Wow, when I first started watching, I figured you were just going to find some wild bears to feed them. Then when I saw your child with food in the tow cart...I thought, these Russians are nuts!

Regular bears are in hibernation right now, sanctuary bears/bears in captivity aren’t usually doing that so I assumed it was a sanctuary they were going to.

Thank you for showing us this beautiful place! I can imagine there's not a lot of support for places like this, but they do important work. I hope people keep comments respectful, the shelter obviously does a good job taking care of the animals, as best they can. What a neat experience for your girls! Those bears are so cute.
Yes, the shelter actually looks much better than I expected it to be! I mean many things In developing countries aren’t even close to being that neat, organized, and well-made. And when it comes to social work, you usually try not to have any expectations😅 It’s already good enough that they just exist here.

It was sad in some ways to see all the animals in captivity, but as you describe at least they're in a safe place with hopefully enough food, It was so pleasing to see you could help in some way. God bless xxxxx
Unfortunately too many animals end up in shelters, however it is a safe haven for them. Kudos to you for taking treats to feed all those animals - you set a good example for Agatha.

Awww.... love the animals! On our cattle ranch we have about 1200 or more head of cows/calves/bulls combined, but.... unlike on our neighbor's ranches, we have lots and lots of tame cows who come up to you begging for treats. They will lick you and slobber all over you waiting for a protein cube that we use to suppliment their hay in the winter time. Our Airbnb guest can go with us to a pasture if they want to... and hand feed cows, which is a real treat to them, as most grow up in cities and haven't experienced large animals up close. You and your family are welcome here anytime! We had guests last year from Belgium and France. Just look up Nebraska sandhills Airbnb spots and you will find us!
A farmer who keeps the cows on his corn stalks from November until the end of February, commented to my husband that he doesn't understand how 80% of our herd are tame! (This is a big exaggeration of course, but we do have a hundred or more who are!) The babies won't come up to you unless they are bottle fed, but as soon as they are weaned away from their tame mamas', those calves born to the tame cows will begin to come up and beg for treats! Mama teaches baby! So it is generational.
I thought you were feeding wild bears loose on the mountain, but figured you knew what you were doing. What a relief! 😂

The animals looked healthy and well fed and very tame.
-That's the problem... they are NOT tame, and they are being habituated to human presence. If they become... not so well fed... they are more likely to attack a human. I love this channel but this was a very wrong-headed, foolish thing to do.- Oh they were caged? Never mind.

I am surprised to see the bears active during the winter. I've always heard that bears hibernate through the winter and become active in the spring. I'm glad they are in a protective place where they are cared for properly. Thank you for sharing this story.
Wild bears hibernate but the ones in sanctuaries usually don’t☺️

When I was in Canada they told us they don't actually sleep the whole winter, they wake up and are active sometimes.

Be careful feeding animals through the fence!! They all have sharp teeth and claws … and can move very quickly.
The dogs seemed so hungry poor babies. Thanks for feeding them.

You did the shelter and their animals a great service, btw bringing global awareness to their important work and current situation and the fact that the community contributes in funding and construction, as well as how quickly resources like food are consumed and therefore require ongoing support. I've been laughing so much at this funny introvert bear😄Tolya said that the tire looked like a nice-sized plate and he probably just wanted to peacefully set his “table” and eat an aesthetically pleasing meal just by himself😂

For those who would immediately say how thats horrible living in a cage, don't you know bears are closer and closer to human civilization? They are starving so they eat in trash. They are so close to village that they are more likely to be shot because they are hungry and feed themselves more easily by going to trash bins. So unfortunately living in cages is more safe in a way, even if they are not happy, maybe it is better than being alone after their mothers died shot.
In one country i don't remember wich one, a bear came to a bakery and ate all the sugar cakes! Nobody was hurt, she was very hungry and craving sugar obviously 😂

You gave me a heart attack !! In the beginning, I really thought you were wondering the woods looking for wild bears. Lol I calmed down after seeing the sanctuary. The bears were beautiful. It's awesome that you can go feed them. The snow is beautiful. We usually get some snow here but it's unseasonably warm on the east coast of the USA. So far, no snow for us.
I'm on the east Coast too. I kind of want snow ❄️ :( It's been on the 50s some days . I guess we are still on false fall?

Very interesting watching the bears use their paws for feeding themselves. I've never seen bears in this situation and up close!

I've never been anywhere where you could feed bears. There were some little animals like goats and animals smaller than that. And still - I still haven't seen a deer. Someday I want to see a deer.
We've had deers in my hometown in our central park, they were so cute🥰
They are in our yard every year to feed and play. I love that the moms bring their new babies back because they know they’re safe. We’ve left fruit trees that they enjoy and give them quite time in the morning and evening.

Nice! When I saw the title, I imagined you going into the wild to feed the bears since the photo looked like you were in the forest. I lived in the New Mexico mountains in the 1970s and came across a mother bear with two cubs about 15 feet away when I was on a nighttime walk. Alone.

The bears are so cute very unusual color of their fur and they are so friendly ❤ we have grizzly bears in mountains of Canada (Alberta) they are very dangerous
I think these bears are friendly because they grew up in the shelter but I wouldn’t want to meet them in the wild…

Nice! We have black bears all over the USA, and if they get habituated to human food (trash), sometimes they are captured and moved to a more remote location, or sometimes they are killed. People need to mind their trash and save the bears!
