I have watched (what seems like) a zillion documentaries in my lifetime, and this is the first one I have ever seen about the Caucasus! Absolutely fascinating!
Here is to those exceptional wildlife photographers (or filmmakers ) who had to spend night & day in the Caucasus mountains, showing their single-minded determination & courage in the face of some adverse circumstances. It simply exhibits us to witness & discern the unwavering dedication of their sheer professional commitment to their crafts at the level most of us perhaps could only dream of. Hence, I can't help doffing my hat to them.,,,Thanks to all concerned in the success of production of this outstanding proportions, we could enjoy watching & appreciate it to the full for free on YT from the opulent comfort of our dwelling..,,,From California,,,(12/26/22)
Wonderful photography, unobtrusive and highly informative commentary.l particularly appreciate the absence of human beings shuffling cameras, moving equipment, driving jeeps and treating a nature documentary as a show off and photo op.
Although distant, I always felt a connection between my Balkans and the Caucasus. They are a wilder, more primeval version, truly majestic and more dangerous
The photography in this video is amazing, truly amazing and quite beautiful. Thank you so much for showing me a world so different, so far away from suburban America.
I should have been born here. Spent most of my late 20's and most of my 30's in southern Siberia but never got here and I saw only a tiny tiny % of what was actually around me.
beautiful film, gorgeous music, excellent narration. I totally enjoyed the dance of the chamois with appropriate music to accompany them. A work of art. Thanks for sharing!
I think the quality of this documentary is spectacular. And I appreciate the fact that I’m halfway through and you’ve avoided the many gruesome realities you could have offered us!
I've just been struck w/ utter awe for the stunning & breathtaking cinematography on this nature doc. Those photographers must have spent over 1 yr to take this ineffably beautiful picturesque landscapes, the mountain sceneries, & moreover, the dramatic life style of those animals in The Greater Caucasus. Were it not for Get. factual, I wouldn't be able to gain new & better insights into life & behavior of these creatures. Hence, with no qualms, I'd bestow my highest kudos upon all of them who had partaken in the creation of this unrivaled & almost incomparable nature doc. They all certainly deserve a pat on the back for a job exceptionally well done. Thoroughly grateful & gratified to the core.,,,From the sunny & warmer Southern California,,,,(12/24/22)
Eur- Asian Buffalo. The Caucasus proved an obstacle to Hitlers attempt to grab Caspian sea oil. Though he did send mountaineers to reconnoiter by climbing Mt Elbrus and other peaks. The trough plateau between the two ranges was inhospitable. Extraordinary landscapes . Incredible photography in Ouspensky territory .
what an effort by the team. the documentary is made excellent and there is no moment when one feels to speed up the video. congratulations for giving a real feel in the reel. thank you
A wholesome, informative documentary with splendid, rare visuals n spell- binding footage!!! The smooth narration backing the awe-inspiring footage of the mighty Caucasus Mountains teaming with elusive fauna n flora is a must watch for all the knowledge seekers!!
A brilliant documentary! The photography is superb as so is the narration.Thank you for never using a robot voice - I always stop watching whenever I hear one.
what about that one that sounds like prince William talking so proper and they speed him up or down depending on the program they show... oh and Robert seiper he has many aliases as well...

This jumps from this area to that area, that mountain, this mountain. I wish this would flash to a Map showing us what part of the Caucasus we're hearing about. More distant/wide-angle shots of an area would also help.
I am awestruck to see the efforts taken. I would like to donate some money to the makers of this and several others of similar kind. All are awesome... 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Bravo! I'm 67 and this is one of the best nature documentaries that I've ever watched. I've always been intrigued by this land of mystery and legends.
😅
This reminds me of the fabulous documentary like Mutual of Omaha wild kingdom when I was a kid in the 70's. Bravo ❤❤

@telemachus53 Nor a sensationalised over excited voice over. Awful.
I can’t listen to bots or the sophomore silly voices…….ugh…….I stop immediately……..

Documentary narrators voices should be the LAST thing we notice, not the first!
In full agreement with the comments below. Bot "voices" and obtrusive "pseudo-music" ruin many a documentary.
