    I had tested it a year earlier and really blew my mind with its handling. I am watching your videos from the day you picked up your RS. Two days ago, I finally ordered mine! Same fastest colour scheme. In the next few days it will be in my garage 🎉🎉
    Bike ordered with the tank pad, fly screen and frame sliders.

    Interested to know if the tune via your PCV has made the quick shifter smoother? I get that they’ve got it to work at all RPM’s, but yours sounds nice a crisp through most of the rev range. It’s a bit all over the place on my one. Into 5th and 6th can be very jerky sometimes.

    • @BikesofRye
      @BikesofRye  3 года назад

      I would say that when it was tuned because the air/fuel is optimal it just makes the engine note more crisp and I get the odd crack between changes now. The quickshifter isn't any smoother though

      I will have the best tire FOR MY STYLE OF RIDING and the same with the rear. They may or may not be the same make. Results first appearance secondary. I can be OCD about some things but matching tire brands isn’t one of them.
      In fact I’d rather you think my bike is old and a bit haphazard. Until I turn an 11 flat ET in a stock 20 yo street fighter.
      I don’t care about looking good standing around. I do care to look good from my rear pulling away from you. YMMV.
      And this level of fashion consciousness possibly on an EFI bike with fake “feel good” carbs. Guess I’m still set in my $ conscious college days mindset but I want go-faster parts, not look perfect parts. A clean bike, to be sure, but for riding like you stole it, and not parked at a drive in.
      To each, his or her own, but I expect to be contending for the front spot.
      Best day of my life was about thirty years ago, during an incoming massive fog storm.
      Emergency radio broadcasts promising no speeding tickets, just don’t be reckless. Flogged my 88 Thunderbird hard from Atlanta to Richmond. Outran a shocked 944 Porsche. Averaged the ton plus for 500+? miles.
      And the tires were better than stock. That’s the kind of look I like.
      Send me any unmatched tires you want to get rid of. I m searching for the next machine to use them on.
      Bikes are supposed to be fun, not just look stock, or matching tires. Or fake carbs or pushrod tubes. Bauhaus dammit
