Story #2: This reminds me when I was in my 20s and went to have lunch with my co-workers at an Italian restaurant. I said pasta and the waitress listed all these names of pasta that I was not familiar with. I said “pasta” again. Everyone gave me this “wtf” look. Lol You could just had help him by telling the waitress to give you both more time and tell him, “you are not familiar with this restaurant; therefore allow me to do the ordering.”
