Watching you and your family is such a refreshing experience, like meeting lovely friends who happen to live somewhere else. Your love for each other, your honesty and your natural beauty touch me deeply. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Thank you! I knew that church had to be important in your lives (meeting one's spouse in church is much to be preferred), and I think that it is more than "Minimal Russian Girl" which attracts many people to your channel. Your family appears to be genuinely happy, joyful, and peaceful; that is rare in a world of chaos and discord--it is attractive because it is "rare". Augustine of Hippo, RC Sproul . . . great individuals. There are rural towns on East Coast of USA, far enough from city but in the countryside.
There’s a song by Tim Minchin called If I Didn’t Have You that is written as a comedy song that rejects the notion of soulmates or fate (“if i didn’t have you, i’d probably have somebody else”), but I think it’s genuinely romantic. I’m not with my husband because of fate. I’m with him because we both choose to be and we both put in the work to be together. We didn’t fall in love at first sight. I really enjoyed this q&a. Im 21 and really want a good family someday. Im doing my best to make that dream a reality. Seeing how two healthy people interact with a young child and their partner is good, and something i dont get much exposure to. Thank you.
Oh my, you two are so adorable. This was such an enjoyable video to watch! It is evident that you have a love for each other and for God. Many blessings upon all three of you! If you do ever make it to Boston, the northern coast of Massachusetts, above Boston is beautiful. I might be biased because I live there. I have 4 boys that I never planned to homeschool, but I am doing it, and it ended up being the best decision. Whatever you end up doing with Agatha, I'm sure she will flourish with parents like you two!
Kindergarten = free daycare and you know what else. Good grades = how well you receive the message, they do not reflect how "smart" you are. Public school does not permit free thinking (or any school for that matter, especially post-secondary). I really enjoyed this upload. It's easy to see you two are completely tuned into your life and are committed to each other and are on the same page in regards to how you will raise your sweet, happy girl. Maturity and practicality is so important these days. So nice to see a young couple such as yourselves keeping it real and not getting "sucked in" to commercialism. Cling tightly to your freedom! Debt and consumerism = indentured servitude. Keep things simple and you will always be happy. Blessings.
Really fun to come back to this video a year later and see how much your lives have changed! Thank you for being so open in sharing your life with us, your family is amazing 💕
I just found your channel and I’m totally addicted! I’d been in Moscow for a month in 2009, taking a summer Russian course in Pushkin Institute, and I visited Tula (the samovar museum :D), as well as some other cities around Moscow. It was a great experience! You both seem so nice people, so down to earth, so calm and peaceful. I don’t even know you, but I like you already. I wish you all the best! Greetings from Portugal.
Growing up in South Texas it has quite the tendency of being hot (sometimes 110 degrees), so when I had the chance of traveling to the states of Washington and Oregon, it truly was refreshing, and somewhat odd given its oftentimes cool temperatures less of a tendency to have many hot, flat plains.
I love being able to listen to Russian while reading English subtitles. As a Russian language student this was very useful and enjoyable. Спосибо большое🥰

Oh my, that was so interesting and enjoyable. You seem a very happy and contented couple and very loving parents too. The sound was ok, i didn't have any problems with it. I hope you get to travel and see a bit of the world and Tolya's family too.
Very wonderful and interesting conversation. Don't be afraid of homeschooling your daughter. You can teach her according to her personality, reading aloud also is wonderful and it can be fun and interesting. Not sure what your laws would allow. My daughter homeschools, the two oldest she got through high school and she still has 8 at home from 4 to 16 years old. Blessings.
Listening to you guys talk was fascinating. You seem to just let each other, be who they are. No judgment, just acceptance and love. Discussing issues when you need to. You have such a sweet little family. I wish all the best for you. Xx

Hi Vika, I watched this video just now and think that it's amazing to see how some of the things you've been talking about already have become true - you have moved to another country and are expecting your second child. You're truly blessed! ☺ Also, as a learner of Russian, it was so cool to listen to your conversation and recognise some words and phrases. 😎

We have homeschooled our 4 children over the last 22 years. We just graduated our last one a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful experience for us. I had my doubts when the idea was first suggested, but it has been an amazing journey and all of our kids turned out just fine. Both of you are obviously intelligent and teaching your own is much easier than people think. It is really about having a love of learning yourself and wanting to share that with your children. Of course, we live in different countries and I do not know what it is like there to homeschool (law and community wise).
I'm from Oregon, USA and I love that Tolya chose Washington and Oregon as his top two US states to visit. Many Americans say that Portland and Seattle are problematic because of politics and socio-economic issues, but I was born in Portland and have lived within a 90 minute drive of the city my entire life (I'm 42). Yes, it's changed, as all cities do. Yes, it's going through hard times, as all cities do. It's still absolutely beautiful, though. I've been working on a spreadsheet of US states and the traits that are important to me. I'm doing it to see if any other state appeals to me more than my home state of Oregon. So far I think I could only be happy in Washington State if I ever left Oregon. The Pacific Northwest portion of the US is truly awesome. It's rare that you can drive 2-4 hours in any direction and be able to see ocean, mountains, forests, valleys, prairies, deserts, plateaus, caves, volcanoes... And winters are mild enough in the majority of the PNW (aside from mountains and high plateaus) that outdoor recreation surrounded by nature is possible year-round. I hope you can experience it yourselves soon!
I loved that in Russian! And I had no idea, your husband is such a pleasant talker, it was lovely to see him like that. Thank you for taking the time to write subtitles, I really liked that video
I live in Portland, Oregon. It is beautiful here! I was home schooled until grade 9 / secondary school. I think it made me a very independent and curious person and let me become authentically myself. My parents had no training as educators and they did fine. We did a lot of classes/camps/study groups outside the home for socializing and learning things my parents weren’t comfortable teaching. It made a “weird kid” when I started in traditional school and that was an adjustment but I still think overall it was good for me. No matter what you choose I am sure Agatha will do well and you will support her. Thanks for a very interesting video and thanks too to Tolya for sharing his perspective as well.
The sound was really good! And I loved to hear the both of you speak in russian, so sweet, I really enjoyed this video, really interesting, have a nice weekend

Love your family and may God bless all of you and go before you with a consuming fire to clear a path for you and may He light that path so brightly that you can't help but find your way!
I really enjoy hearing everything you both have to say... And I love that no one "helps" with Agatha. Y'all are equal in your relationship and I think that shows so much love and maturity. I really enjoyed this q&a. Im 21 and really want a good family someday. Im doing my best to make that dream a reality. Seeing how two healthy people interact with a young child and their partner is good, and something i dont get much exposure to. Thank you.
You seem like a great couple! May God continue to bless your family!
Glad you found each other!
я Русское но живу в Америке, родилась в Омске, Твой канал дает мне чувство комфорта, спасибо
You three have brought tears to my eyes!
This is life just as it should be. 💞
Loved!
Blessings.
What a beautiful setting!
Tolya's whole face smiles! 😊
Watching in North Carolina USA
You both seem like really great people. I'm glad you both are happy and doing well in life.
Thank you for the realness 😀 it’s not always rainbows and sunshine
Really fun to come back to this video a year later and see how much your lives have changed! Thank you for being so open in sharing your life with us, your family is amazing 💕
I just found your channel and I’m totally addicted! I’d been in Moscow for a month in 2009, taking a summer Russian course in Pushkin Institute, and I visited Tula (the samovar museum :D), as well as some other cities around Moscow. It was a great experience! You both seem so nice people, so down to earth, so calm and peaceful. I don’t even know you, but I like you already. I wish you all the best! Greetings from Portugal.
I love getting to know more about both of you! I live in Seattle and have all my life. Washington State is beautiful, you would love it here!
Wow! I'm in Seattle :P Also Russian is the third most spoken language in Portland. I always thought that was cool.
You and your husband are both such lovely people. God bless your family. Greetings from Greece.
So sweet. Your husband is sweet and I enjoy he isn't afraid to mention God. You have a wonderful family.
I love your family God bless you all
I love how he never stops smiling.
Thank you for sharing. Remember that through God all thing are possible.
I have a 14 year old.... Even at 14 they need you as much as a toddler does, just in different ways lol yes, parenting gets more challenging but along with it, comes more joy and rewards. You three have a beautiful life together! Really, our kids, no matter how old, are the MOST precious beings. Take care Vika! 😊😊
You are a lovely couple. God blessed you both with beautiful Agatha. It’s good to know that you three go to church. May God bless you and your family. 🙏 ✝️ ❤️ 🦋
Thank you from Portugal. I learnt Russian language as a kid in former Eastern Germany, but I forgot a lot, so it's nice to hear you talking in your mother language:) You are a lovely family!
Maybe one day you'll get back to learning Russian 😜
Oh my, that was so interesting and enjoyable. You seem a very happy and contented couple and very loving parents too. The sound was ok, i didn't have any problems with it. I hope you get to travel and see a bit of the world and Tolya's family too.
Very wonderful and interesting conversation. Don't be afraid of homeschooling your daughter. You can teach her according to her personality, reading aloud also is wonderful and it can be fun and interesting. Not sure what your laws would allow. My daughter homeschools, the two oldest she got through high school and she still has 8 at home from 4 to 16 years old. Blessings.
This is such a wonderful video... you are both so sympathetic!
I love there communication, love and overall understanding of the world ❤️❤️❤️
I am so happy that God is the head of your home.
Blessings to you and your beautiful family.
Listening to you guys talk was fascinating. You seem to just let each other, be who they are. No judgment, just acceptance and love. Discussing issues when you need to. You have such a sweet little family. I wish all the best for you. Xx
Hello from the South in America! Thanks for sharing your time with us. Y'all are a very wholesome couple and I respect your love of God.
It's so neat to see how this beautiful family has brought people from all over the world together. Hello South America from the U.S! I love that you wrote "y'all". Lol 🙂
My mum is from Oregon so we visit every couple of years to see my grandparents and uncle! It’s a beautiful state! I loved hearing both of your Russian! ❤️ You two are adorable and I can tell Tolya loves you very much!
Tolya is the definition of smile. hehehe Looking forward for more videos Vika, I just love how natural and genuine your videos are. Keep it up!
It’s nice to have you two converse together, you seem so happy and wise.
God has sent you two for each other. All the very best wishes to the both of you for a wonderful life together. Watching from Philippines
Hi Vika, I watched this video just now and think that it's amazing to see how some of the things you've been talking about already have become true - you have moved to another country and are expecting your second child. You're truly blessed! ☺
Also, as a learner of Russian, it was so cool to listen to your conversation and recognise some words and phrases. 😎
I’m enchanted💕 you’re so good people❤️ i loved this video very much: the conversation, the language and the background😇 Great love from Budapest💕
I was in Budapest for just one day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful. The goulash I ate was the most delicious food ever. Hopefully, next time I will stay longer. God bless you and your beautiful country. 🙏 🌺 ✝️ 🦋
You two are so sweet together, you remind me of me and my husband and we've been married over 40 years ❤️❤️ xx
If you come to Washington State, please come to Canada 🇨🇦 my boyfriend is Russian too!!! More than welcome to visit us!! Vancouver is Amazing!!
I loved that in Russian! And I had no idea, your husband is such a pleasant talker, it was lovely to see him like that. Thank you for taking the time to write subtitles, I really liked that video
Russian is such a beautiful language, would love to learn it someday 😍
This was so much fun to watch! Your husband has a genuine smile,he looks like a nice guy! And you are beautiful as always!!
its here!!! i love the dynamic between you and your husband and hes always so cheery :) love you two! ❤️
This video was wonderful to watch. The two of you were kind to give us a look into what is important to you individually and as a couple. Have you ever made a video about your wedding?
I love it when you guys are talking in russian since im learning русский язык now soooooo it's very useful for me to add some vocabs on my list. Stay safe guys! ❣
We also homeschooled our children and they are very successful. Just get together with others who also homeschool and go on field trips together.
I also really respect you being gender neutral when talking about parenting. I always look forward to your videos... Hi from coastal Virginia, US!
No subtitles in aus.love you anyway
OMG! I got really excited when you guys said Seattle! That’s where I live! You guys would love it here ❤️ 🌲🌲🌲❤️
Your husband is ready for life in America! The biggest problem Russians have is smiling and he is 1000% prepared for living abroad in US! 🙂
Who the fuck would want to end up in the violence asylum that is America?? Stay civilised!
@@avlh7116 Are you serious? If you don’t like America, you have the freedom to move to another country.
@@texasgal6201 hahaha I love that you didn’t contradict my statement about the mental hell hole that is America.....instead you told me to leave if I don’t like it.......it’s alarming what you think the priority is in that situation!!!
Russians have no problem with smiling. This is one of the myths of the deceitful Western anti-Russian propaganda. In fact, Russians are very cheerful, cheerful people with a good sense of humor.
@@texasgal6201 the whole world knows that the United States is a primitive and backward country with a very low culture and a terrible education.
You are so fortunate to have each other. God bless your family.
This is so nice to see for people who are learning Russian! Your accent is quite clear compared to other people's
Are you learning Russian?
I was pre pandemic actually! Stopped because it was too much videocalls and I got tired. Places are not open in my country yet
Thanks for sharing. I live about two hours away from Seattle. Love going there for the people watching and food.
You are an adorable couple :) You could be sitting outside here in Canada! I love listening to you speak Russian. Thank you the opportunity to look into your life in Russia. It has certainly been eye-opening for my guys and I. Have a wonderful day! God Bless!
