "static" (Saturnine stability)... 5 is "dynamic".
All I'm saying here is that you can compare one number to the next and
get a sense of what's happening in the story that you are telling the
person getting a reading (or if you are reading for yourself).
Here I'm providing my opinion on this topic, it may be helpful to a newbie who's
trying to learn more about Tarot - and I would invite to hear your
thoughts and what you find as well!!! :-)
Ace vs 2:
Ace is "1", or solo.... 2 is obvious, having "two", or duality...
2 vs 3:
duality/one-on-one versus group, right-left vs more than two
options (look elsewhere for answers!)--- think Alt-Right vs Ultra-Left/Antifa within
the "2" cards, and "3" would be a third alternative group called
"The Moderates", if we were discussing politics during a Tarot Card
reading....
like the "topic" that got your family into a huge fight
over Christmas dinner recently, LOL
3 vs 4:
dynamic, full free choices (having a menu and being intent
*TO* make choices), whereas 4 is "I have made my decision"... 3 is open,
4 is closed... 3 is available to bringing in different elements and
playing with the figures before making choices... 4 is about the
construction of the choices made, it's the actual planning, the
bringing-it-all-together.
4 vs 5:
stable, familiar, vs seeking change.... comfort vs hardship
that comes with change .... NOT changing vs being FORCED to change....
there's a concept, right!??? ... feeling nothing and being grounded vs letting
it hang loose and venturing out and becoming maybe a little unglued....
5 vs 6:
dynamic again vs stable and sound ...
trying vs tried-and-now-here-are-the-fruits of your labors...
moving residentially versus adjusting to the neighborhood (leaving the old
and getting into something new).... going vs arriving....
6 vs 7:
pride vs humility (clear in the 6 of wands for the pride/success
vibe, versus not taking offense to criticism, he's defensive, and not on
his high-horse anymore, but in both, clearly there is just ONE wand in-hand,
so has connections to Ace again, suggestive of opportunity) ....
Ace vs King:
here we are going "backwards" which is another way to read the cards'
numbers!!! It works also whether forward or backwards, so example, Ace is
highest number (usually in most playing card decks), but in Tarot deck is
the FIRST card.... but keeping in mind that things are infinitely cycling
through different stages of evolution, we need to look at the cards forwards
and backwards: the one before Ace is the King.... Ace vs King is established
success, but Ace is opportunity TO success... King is set in ways, Ace is new
at life... King is exit-interviews,... Ace is new job, new interview... again
I could ramble on for days about this... part of it is getting creative in
your mind on how you look at your cards.
Each card can be applied to scenarios differently. A "2" in a one-on-one
relationship can be interpreted differently than a "2" when appearing for
questions about health for example. It might lead to the same theme that
the card represents, but the situation in combination with the numbers showing
up can dynamically change the meaning of the cards too. That's why I see
Tarot as one type of intuitive art, not an exact science.
Another piece of advice: a person with a completely, clearly, upbeat and
positive attitude gets a 5 of Pentacles, does not mean shitty attitude, obvious...
but it does mean they are putting in the effort! You can tell when you MEET
someone and see how they carry themselves, what the meanings of the cards
would then mean for them! You don't really NEED Tarot at that point,
and the intuitive part is really about using your left and right brain and paying
attention to the signals people give off. Everyone gives off a vibe that can
influence how you see the cards. Hence why it's good to do a clearing and
free the mind before laying cards. Your brain is processing the verbal
and non-verbal cues, even though you might not consciously recognize
that you're saying things based on their vibe (or how they come across
to you). Example within the numbers: Ace being verbal/visual clues, the
"2" card being the non-verbal/subtle clues, adding "another level" of complexity.

I've been reding tarot for almost 19 years, beginning at 7 yeaes old, and this was incredible. I'm sharing this in my groups and directing people here. Fantastic work!!!
1) I cut the deck into 3 somewhat even piles. I then have the querent place them back together in any order they desire... using their left hand. 2) I only allow friends to handle the deck with their left hand. That is the hand which is most tied to the unconscious mind. Mostly, I try to limit the amount in which others handle my deck. I have no mystical reason for this (tho some say they they shouldn't be allowed to at all). 3) Just remain consistent in the way you turn them over.

I used this video to develop my reading skills. As I meet people that want to learn how to read Tarot, this is the video I send. Hands down one of the best learning tools I've ever used. I think it's important to not only be familiar with the images but to really understand the numbering and court card systems and how they relate to each other.

I also noticed a motif of elements among the suites. Swords cards seems to have trees in midst gusts clouds and birds representing wind. Wands have a more desert background with lizards and lion designs representing fire. Cups seems to obviously represent water while Pentacles always show arable land, nature, and gardens representing earth.
here is my take on that astute observation, you could use those images to define a sun sign.. water signs, earth signs, air signs, etc. something to think about. i think thats one of the reason that readers ask for birthdates..
i don't ask, but i feel that they can associate more aspects in that correlation

Marlon Mckinley. I would follow Lallana's suggestion. Once you start searching decks, you will notice small and huge differences according to the artist. I have a collection of several Tarot decks and I can tell you that although they all have the traditional meanings, the artist will add to the images, which changes the translation, slightly.
I renctly took a class on learing how to read tarot. My teacher taught everyone in the class to just lay the cards down and talk about what we see and or feel with the cards. I feel this is a great way to learn also. This way teaches the reader to go with what they feel and see as well. I just wacthed both part one and two of your videos. I must say that I am amazed. I learned more then I did in the tarot class I paid for. Learning 78 cards and their meanings can be overwhelming, the technique you used made learning easy and effortless. I did a reading on my roommate using the same deck after taking the class. A few of the cards I didn't get any information out of them. Once I watched your videos, I was able to go back and full in the pieces. It was a really deep reading, not only with what you went over in the video; but also I only scratched the surface when I did the reading. You opened my eyes to many things I didn't see in the many of the cards before. Thank you for taking the time to explain each card in the deck in detail.

I found the booklet's interpretation of the cards as dark, confusing and it scared me a lot so I checked online and found this video. hey thank you so much for the videos on your channel. I really appreciate the rational mindset you present this stuff with and the complete lack of nonsense. I haven't been able to find a perspective like that anywhere on youtube. I'm a scientific materialist but am finding tarot cards really helpful as a tool for forced introspection. They are definitely hacking the magical and religious thinking part of my monkey brain though, I can strongly feel the "magical energies" surrounding the cards when I do a reading and some of the card definitions in my accompanying guide book make me want to cry. The human brain is crazy! I'm hoping to take advantage of this and use it as a tool for personal insight.
