  • I rode my 2020 Street triple 765 rs to Paul at moto46.co.uk near Bury St Edmunds in the UK to have my bike tuned.
    The bike already had a full SC project exhaust fitted and I wanted to get the most out of it so a power commander and BMC filter were installed and Paul at moto46 tuned the bike to take advantage of all the modifications
    This is what you can expect from performance upgrades to your 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS

    In 2010 i had a Zx6r that put put 122 WHP after exhaust and power commander. At MSS racing. Th3 765 isn't much better considering the elapsed time and technology. I would expect more

    • @BikesofRye
      @BikesofRye  3 года назад +3

      Sure but understand the reason for such a high revving engine is to extract more bhp... You are getting that power at 16krpm where as the 765 is achieving more than that at 11krpm. You are really having to scream the zx6r which isn't such a bad thing I guess but it is just worth keeping in mind how the 765 performs certainly on the road at least. I had an R6 before this and can say the 765 is much smoother with noticeably more low and mid-range power

    Great video and summary of your experience. Like your also quoting the peak wheel HP of your bike stock from the same tuner and with exhaust without tune. Was the stock dyno HP quoted a 2020 765RS? Would like to see dyno chart of stock bike from same tuner you used. You should go with a friend and demo a KTM 890 Duke R and swap back and forth to see how your modded tuned bike compares with the powerful KTM 890.

    • @BikesofRye
      @BikesofRye  3 года назад +1

    • @morkys2410
      @morkys2410 3 года назад

      I had a 2018 Street 765 R but traded it in. I am thinking I would like to get back into the street triple. The 2020 RS looks great.
      The comparisons with the KTM890 Duke R all favour the KTM mostly due to its power curve but I want the triple sound and other aspects of the Triumph :) Although I wouldn't want a full race exhaust for the 765RS, if I add a good freer flowing slip-on muffler (eliminating one CAT), freer flowing air filter and dyno tune I am guessing I may be able to manage 125 ish rear wheel HP and increased midrange torque. Worth it in my opinion.
      How much torque did you gain and at what rpm was the peak? I am trying to see by looking at the dyno chart you show but it is hard to read.
